M&L for attending 'B' check of DG set of capacity 63 kVA (Make : Greaves) at different locations to carry out maintenance/servicing as given below once during the contract period as ordered including testing on completion of the following complete all as directed:- (i) Check and clean engine, alternator battery, instrument panel, AMF panel, Timer, Contactors, Meters and others etc. (ii) Tightening of all nuts & bolts of DG set and its accessories. (iii) Check for any diesel leakage from any point and rectify if observed. (iv) Check and adjust fan belt tension, replace the fan belts if found damaged. (v) Check leakage of smoke from exhaust system/ silencer, Repair if required. (vi) Check electrical connections of engine. The wiring shall be maintained properly and engine starting system from engine instrument panel shall be kept in order. Check bearing & shaft for machining if required. Re-assemble stator & rotor by replacing existing bearings with new bearings complete. Back transportation alternator to base and coupled with engine by using new rubber bushing spider, nut bolts complete. Testing the system for smooth functioning & checking current and load output by giving existing electrical load to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for maintenance of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) of rating up to 630 Amp of Make Havells/ Legrand/ L&T complete by taking the shut down with prior intimation & permission of Engineer-in-Charge and disconnecting incoming and outgoing connections, refixing the same after complete maintenance, replacement of fuses, tripping mechanism, tripping coils, pole assembly, control unit, auxiliary switch, incoming and outgoing connections and replacement of overheated/ faulty portion of control circuit wiring as per above mentioned make as and when as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Necessary spare parts required replacement shall be replaced only after prior inspection & approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Spares required for repairing/ servicing of ATS shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’ under relevant items of this Schedule 'A' (BoQ). S&F in repairs HT HRC type fuse, rating 40/63 Amp of HT Oil Switch complete by taking the shut down with prior intimation & permission of Engineer-in-Charge and opening the Oil chamber of HT switch gear and cleaning the contacts put the fuse in position and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: L&T/ Bussmann/ CG Lucy or equivalent as approved by GE.

M&L for servicing of LT ACB of rating up to 630 Amp, 415 Volt, 50 Hz of any make complete by taking the shut down with prior intimation & permission of Engineer-in-Charge and cleaning the ACB by using air blower, tightening of connection of control circuit and complete checking of all fuses and control circuit for smooth functioning by employing one skilled tradesman as and when required including consisting of following :- (a) Checking the control circuit wiring and rectifying the same with new rewiring with proper size and colour code where required at site. (b) Checking the components for replacement such as Shunt release, UV release, ammeter, voltmeter, etc. c) Resetting and testing of relay setting for proper functioning.

S&F in repair copper bus bar of rating as per required at site, with supporting insulator duly fitted in PVC insulated sleeve in existing panel with requisite in shape and size required at site for fixing the bus bar at existing panel complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair 1100 Volt grade flexible single core cable with tinned copper stranded conductor PVC insulated and sheathed of cross sectional area 240 Sqmm (ISI marked) including copper lugs at both ends and all accessories required as per the site requirement including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting/ Taking out the existing Servo stabilizer transformer from site for repairing and transporting to workshop for servicing and repairing, including loading, unloading and handling to carry out repairs and refixing the same after repairing, installation, testing and commissioning at its original/ new location as ordered, decanting the transformer oil and checking of all parts for repair/ replacement of parts of 100 to 300 kVA capacity of servo controlled stabilizers 440 V, 3 Phase, AC 50 Hz, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Necessary spare parts required replacement shall be replaced only after prior inspection & approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Spares required for repairing/ servicing of Servo stabilizer transformer shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule 'A' (BoQ). (iii) Fixing rate of the spares including testing is deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate of this item. (iv) Unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for minor spares/extras. The decision of Accepting officer regarding minor spares/extras shall be final, conclusive and binding.

M&L for preparation of external surfaces of Servo stabilizer transformer of capacity upto 300 KVA including cleaning and removing oil spots from the body and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (first quality) of approved tint with gun sprayer including marking of SM/MES No etc. on body with synthetic enamel paint (white) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for filtration / dehydration of old/existing transformer oil including topping up of transformer oil as required in the Servo stabilizer transformers of different capacity, installed at various locations with suitable capacity of filtration machine to achieve dielectric strength minimum 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule.
