Providing and laying 150/300mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Providing & Laying 30 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top , cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing and laying first coat surface dressing, including rolling with road roller etc. complete including cost of bitumen VG-10 grade using aggregate 13mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen VG-10, 0.10 MT per hundred square metre. Clause 509 of MoRT&H specification.(5th edition ) 2013 (NS).

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Supply collection and carriage if First class brick 22.86cm x11.11cmx6.86cm from approved kiln to site of work shall be made from good brick earth conforming to 3.5 of Haryana PWD specification 1990 edition in stacks of 50 bricks length, 2 bricks width and 10 bricks height parallel to the center line of the road Bricks shall be free from saline deposits and shall be sand molded. They shall be thoroughly brunt without vitrified and shall have uniform deep red, cherry or copper colour. They shall be regular and uniform in shape and size with sharp and squares arise and parallel faces. They must be homogeneous in texture and emit a clear ringing sound on being struck. They shall be free flaws, cracks , chops, stones, nodules or lime or kankar and other blemishes complete as per Haryana PWD specification No. 3.5.1990 First Edition.(NS)

Laying brick on end edging length-wise 22.86 cm deep and 6.83 cm wide including excavation of earth and refilling the excavated soil and compacting along brick edging complete in all respect with other than brick soiling. {HSR 24.6 (b)}

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Dismantling of existing CC block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or desired by Engineer (NS)

Relaying of C.C. Block over 25mm thick fine sand including transportation from road side where stacked excluding cost of CC blocks and complete in all respect as per specifications. [N.S.]

Manufacturing, supplying and laying of precast cement concrete rectangular block (0.45 M x 0.30 M x 0.15 M ) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 Kg/ per cum with digital batching plant duly compacted with table vibration including setting in position over bed prepared with 25mm thick fine sand and filling up the joints with fine sand (NS).

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including construction of R. C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. Providing and fixing of sign board on the gantry as provided in item No 32 above, of size 2.40m X 1.22m of non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67 - 2012 Type IV specification fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on one side.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 of MORT&H specification.

Providing and fixing hand rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded with fastemer and nuts. MS vertical plates and pipes, 65mm dia etc. as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. All the railing components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the work as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (N.S.)

Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in Table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing anti-skid surface with bitumen pre coated fine graned hard stone chipping of 13.2mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at and approximate spacing of 10cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces in not less than 100c, protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 515.

Providing and fixing Helical pipes in voided concrete slabs complete as per drawing and tehnical specifications as per clause 1700 & 1800 of MoRT&H specification (NS)

Providing and laying of filter media with granular meterial / stone crushed aggregate satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 and clause 309.3.2 (Table 300-3) of MORT&H specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specifications 710.1.4 of IRC:78 and 2200(MORT&H No. 13.10)

Back filling involving excavation of local sand carriage with an av. Lead & lift with in 5 km filling in 25 cm layers watering & compacting complete to theentire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of bricks on end edging have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) on approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under :- Bituminous material @ Rs. 1174.50/- per Cum

Brick @ Rs. 4.50/- each

Brick bats @ Rs. 400/- per cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be not measurement after actual scarifying and if material after scarifying is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- i) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any non-schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that N.S. item as per prectice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
