Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, jambs etc complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth, for foundation, etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc n exc10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returing, filling in any type of soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material ( surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L brick work with sub class "B" old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Granite (of any type) work 16-18 mm thick (table rubbed and polished)in staie case steps, jambs, pillars, windowcills, cooking platforms and like in including 15 mm cement mortar (1:4)& taking down old pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match.

Demolition of cement concrete (Un-reinforced) in any position n.exc 15cm thick (above or below GL) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C2(Using 40 mm graded aggregate) in Foundation, filling and mass concrete in post holes and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B1(Using 12.5 mm graded aggregate) as in Coping similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick work or stone masonry walls including rackingout joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 15mm thick rendering cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished the surfaces even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L three coats of whitewashing to newly plastered surfaces of wall preparation of surfaces.

Dismantling posts or struts from natural ground (wood, steel, or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) , bars including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only (Received from dismantling) Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) , bars including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide or zinc chrome complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Concertina coil,fencing with punched type concertina coil 600mm dia openable length having 50 Nos rounds per 6 Rm length upto 3.2 m height of wall with agle iron Y shaped placed places 2.5 to 3.5m apart and stud tied with GI staple aand GI clip to retain hoizontal including necessory bolts or GI barbed wire tied to angle iron spring core 2.5mm thick wire of high tensile strength of 165 Kg/Sqm with tape 0.52mm thick and weight 43.478 gm/mtr as in repairs complete all as spec and directed

Dismantling and Refixing of same Concertina coil,galvanised 600mm dia, streched over barbed wire and angle post, 60 spirals/12m and 3 Nos of clips per spiral as per manufacture's instructions complete all as spec and directed

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) soft/loose soil each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and Refixing of same Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut exc 5cm but n.exc 10cm long and diameter of neck 11 to 15mm.

Dismantling fencing wire/ mesh any type complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only galvanized iron chain link fencing of any size as or type complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type of standards,rails,straining bolts,etc including provision of binding wire all as directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing(Received from dismantling) including making good and condition free from any dent/bend fix in same position with nut and bolt,any mesh, size and type of standards,rails,straining bolts,etc including provision of binding wire all as directed.

M&L for mild steel round bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips/welded to frames conforming to Gd .I,IS-432 (Part I) Part-I complete all as specified and directed.

M&L GSB. 300mm GSB Grade V as per MORTH specifications, surface found watered and ramped, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient using earth compactor (power roller) 8/10 ton or compaction methodology recommended by soil agency to achieve 98% of maximum dry density at optimum moisture content determined using modified proctor density determination method as per IS code complete over compacted sub grade in two layers of 150mm each. Before laying of GSB one test for K value shall be carried out at every 750m2 surface area and record duly signed should be maintained. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of K value testing. Soil should have a minimum K value of 3kg/cm2/cm. The K value of site available for design is obtained by deducting the standard deviation of the readings at the individual test locations from their average/mean value.

M&L WMM. Material and execution for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in two layers of 75mm thick shall be as described. The coarse aggregate of grade-I (90 to 40mm) as specified in MORTH, spread using mechanical road paver and consolidation to required gradient and camber using vibratory roller/ earth compactor of 8-to-12-ton capacity complete all as specified and directed.

M&L DLC. Material and execution for dry lean concrete (DLC) of average 125mm thick with compressive strength not less than 10 MPa at seven days for each consecutive group of 5 cubes or individual strength of cube shall not be less than 7.5 MPa at seven days using table 600-1 of IS 456 for grading of aggregates, minimum cement content shall not be less than 150kg per m3 as per MORTH IRC specifications, including spreading using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted by using mechanical vibratory roller of capacity 8-12 tons complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PQC. PQC will be casted in blocks of any size as directed by Engr in charge. Pavement Quality Cement Concrete (PQC) work in Dispersal area shall confirm to MORTH IRC specifications and shall be of of flexural strength 45 kg/cm2 in field using minimum 400 kg (for OPC) of cement per m3 or as per design mix, (thickness of concrete minimum 200mm) mixed with triangular/ non-circular synthetic polyester fiber reinforcement @ 0.25% by weight of cement and grading of aggregates & design criteria as specified and mix at batch mixing plant, spread with fixed form paver, compaction to gradient and camber required and all as specified and as directed.

M&L HDPE Sheet. Material and execution of high-density polythene film (transparent colour) in single layer of 400-micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D 2103, IS 2508) laid with side end overlapping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed

M&L Expansion Joints. Forming 25mm wide expansion joint, filled with compressible synthetic filler board, for complete depth of joint, i.e 300mm, provision of closed cell polyethylene backup rod 30mm dia, filled with polyurethane sealant (Minimum depth of sealant above polyethylene rod shall be of 15 mm) complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN - 141875 - 2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides, with minimum MAF ±30 % (with ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means all as shown on drawing and all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The make of filler board shall be of brand "DURA board HD 100" manufactured by M/s Supreme Industries Ltd or equivalent of makes listed here-in-after. (b) The synthetic filler board shall be premoulded compressible black in colour having minimum density of 100(±)10%Kg/cum, water absorption less than 0.09Kg/sqm and compression recovery of 93%. (c) The make of polyethylene rod shall be of brand "DURA Rods" manufactured by M/s Supreme Industries Ltd or equivalent of makes listed here-in-after. (d) The polyethylene rod shall be of desired diameter having minimum density of 22Kg/cum and compression strength of 0.40Kg/sqm, 25% greater than the joint width, of white colour. (e) Primer to be used before filling sealant (f) Edges shall be bevelled and joints cut within 24 hours using diamond bit cutters of Bosch or equivalent used for cutting green concrete.

M&L Contraction Joint. Forming contraction (Dummy) joints, cutting 100mm deep with 3mm width as initial cutting and secondary cutting of 25mm deep from the top and 8mm wide using diamond cutter to accommodate polyethylene backup rod 10mm dia and sealed with polyurethane sealant (Minimum depth of sealant above polyethylene rod shall be of 15mm) complying with BS:5212, BS:4254 and EN-41875 -2003 (For hydrolysis / water resistance test), priming the sides, minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF)±30% with ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means all as shown on drawing and all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The make of polyethylene rod shall be of brand "DURA Rods" manufactured by M/s Supreme Industries Ltd or equivalent of makes listed here-in-after. (b) The polyethylene rod shall be of desired diameter having minimum density of 22Kg/cum and compression strength of 0.40Kg/sqm, 25% greater than the joint width, of white colour. (c) Primer to be used before filling sealant (d) Edges shall be bevelled and joints cut within 24 hours using diamond bit cutters of Bosch or equivalent used for cutting green concrete.

Formwork to edges of concrete flats, breaks in floors, openings in concrete walls, floors and roofs and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping, and similar work all n.exceeding 20cm wide. (Where RCC/PCC band in walls, spanning and opening.

M&L Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the BIS specifications shall be followed.
