General Conditions of Tender

1 A demand draft of Rs50,000=00 for EMD/SD drawn on in favor of Botad nagar

palika,Botad shall be attached with the tender offer as EMD without which no

tender will be accepted.

2 Pan no. & G.S.T No. should be mentioned in tender as well as in the bill.

3 Prices should be including excise duty, sales tax, vat tax, insurance, delivery charges,

unloading charges, etc.

4 Botad nagarpalika reserves the right

(1) To change alter or to waive any technical or commercial terms, conditions.

(2) To reject all the tender or the lowest or any other tender in part or full without

assigning any reason what so ever.

(3) For making changes / relaxation in eligibility criteria at any time.

(4) To split the tender & award to more than one tenderer

5 Tenderer shall have to arrange & bear all the cost of transportation lodging boarding &

cost for inspections of material if required by Botad nagarpalika. We will depute our

representative for the inspection

8 Failing the delivery schedule. Penalty at the ½ % per week of the work order amount

with maximum limit up to the amount of security deposit will be charged for materials

11 No price escalation shall be entertained.

12 The agency whose tender is accepted shall have to make an Agreement on an stamp

Note :-1 Damage during the work

The agency shall have to take care of that existing Municipality / Private drainage

lines, water supply lines or telephone cables are not damaged during the

execution of work. Any damage during the construction work shall be repaired

by the agency at their own cost.

Note:-2 Third party inspection of the work.

All the works covered under this tender package shall be inspected by a third

party appointed by Botad Nagarpalika. The charges for the inspection of works

by the third party shall have to be borne by the agency whom the tender is
