TERM CONTRACT FOR ARTIFICER WORKS AT AHMEDABAD UNDER AGE B/R GANDHINAGAR

To perform under term contract such services and execute such works on the terms and conditions contained or referred in the "MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2009 Part-I Specifications and MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part-II rates together with errata/ amendments as applicable and upon the conditions contained in tender documents as may be demanded and as are enumerated in the aforesaid standard schedule of rates during the period of one year from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES standard schedule of rates. OR At such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of "General conditions of contracts (IAFW-2249)" 1989 print with errata/ amendments as applicable. Note :- (i) Tenderer shall insert percentage rate at corresponding Column of this BOQ. (ii) Tenderer shall refer and select the option excess (+) or less (-) available at Column 5 of this BOQ to quote the percentage above/below MES Standarad Schedule of rates. The percentage quoted by tenderer shall be made applicable for acceptance while publishing the acceptance letter. (iii) Amount inserted by the MES under rate Col and the total amount reflected in the page is a rough guidence and for referece only. Similarly the quoted amount works out (based on percentage rate quoted by contractor) shall also be treated as rough and reference only. The acceptace contractor offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate on MES standard schedule of rates. The works orders for various works / services shall be placed for amount worked out /priced on the rates contained in MES standard schedule of rates Part-II duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by thecontractor. (iv) Contractor special attention is invited to condition "4(A) Works to be carried out (Applicable only to term contracts)" and condition "56 Termination of contrct (Applicabel only to term contracts)" of "General conditions of contracts (IAFW-2249)". The provisions of these conditions of "General conditions of contracts (IAFW 2249) are strict to be followed. (v) It is express condition of this contract that the amount of total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extant irrespective of the amount works out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES standard schedule of rates 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done/work done.
