Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of maintenance free earthing system consisting of copper bonded steel rod shall have minimum 17 mm dia of maximum possible lengths . low carbon high tensile steel molecularly bonded with 99.9% pure electrolytic grade copper thickness of minimum 250 microns for earth mat (at 750mm to 1000mm deep as per approved drawing and as directed) as per specifications and shall be confirming to IEC 62561-2. All cross joints shall be welded by exothermic welding as per IEEE 837 and extension joints shall be used by couplers. Risers from earth mat to be brought out as per approved drawings and specifications inlcuding the testlinks (boxes, connectors etc). (Cost of risers, exothermic welding are not included in this item) with all excavations,boring , backfilling as required to complete the works

All joints shall be welded by exothermic welding as per IEEE 837. Vertical Electrode shall be as per approved drawings and specifications. (Cost of risers, exothermic welding are not included in this item).including all excavations,boring , backfilling as required to complete the works

Supply, laying, testing of an Earth Enhancement Compound . An earth enhancement material shall be RoHS tested by NABL accredited lab in compliance to IEC 62561-7 with a resistivity not more than 0.12 ohm-m. It shall be a 95% carbon based material and shall be free from bentonite and other hazardous substances. An earth enhancing compound shall be tested as per IEC 62561-7 for Leaching Test, Corrosion Test, and Resistivity Test & Sulphur Test. It shall be a permanent, non-corrosive material and will not leach any chemicals into the ground. It shall retain moisture even in high soil resistivity areas.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of an exothermic welding jointing material to make permanent buried earthing joints of an earth mat. An exothermic welding shall be suitable for Straight, tee, cross & riser drawings. An exothermic weld Mould shall be suitable for type of joints. It shall withstand min. 60 Nos. of same type of joints at a time. An Exothermic welding powder shall be copper based material. An exothermic welding shall meet the requirements of IEEE 837.

Extra for bituminous coating and hessian tape wrap or polyethylene faced hessian complete for buried 50mm x 6mm or 75mm x 6mm strip as per specifications and drawings as required

Supply Installation testing & Commissioning of 50x 6mm Copper bonded steel (CBS) Strip/ bimetallic strips (GI and Copper combination)(Riser) to be used to interconnect Earthing grid with MET. It shall be In compliance with IEC 62561-2. (pigtail risers only)
