General note applicable to all sections : 1) The make/model/brand for all the BOQ items shall be as per suggestive makes of Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document. The make/model/brand mentioned in Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document is merely for guidance and bidders can prefer any other make which is meeting technical specifications given under Section-V and Schedule of Quantities of Tender document and shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes and other relevant codes. However, the bidder may suggest any equivelent make/ model/brand meeting technical parameters on or before pre-bid conference for approval of BARC(V). 2) Only sieved river sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 3) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 4) The contractor shall set up automatic batching plant/sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete. 5) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. No extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area. 6) Manufacturer's Test certificate of cement which is procured from dealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor.

7) "Substrcture" refers to the part of structure upto top level of ground floor grade slab and "Superstructure"refers to the part of structure above the top of the ground floor grade slab. 8) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document "General Scope of all works" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 9) The rate quoted for the items by the bidder shall include the approved make as per Annexure B of Section VII of tender document. Any other additional makes proposed by the bidder have to be informed to BARC before pre-bid meeting (to be held before submission of bids) and to be approved by BARC. 10) The quoted rates shall include necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials. 11) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORTH, ASTM, etc. refer only latest revisions including all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed. 12)Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission of relavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC. 13) All the tests mentioned in Quality Assurance Plan(QAP) should be carried out without any extra cost. 14) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for all the naturally available construction materials before submitting the RA bills.

SECTION -'A' INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS Note: The rates in respect of items 101.01 & 101.02 is applicable for the net quantities arrived as per the actual difference in levels jointly taken by the department and the contractor after compaction of the earth as mentioned in the item description.

Providing, supplying and filling in the plinth and other approved locations with approved murrum/gravel brought from outside sources in layers of not more than 250 mm thick, compacted with vibratory rammer / floor compactor and consolidated including watering to achieve a minimum of 90% of proctor density at optimum moisture content,etc. complete all as per drawing, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (only consolidated thickness will be measured and paid for)

Construction of Embankment/ subgrade/ earthen shoulders and filling in areas with approved quality murrum/gravel brought from outside sources including supply of all materials , in road works and the areas wherever specified including breaking clods, storing, transportation, watering, with compacted thickness of each layer not exceeding 250mm with 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller to achieve 95% proctor density in area filling/road embankment/Subgrade and Shoulders of roads at optimum moisture content, all leads and lifts, bailing/ pumping out of water to keep site dry while backfilling. Cost shall include conveyance of all materials, labour, machinery, seigniorage charges etc. complete. The rate quoted shall include loading, unloading, hire and fuel charges for tools and plants and other incidental charges etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge. Notes for Item No: 101.02 The rate quoted for this item shall also include the following 1. Clearing & grubbing and removal of top 150mm soil and compaction of the original ground with vibratory power roller to achieve hard and level surface including the disposal of removed top soil within a lead of 200m from site boundary. 2. Cutting, removing and disposing of all materials such as trees up to girth 30 cm (when measured 1 meter from ground), bushes, heavy and light jungles, shrubs, stumps , roots, grass, weeds, etc., 3. It shall include necessary excavation, backfilling of pits resulting from uprooting of trees and stumps to required compaction, handling, salvaging, and disposal of cleared materials.

Supplying, lowering, laying of RCC Hume Pipes (Class NP2) with necessary collars laid to correct grade & levels at all depth, including cutting to lengths, jointing with hemp yarn & cement mortar 1:1, caulking the joints, finishing, curing and testing all as per Technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Cost including reinforcement steel, materials and labour etc., including hoisting, placing in position by manual or mechanical means and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including testing of joints etc. complete. (Note: Excavation, bedding shall be measured seperately under relevant item)

Providing and fixing 110 mm dia PVC rain water pipes conforming to relevant IS type B and PVC SWR fittings &specials conforming to relevant IS including jointing with seal ring / With PVC solvent adhesive including fixing in walls using clamps etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting hand broken/ crushed stone aggregate under floors also, of required thickness Wet Mix Macadam including premixing of material with water in mixing plant for Wet Mix Macadam, carriage of mixed material by tipers to the site and laying material in uniform thickness under floors etc., and laying by mechanical paver including rolling with road roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber spreading and brooming etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)

SECTION - 102 Bored Cast In Situ Piles

Forming vertical piles by boring through fill and all kinds of soils including hard murrum with gravel and chiselling through occassional boulders and soft / weathered / hard rock by Rotary Drilling method, including conducting Standard Penetration test using SPT equipment all as instructed by Engineer In Charge, carting away the bored excavated soil upto a lead of 600 metres at places shown inside BARC campus, fixing reinforcement as per drawing, casting the piles with M-30 grade concrete by tremie only, using graded stone aggregates of maximum size 20 mm, with minimum cement content of 400 Kgs. per cubic metre of concrete and with water cement ratio including the water contained in the aggregates not exceeding 0.40, etc. all as per drawing, technical specification, and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note : (i) The Rate quoted shall include concreting a minimum of 600 mm above specified cut-off levels, cutting of piles at cut-off level specified including cost of all materials, admixtures (Naphthalene/Melamine based or approved super plasticisers), if used with the prior approval of engineer in charge, labour, tools, excavation, dewatering by pumps or well points and also for cut-off chipping, all as required etc. excluding cost of steel reinforcement but including cost of boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing for approprite length for setting out and removal of same complete. (ii) The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixtures. (iii) Rate shall include conducting minimum 01 no of SPT for each pile for which no additional payment will be made to the contractor. (iv) Reinforcement will be measured and paid for separately under relevent item. (v) The Rate quoted shall also include mobilisation work including transporting to site all necessary plant, equipment, piling / boring rigs or rotary piling equipment, necessary pile load testing equipment and materials, making vats, mobilising personnel, etc., erecting and commissioning all piling/boring rigs, plant & equipment and removal of same after completion as required & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

500 mm dia. piles M-30 grade concrete in ordinary soils, murrum, gravel, soft rock and occassional hard/weathered rock & boulders ( Note:Occassional hard/weathered rock means that which is encountered between the layers of soil and not continuous rock).

Empty boring for piling measured from working ground level to cut-off level of the piles for the 500 mm dia. piles.

Conducting Routine Vertical load testing of piles of following sizes in accordance with IS 2911 (PART IV) including installation of loading platform and preparation of pile head or construction of Test cap including cost of synthetic plaster and dismantling of test cap after test etc. complete all as per drawing, technical specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. Conducting tests on piles as mentioned in above items shall be at design load / working load of piles as per IS standards 2911 (Part - IV) and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 2. Submission of test reports along with conclusions for all kinds of tests as soft as well as hard copy (three copies) as required by the Engineer-incharge. 3. The Rate quoted shall also include mobilisation work including transporting to site all necessary plant, equipment, piling / boring rigs or rotary piling equipment, necessary pile load testing equipment and materials, making vats, mobilising personnel, etc., erecting and commissioning all piling/boring rigs, plant & equipment and removal of same after completion as required & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4.Payment shall be made on number of tests conducted.

Conducting Pile Integrity Test (PIT) by sonic integrity testing method as per IS 14893 for the pile confirming the soundness of the pile constructed. The PIT shall have to be done by any NABL approved QC laboratory in and around Visakhapatnam. Cost includes submission of detailed report to BARC(V).

SECTION - 103 EARTH WORK EXCAVATION Note : The rate quoted for earthwork excavation by contractor is deemed to have included the following points (a) to (j) a) removal of all kinds of vegetation, small shrubs, light/heavy jungle etc., trees upto girth of 30 cm when measured 1 metre above ground level alongwith roots, including disposal/stack in the identified location. b) shoring, strutting, stepping, dressing, grading required for keeping the earth in position on sides of trenches with approved timber/steel accessories wherever necessary to prevent sides from falling including bailing or pumping out of water if necessary including removal of debris/unserviceable materials and excavated excess soil, if any. c) dewatering of both ground and surface water, including removal of slurry generated while excavation and keeping the area free from water, to be let out of the building area through proper pipes & channels if required by suitable pumps d) watering, ramming and thoroughly consolidate the bottom of all excavations & ground before the construction of foundation/footing/plinth beam, filling in basement or other work is commenced. e) the loose pockets shall be excavated and compacted after back filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge, as per detailed specification and conforming to safety rules during progress of the work. f) Contour levels to be taken jointly with the Engineer-in-charge and prior written approval be taken before starting any excavation/ filling at every 3 m grids for arriving at the actual quantity, g) Backfilling will be done in layers of thickness as specified below. h) Cost inclusive of necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges and other charges to supply all the required construction materials, i) cost of items shall include all labour charges, hire charges of machinery, lubricants, fuels and tests etc. j) Measurement/Payment will be reststicted to PCC/drawing dimensions only.

From 0.00m to 1.50m below average GL with refilling of excavated earth in layers of not more than 250mm each layer

Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion (Imidacloprid) at the rates and concentrations as per IS 6313 Part II for preconstructional anti termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and around the foundations, masonry pits, masonry foundations, wall trenches, plinth filling, junctions of wall and floor, expansion joints, surfaces of RCC works for a depth of min. 500mm from the finished ground level, surrounding pipes, conduits etc., walls retaining soil above floor level, apron and drain along the perimeter of the building including all associated works complete as per specification / IS 6313 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (only ground floor plinth area of the building will be measured for the payment in the following three stages). a) 20% after completion of the foundations/plinth beam. (The payment will be made only for the areas, which were not treated previsouly.) b) 50% after completion of the ground floor flooring. c) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows and around the building. Work to be executed by approved agency and specified guarantee for 10 (Ten) years shall be furnished by the tenderer. Payment will be cleared only after submission of Guarantee. Note: The payment part of (a) will made only for the areas, which were not treated previsouly.

SECTION - 104 PCC, RCC & FORM WORK Notes: 1) Rates quoted for PCC & RCC items shall include cost of sieved river sand (from Godavari river or varaha river or Vamsadhara river or sarada river or Nagavali river)/ crushed stone sand (confirming to Zone-II ) as fine aggregate and graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material as a coarse aggregate. No extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 river Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) at all elevations including for roads. Cost includes consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding the cost of form work shuttering, centering all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) at all elevations including consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding the cost of formwork shuttering, centering all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying design mix reinforced cement concrete of M30 Grade by weigh batching using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size and coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved Brand and quality, including handling & transportation, scaffolding, mechanical mixing, placing to required location by hoisting and / or pumping & mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, hacking of concrete surfaces wherever required etc. complete at all levels in substructure/superstructure, roads, etc as per specifications & also including dewatering, if any, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement. Note: 1) The minimum cement content shall be 390kg/Cum of concrete. However, actual cement content required shall be based on design mix requirements carried out at BARC approved (NABL accredited) laboratory. In case the cement quantity consumed more than the specified above, the cost towards extra cement will not be paid. 2)Temparature raised due to heat of hydration shall be kept within limits in raft/mass concrete by keeping proper curing mechanism.

Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using Film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, steel frame work/H-beams, steel proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls,roads etc., for all heights and leads. 2) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 3) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar at no extra payment. 4) The design and drawings of formwork shall be submitted alongwith calculations for approval before commencement of work. 5) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete. 6) Wall ties passing through the walls will not be allowed.

Providing and placing in position Reinforced cement concrete of M30 grade by weigh batching as precast R.C.C. slabs and hatch covers using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max.size and Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved Brand and quality, handling & transportation, mechanical mixing & vibration, finishing, curing etc.complete as per specifications including formwork, scaffolding providing working platform for precast units, platform comprising levelling of ground, soling, and P.C.C. etc. all complete as directed and as per specifications including handling & transporting precast units from yard to appropriate place and fixing in position including labour, mechanical grinding (if required), making good the surface & other incidentals but excluding reinforcement, lifting hooks & structural steel Sections, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: All projections, fins etc. in the concrete surface formed at the joints in formwork should be ground & flush and finished at no extra cost.

SECTION - 105 REINFORCEMENT & STRUCTURAL STEEL

Providing Reinforcement steel of all diameters for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting to all elevations, placing and keeping in positions, all leads, fixing, tieing with minimum 1.2 mm dia annealed GI coated binding wire including all labour charges, cost of cover blocks (in same grade of concrete) of various thicknesses and sizes etc. all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Using TMT Bars of Specified Grades of all sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor of grade - Fe 500D / Fe-500EQR. Notes: 1) 1.2mm dia annealed GI coated binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. 2) Fe-500D / Fe-500EQR bars as per IS to be supplied by the contractor from their own plants rolled from virgin materials only. 3) Reinforcement bars from conversion agents / re-rollers of above manufacturers, will not be accepted. 4) No extra payment will be made on account of Rolling Margin & wastage. 5) Contractor shall supply copy of the documentry evidence of purchase of steel, test certificate from the manufacturers and also test from third party to be carried out at no extra cost.

Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates and chequrred Plates for Embedded Parts,Trench Covers, Connection plates etc.including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc.including cost of structural steel Plates,welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Using materials produced by the own plants using virgin materials. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials

Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted including in built up sections for columns, beams, trusses, structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, drilling, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of zinc chromate steel primer etc., complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. i) Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials. Note: 1) Structural steel required for the work shall not be supplied by the Department and the contractor has to procure the same. 2) Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced. 3) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories as per QAP with out any extra cost. 4) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. 6) Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted.

Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel members for railing, pergolas, gates etc. using MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections including applying a coat of primer using redoxide or approved before and after erection and two coats of first quality anticorrosive polyurethene paint all as per Technical specifications, drawings, complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of 2 ply 4 spikes of 12 guage galvanised steel barbed wire (2.50 mm dia for line wire and 2.0 mm for point wire) of standard quality as per IS 278 including cost and conveyence of all materials (viz.) G.I. Barbed wire , GI wire for tying etc. , all labour charges for fixing the barbed wire to MS angle posts (in horizontal lines and diagonals) with G.I.staples & wooden plugs and as shown in drawing and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge, complete. Note:Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of GI barbed wire used with G.I. wire 12 swg

SECTION -106 MASONRY WORKS

Providing and constructing 100/150/200/230mm (or as directed) thick masonry at all elevations with approved quality Fly ash/ FAL-G bricks (confirming to IS 12894) having minimum crushing strength 60 Kgs/Sq.cm and water absorption of maximum 20%, in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 river sand/ crushed stone sand) uniformly mixed in machine with approved 'non-shrinking compound' as per manufacturer’s instruction in specified courses of approved bond also providing horizonatal RCC band of 100/150/200mm x 100 mm (or as directed) at about 1.00 m c/c with 2 nos. 8 mm dia Tor bars and 6 mm dia links at 300 mm c/c in cement concrete (1:2:4), required formwork, complete including pointing, raking out joints, curing, cleaning, including independent double legged scaffolding, at all heights, depths and leads, dewatering area where required etc., all as per typical drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note for flyash bricks: In the fly ash bricks the mix confirming to the strength mentioned in the respective items shall be got approved by the department. The mix shall consist of ordinary portland cement content of not less than 20%(preferably) of the mixture consisting of Fly ash, OPC and Gypsum or any variation in proportion of design mix shall be submitted to BARC for approval. The Anhydraous Gypsum, Fly Ash, Cement, Crusher dust and other materials shall confirm to the the relevant IS codes. The Anhydrous Gypsum shall be procured from a reputed source approved by the department. Roller mixer shall be used for good homogeneous mixing. Note for brick masonry item: a) Reinforcement will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item. b) RCC band and formwork shall not be measured seperatly, however no deductions will be made in brickwork for the same. c) No holes in brickwall will be allowed for scaffolding. Only double tubular steel scaffolding be allowed.

SECTION - 107 PLASTERING WORKS

Providing 15 mm thick Plain Internal Plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished smooth, including sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of the surface, double steel tubular scaffolding, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site etc. complete all as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing 20 mm thick External plastering in two coats under layer 12 mm thick with cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished with a top layer 8 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (using river sand) admixtured with Water proofing admixture @ 2% by weight of cement used (in both layers) and as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, double tubular steel scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. complete all as per Technical specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. cost including forming drip moulds /vattas wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Forming grooves of uniform size from 12 mm X 6mm to 50 mm X 12 mm in plastered surfaces as per approved pattern using wooden batterns, nailed to the under layer including removal of wooden batterns, repair to the edges of plaster panels and finishing the groove complete as per specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing in position 22 gauge G. I. Chicken wire mesh with 20 mm opening, around door & window frames, junctions of walls with concrete etc. wherever required, before plastering including cutting, nailing with 'U' nails, screwing, minimum overlapping of 150 mm, etc. all complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by Enginner-in-charge. (Overlaps will not be measured for payment) Width of chicken wire mesh to be fixed shall be min. 150 mm.

Making various moulds / bands in C.M. 1:3 as specified below, in proper line, level, shape and design as shown in following drawings, fixing chicken wire mesh (to be paid under relevent item), preparing surfaces, rendering with sponge, scaffolding, curing, etc. complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Making plastering band 100 mm wide 20mm thick from base plaster as shown in drawing

SECTION - 108 FLOORING WORKS

Providing and fixing 1st quality Ceramic wall tiles confirming to IS 15622 in approved shade and colour of size 300mmx300mm as approved by Engineer-in-charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (using coarse sand), setting the tiles in cement slurry and pointing the joints with matching colour tile grout compound of matching shade including using PVC Tile Trim in the exposed corners, complete as per drawings, patterns all as per Technical specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 50 mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardner topping under layer 38 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 and top layer 12mm thick wearing surface with metallic floor hardner, cement being mixed with metallic floor hardner of approved quality and make in the ratio of 4:1 (4 cement and 1 metallic floor hardner) by weight and this cement hardner compound mixed with 6mm down graded stone aggregate in the ratio of 1:2 by volume including providing and fixing 30X3 mm glass strip,This includes cost of cement slurry,finishing to the required finishing and cleaning neatly while handing over the areas etc. complete as per specifications and drawings.

Providing and laying IPS cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 screened river sand/ crushed stone sand :4 aggregate of size 12 mm), 50 mm thick in panels of approved size or as shown in drawings including all leads and lifts, mixing by machine, finished smooth to the require level, finishing with a floating coat of neat cement including cement slurry, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area complete including providing aluminium strip of size 40 x 3 mm thick at every panel of size 1.5m x 1.5m all complete as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Vaccum dewatering of the flooring and cost of supplying and providing aluminium strips for dividing panels will be paid seperately under relevent item.

Vacuum dewatering of existing freshly laid concrete of all grades/IPS/Hardonite or other specified areas of flooring as per drawing and finish with power trowel etc., complete as per technical specification and as directed by EIC.

Making of 10 mm*15 mm size grooves in VDF/Hardonite/ IPS/ RCC flooring at all levels using machine having diamond cutting wheels and filling the groove using Fosroc Colpar 200 or equivalaent approved make, as per the manufacturer specifications. The cost includes all charges for the labour, machinery, materials, tools for cleaning, primer before application of sealant, lapping tape, sealant, water, electricity etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing and fixing 10mm thick flooring with acid and alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour as per IS4457 using acid and/or alkali resistant mortar bedding and joints filled with acid and/or alkaliresisting Epoxy for 5 to 8mm depth over a bed of Bitumastic compound 8 to 10mm layer and bitumastic primer complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge In flooring over a bed of minimum 10mm thick acid proof mortar with acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of size 300X300X10mm of approved colour including providing required slopes and levels (this work to be carried out through approved specialized agency) complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

SECTION - 109 JOINERY & METAL WORK

Providing and fixing fully flush type Hollow metal Steel door including frame and shutter at all levels. Pressed Galvanized steel conforming to IS 277, Single / Double / Triple leaved which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below : Door frame shall be single rebate profile of size 100 x 57 mm with bending radius of 1.2 mm having 1.60 mm thick galvanized steel sheet (14 gauge). Steel door shutter of 46 mm thick, fully flush, double skin door shall be manufactured from 1.20 mm thick galvanized steel sheet (16 gauge). The stile edges to be lock seamed with no weld marks. The infill material shall be resin bonded honey comb Kraft paper with thermal insulation. Door frames and shutter shall be finished with etched primer coating, stoved zinc phosphate primer (35 microns DFT) and thermosetting polyurethane aliphtic grade paint (35 micron DFT) of approved colour. Rate shall include for supply and fix 3 mm thick base plates, all joints of frames with provision for anchor fastner fixing to wall / RCC surface, reinforcement pad for fixing of door closers, aldrops, tower bolts factory finish, provision for slots for mortise locks, for pre-punched cut outs to receive hardwares and iron mongery, 3 mm thick hinge plates predrilled to receive hinges for screw mounted fixing all as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1)Payment for hinges, Aldrop, tower bolt, door clouser, vision pannel, locks if any, will be paid seperately under relevant item 2)Rate shall also include for grouting the frame with cement mortar(1:3) at the joints between wall & frame to the required thickness as per manufacture’s specifications. (Wherever steel louvers are provided on the door, the corresponding area of steel louvers area will be deducted from the measurement of hollow metal steel door area. The aluminium louvers shall be paid under seperate item in the schedule.) Rate quoted shall also include for grouting the frame with cement at the joints between wall & frame to the required thickness as per manufacture’s specifications.

Cost including preparation of the surfaces, erection of double tubular scaffolding, all leads and lifts, labour charges etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing, painting, finishing external walls with two coats of Premium Acrylic smooth exterior paint on sand face plaster / plain plaster & concrete surfaces with Silicone additives (APEX ULTIMA of Asian paints or Weathershield max of M/s. Nerolac make) of required shade ( each coat applied @ minimum1.43 ltr / 10 sqm) over and above a base coat of water proofing cement paint to be applied @ minimum 2.20 kg / 10 sqm including preparation of the surfaces, including erection of double tubular scafolding complete all as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and painting two coats on steel surfaces with synthetic enamel paint of approved make and required colour to give an even shade over a coat of zinc chromate primer (total three coats) Coat including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) All external/internal painting works will have to be done with erecting double tubular steel scaffolding only. No jhoola/Bhada shall be permitted. All rates quoted in the above painting items shall include erection of double tubular scafolding and provision of safety measures like safety belts, eye protection gears, etc.

Providing, applying 'RENOVO" synthetic plastering over existing Plastered / Concrete surface to the Thickness Specified by the manufacturer, to the pattern / design specified in the drawings or by the Engineer in charge, and top coat of Exterior emulsion Two Or More Coats of approved colour and shade, complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Project Engineer.( This work to be executed by the specialised approved agency)

SECTION - 111 WINDOWS & GLAZING

Providing and fixing COMPOSITE SLIDING WINDOW 3 - track of M/s NCL Seccolor fabricated from roll formed sections made of Galvanized Steel colour Coated (Coated Sections should be with primer coat of Epoxy Primer 5-7 microns thick, finished paint with a Polyester Paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with Alkyd backer of 5-7 microns)(Base Steel as per lS 513 "D" quality, Galvanized as per lS 277 with Zinc of 120 grams /Sq.Mtr.) and the section for external frame bottom of 101 x 25mm (Aluminium), External frame sides & Top of 101 x 25 mm (Aluminium), section for shutter of 59 x 23mm and Lap Strip of 30 x 7.5mm (UPVC) cut to length and mitre joined with L-bracket and 6 mm plain float Glass with Ethyl Propylene Diamine Monomer (EPDM) gasket, the corner bracket for external frame made of Aluminium ' L Angle, Corner Bracket for internal frame made of Polypropylene, Crescent Latch, Rollers, & EPDM Gaskets for shutters, wool pile for lap strip, Bump Stop Base & Rubber for shutter stopper including fixing to brick/concrete masonry using Nylon self-expanding caps and driving MS electroplated 80mm long screws into the caps through frames and fixing 10mm square guard bars with 6" pitch centre to centre (152.4mm) and all taxes completed for finished item of work.

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment With Average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc. consisting of following operations: (i) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement by pump using 2.75 Kgs / sq.m of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 over RCC slab including adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (ii) Providing and laying 20 mm thick plastering using cement mortar 1:5 (with coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding (Vatta) of junctions of walls and slabs. The entire surface shall be ponded with water for a period of 3 days and observe for leakage if any. In case of any leakage observed, the effected area shall be sealed by grouting with cement and further leakage to be checked for again. (iii) Laying brick bats set in cement mortar 1:5 using broken brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding (Vatta) of junctions of walls and slabs. The entire surface shall be ponded with water for a period of 10 days and observe for leakage if any. In case of any leakage observed, the effected area shall be sealed by grouting with cement and further leakage to be checked for again. (iv) After 10 days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

(v) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixing ''polyster fibre of approved make' at the rate of 125 grams per 50 Kgs of Cement in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300 X 300 mm square, 3 mm deep. (vi) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 2 weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order, complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall provide 10 year guarantee for waterproofing on approved proforma.

SECTION - 114 ELECTRICAL WORKS

Supply and installation of 25mm dia MS conduit with accessories of 50mm dia junction box (1/2/3/4), coupler, T joints, bends, etc as per site requirment. Bare copper conductor of 14 Swg is to be run all along conduit. The copper conductor has to be coupled with junction bobxes with screw and nut. It has to be dropped to flush boxes and connected to the same. Complete item of work as per Technical specification TSS-01 and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Supply and installation of 25mm dia MS conduit with accessories of 50mm dia junction box (1/2/3/4), coupler, T joints, bends, etc as per site requirment. Complete item of work as per Technical specification TSS-02 and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Supply and installation of Aluminium trunking of size 100mm*50mm adaptable trunking with cover , flat angle etc as required to complete the work in all respect as per Technical specification TSS-03 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and installation of fan hook box as per Technical specification TSS-04 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and installation of following metal flush box as per Technical specification TSS-05 and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

2 modular metal flush box

3 modular metal fush box

4 modular metal flush box

Supply and installation of metal flush box for 20A metal socket and plug as per Technical specification TSS-06 and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
