The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant IS/BS Standards design.

Note :- (i). The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of oil and final successful acceptance test and foundation of DG Set as per norms/manufacturer's instruction. (ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site as specified in PS in presence E/M Offr detailed by accepting officer, all testing arrangements/ equipments diesel shall be made available by the contractor for tests . (iii) The complete DG Set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to the GE. (iv) Anything missed out above but technically required for efficient working of DG Set is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

(a) Scope of Supply - Diesel engine shall be 4 Cylinder, water cooled, developing 42 BHP at 1500 RPM, Liquid cooled Diesel engine consisting of Fly Wheel with starter ring, Lub Oil filter, Air cleaner, Residential Silencer, 12V starting system with starter, alternator charging ammeter, expansion bellows, Lub Oil cooler, Lub Oil filter, Centrifugal bypass filter, radiator, radiator fan and mounting, In-line monoblock fuel pump with governor, Battery charging alternator, engine control panel consisting of OFF/ON/START switch keys, lub oil pressure gauge, lub oil temp, gauge, Liquid temp. gauge, charging ammeter, engine protection system for low lub oil pressure and high Liquid temp, 12V stop solenoid with mounting. (c) ALTERNATOR: 25 KVA, 20 KW, 3 phase, 415V, 0.8.p.f, 4 wire 50hz at 1500 - RPM self - excited and self-regulated alternator. The voltage regulation will be +/-1% (for Brushless type).The insulation system is class “H”. The alternators are designed, built and tested to IS 4722/1992. BS 5000 part 99, IEC: 34 -1 or any other equivalent Indian or international standards. (d) BASE FRAME Base frame is fabricated in formed sheet metal, primer coated and painted. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting Kirloskar/KOEL engine and KG brush less alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame is having provision of lifting hook for conveninent lifting to complete set.

d) Acoustic Enclosure Type Approved acoustic Enclosure. Kirloskar i GREEN Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent cano py shall be of nut bolt type construction. Critical processes of punching is done on CNC machines to maintain dimensional accuracy of holes within 0.1 mm. Power coating is done after seven-tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE-RETARDANT foam as acoustic material. Four hinged doors shall be provided to canopy, one door shall have glass window for Engine control panel. Sound level will be 75 dB at a distance of one meter on free field conditions as per CPCB norms. The base plate & top is powder coated / painted with OXFORD BLUE / PEPSI BLUE, the canopy is powder coated / painted with IVORY colour.

((f) Surface Treatment-Painting The enclosure surface shall be suitably treated for degreasing, degusting and phosphate. The canopies are passed through seven-tank treatment thoroughly. Performance Parameters (g) The average sound level, when measured in green field condition (ISO 3744 or 8528 PT 10) at 1-meter distance from all four sides shall be less than 75 db averages or as per CPCB norms.  The average stabilized hot air temperature rise with in the canopy is maintained with in 10o C over and above ambient temperature.

(f) Fuel Tank :Fuel tank shall be fabricated out of 16SWG CRCA MS sheet and duly painted and fitted with inlet and outlet connections with a capacity of not less than 65 Ltrs (g) Battery with leads: Exide/Prestolite/Amron make dry uncharged - 1 Nos, 12V battery with leads capacity designed by manufacturer and terminals including 3 year minimum warranty.

(k) AMF Panel : Panel shall be confirm to IS 8623 and built with the following items: - (a) 40 Amps, 4 pole contractor for Alternator. (b) 40 A, 4 pole duty contractor for FB mains (c) Microprocessor based AMF module for DG panel. (d) Emergency stop (e) Multifunction V, A, PF, KW, KWH Meter with CRT suitable capacity, 15 VA, Class 1. (f) A 64A to 80 A Aluminium bus bar. (g) 40 Amps, TP MCCB (2 Nos) + Nil for EB & DG Incomers. (h) Fault indications and CT indicatiors for DG on, Load on, Load on DG, Main on, Load on Mains.

Four hinged doors with rubber binding and stainless steel door locks shall be provided to canopy. The hot chamber of the canopy is properly insulated by mineral wool and aluminum foil to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator. The base plate & top is powder coated / painted with OXFORD BLUE / PEPSI BLUE, the canopy is powder coated / painted with IVORY colour.
