NOTE -1 :- SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway/taxi track/Tarmac & similar location. Site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when Runway/Taxi Track or other location will made available by GE/Engineer-in-Charge after consultation with users, due to contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly. No claim whatsoever, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates.

NOTE -2 :- Work will be executed in different location for repair of small portions/patches in and around airfiled. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates.

M&L for complete removal of old paint from concrete pavement / black bituminous pavements / plastered surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moules, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots, and.......

......applying two coats (Single pack), Air drying, Acrylic Water based Road Marking Paint of any tint and any colour as approved in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, thickness of each coat not less than 25 micron, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment of old surface of external surfaces of walls including brooming down / steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, mould, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots and cleaning with water on wall and preparation of surfaces by applying a coat of thin layer of wall care putty and applying 2 coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint in normal pattern/camouflage pattern , over a coat of primer as per manufacturers instructions etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for preparation & complete removal of old painted surface from steel surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, mouls, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots and applying two coats of polyurethane paint of any tints and any colour as approved in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M & L for Taking down Nylon netting for bird proofing of any size, any thickness and any position including fixing material such as clamps, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

S & F bird proof net of polyolefin all weather proof polymer machine knotting using shines for antislip netting dia of the net 1mm, mesh size 20mm-25mm (+/-2mm) square mesh with mesh making strength 18 kgf of colour black as per specification including fixing with accessories fixing material required for installation to steel structure, trusses/purlin / tie beams, rafters such as clamps, nut and bolts including washers etc including taking down and fixing bird proofing net to Soft pens /Blast pens all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Make :- Srijian system Pvt Ltd or Ruparel Nets Pvt .Ltd as approved by GE in writing. Note :- (i) Contractor shall submit five years life guarantee for bird proof net on stamp paper of appropriate value, contractor shall also submit security deposit amount i.e 5% of executed amount of bird proof netting in the form of FDR or same shall be retained from FB.
