Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m in depth and not exceeding 1.5m wide for pipe and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m in depth and not exceeding 1.5m wide for cable/pipe and getting out in hard rock/Road/PCC hard standing and making the disturbed surfaces good same as existing before excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in(soil), including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials(soil) not exceeding 50M, depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling taking out GI/MS pipe from PCC support/Trenches for repair/replacement/relaying for bore of pipe 150 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and testing of 150 mm dia medium grade MS ERW pipe alongwith specials on PCC support or on trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Only flanges will be measured as supply only whereas all the specials required to make unit functional is deemed to be incuded in the above rate

M&L for relaying of GI pipe above after proper cleaning, descalling and fixing to original position for bore of pipe 150 mm including necessary rubber gusket, nuts, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for flange joint suitable for MS pipe line of 150mm dia including new MS flange of thickness 10mm welded to MS pipe line including provision of Neoprin rubber gasket nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for attending break down of pipe line bursting/cracks and including cleaning/removal of broken pipe pieces of various lengths through gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement and including inserting necessary specials such as pipes etc as per site requirement, testing for leakages of testing and necessary dewatering by using necessary pumps, mechanical excavator complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge for the bore of GI pipe upto 150mm. Note 1:- The quoted rate is deemed to be include the following:- (i) Arrangement of suitable pump sets for dewatering at the time of breakdown. (ii) Necessary labour/trade men for attending break down . (iii) Labour element required for fixing CI/DI/MS pipes, specials fittings Note 2:-CI/DI/MS Pipes and specials will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.Items which are not available as supply only are deemed to be included to make the unit completely functional

Labour only for attending break down of pipe line of 200/300/400mm bore, bursting/cracks and including cleaning/removal of broken pipe pieces of various lengths through gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement and including inserting necessary specials such as pipes MS/CI collar etc as per site requirement, testing and arresting leakages of lead joints, testing and necessary dewatering by using necessary pumps, mechanical excavator complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-change for the following sizes:- Note :- The quoted rate is deemed to be include (i) arrangement of suitable pump sets for dewatering at the time of breakdown. (ii) Necessary labour/trade men for attending emmergency break down . (iii) labour element required for fixing CI/DI/MS pipes, specials fittings (iv) All earth work to carry out manually as well mechanical excavator and keep mechanical excavator stand by till completion of work

Supply and fix DI Mechanical Joint 150 mm incl both end rubber gusket and nuts,bolts assy complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fix, install test and commissioning CI sluice valve flanged type 150 mm dia PN 1.6 fitted with hand wheel including fixing to pipe line with gusket, nuts, bolts and washers complete including taking out old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismatling of foundation PCC, taking out from pump house, carrying to dumping yard inside ND (V) and necessary cleaning of work site all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type B1, (1:2:4) with 20mm graded agreegate in foundation, filling in and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M& L for painting to MS pipe line with one coats of coal tar epoxy paint complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for painting to new/exsting steel surfaces any dia of MS pipe line with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of coal tar epoxy paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

(iv) Cost of all consumables, diesel / oil filters etc., required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls endering 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work even smooth an of water supply cope points/supports smooth as existing and applying three coats of white wash and applying synthetic enamel black paint after cleaning the debris and vegetation etc per month complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for painting to external surface of MS pipe line/steel sections with one coats of epoxy red oxide and two coats of coal tar epoxy black complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of cope points at top of jetty with one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed

Labour for visual inspection of pipe line at marine jetty,inside gallery at old dockyard and arresting temporarily by closing the nearby valves,reporting any leakage inside jetty gallery by providing one pipe line fitter and two helpers complete all as specified and directed

Attending water leakage fresh water cope point complaints upto 50mm GI pipe at any location inside jetty area and replacing the spares , where ever required and restore the water supply all as directed. Note : Replacement of new GI fittings up to 50mm in place of U/S one included in the unit rate quoted.

Comprehensive maintenance for diesel engine driven generating pumpset by carrying out routine 'A' check of the engine complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed for upto 82.5bhpincluding to ensure its satisfactory performance:- Note: Quoted Rates are deemed to be for carrying out A checks as under. (a) Checking the fan belt and adjusting tension (b) Checking the fuel and oil filter (c) Checking the air filter including cleaning and refixing (d) Checking of FIP oil level (e) Tightening the base bolts and nuts (f) Checking the coupling bolts and adjustment checking the self starter and Dynamo

(g) Checking the battery distilled water levels and topping upto the required level. (h) Checking the panels (Manual as well as AMF) attached to the DG set for loose connections, defects if any in the panel Board and replacement of spares all as directed. (i) Checking the anti vibration mounting and adjusting the bolt (j) Checking the radiator and radiator hose and arresting leak if any (k) Checking the engine oil level and topping upto the required level (r) Checking the cleanliness of DG set and cleaning properly in and out of dg set around an area covering 50 mtrs (s) Checking for any leakages after proper inspection and arresting immediately

NOTE:- (i) Control switches , MCCB's, contactors, multi display meters , Engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted sha

ll be exlusive for servicing/ maintenance of the above item of work. (ii) Servicing of DG set alongwith connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including 'A' check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every month (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenenace period and shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenence / breakdown repairs as and when required in that period except in case of major repairs. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be inluded in the rate quoted . (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

Maintenance and servicing of following Diesel Generator sets by carrying out routine 'B' check of the engine including items covered in 'A' check complete for smooth functiuning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed for upto 82.5 bhp installed at 20Mout and DSC block EOC jetty Note: Quoted Rates are deemed to be for carrying out B checks as under. (a) Change oil (b) Change oil filter,fuel filter,bypass filter,air filter (c) Change water seperator

(d) Radiator cleaning with chemical (e ) Check all electrical terminals (f) Check for turbo charger and service (g) Check for injector pin and service (h) Check for cylinder head and service (i) Check for pt pump and service NOTE:- (i) Control switches , MCCB's, contactors, multi display meters , Engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall be exlusive for servicing/ maintenance of the above item of work.

(ii) 'B' check shall be carried out once in every six months or 250 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier. Servicing of DG Set alonwith connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including items covered in 'A' check of the Engine shall also be carried out in that month as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG Set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance / breakdown repairs as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs. (iii) Spare parts , engine oil and radiator coolant oil required during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid seperatly at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

M&L for servicing, maintenance, repair, overhauling of pump from 60bhp -82.5bhp after dismantling , opening of complete pump, checking/replacement of bearings, shaft ,impeller,sleeve, lantern ring, gland with bolts at both end, main shaft complete, re-assemble pump with gusket, nuts, bolts and washers, greasing all bearings, reinstall at pump base, connection with motor coupling, making proper alignment with required nuts,bolts,washers complete all as specified and directed

All as per item No. 33.00 above, but of size 20hp

M&L for rewinding of Motor 60hp -82.5 hp after dismatling taking out from pump set base, transportation to civil workshop outside ND(V), opening of complete motor, dismatling stator/rotor, rewinding the complete stator of motor with existing size of super enameled copper wire as per existing turn, heating, vernishing, replacement of both end bearing, Connecton plate, Connection terminals with new copper lugs for all 06 terminal, re-assemble, transport back to ND (V), reinstall at pump base, connection with pump coupling, making proper alignment , testing for satisfactory run complete all as specified and directed . Preventive maintenance for Fresh water Pump set by carrying out routine check of the Pump and motor complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed for 06nos installed at FWPH including attending to under mentioned jobs to ensure its satisfactory performance Contractor has to deploy sufficient manpower experienced Pump and motor technicians at the worksite to attend the breakdown calls received from representatives ,preventive maintenance for the entire duration of contract.It is the contractors responsibility to make the unit functional and sufficient stock of spares shall be maintained to rectify the breakdown within scheduled period. Cleaning, stacking, sorting, handling and upkeeping of maintenance shall be carried out by contractor

Note:- (i)Items require for replacement such as Panel Meters, indicator lamps, CT will be measured and paid seperately as supply only. Pump starters measured as S&F(ii) required cleaning items,Panel Meters, indicator lamps aluminium cable lugs, nuts-bolts-washers, door hinges, door locks, door/cover knobs, bakelite fuse base with HRC fuse, panel wiring circuits shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (iii) ACB/busbar will be measured and paid as supply and fix. (iv) Servicing/maintenance of ACBs measured seperatelly where ever applicable.
