Renovation of power factor correction system: Dismantling of defective components like capacitors, relays, contactors, indication lights, etc. from APFC panels, fixed capacitors of motors and static capacitor banks of transformers including dismantling of terminations, wirings, hardware as required at site.

Supply of Super Heavy duty Round type capacitors of various capacities rated at 440V, 50 Hz., 3 phase AC complete with terminal cover and discharge device-make EPCOS/TDK

Banking of capacitor units to form banks of suitable capcity by electrical interconnection with multistrand copper wires/AI. Bus bars using necessary mountings and hardware, etc. as required at site

Supply of 50 kVAr capacitor duty contactors-make L&T/EPCOS/TDK

Supply of 20 kVAr capacitor duty contactors-make L&T/EPCOS/TDK

Supply of Fuse & Fuse base 400 A for static capacitor of motors-make L&T/Schneider/Havells

Supply of microprocessor based APFC relay with digital display of power factor and other parameters-make EPCOS

Supply of ON/OFF push buttons with NO and NC contacts for manual operation of APFC panel-make FTC/Vaishno/Standard

Supply of indication lights of various coolers-make FTC/Standard

Installation and connection of various components as described above in APFC panels and static/fixed capacitor banks using necessary hardware, mounting arrangement and termination with multistrand copper wires, lugs and tapes etc. as required at site

Servicing of capacitors banks including dusting, cleaning of all parts like contactors, capacitors terminals, bus bars and control & power wiring terminations, tightening of nuts/bolts and alignment of doors etc. as required at site

Testing of APFC panels and static capacitor/fixed capacitor banks of motors and static capacitor banks of transformers as per required parameters including following: (i). Continuity and earth test. (ii). Meggering of all equipment's for phase to phase, Phase to neutral and phase to earth. (iii). All function tests.

Comprehensive annual maintenance of following Capacitor banks: 01. 610 kVAr APFC panels: 02 nos. 02. 120 kVAr APFC panels: 01 no. 03. Fixed capacitor bank of 140 kVAr of 500: 01 no. 04. Fixed capacitor banks of 140 kVAr of 550 HP motor: 01 no. 05. Fixed capacitor bank of 120 kVAr of 300 HP motors: 03 nos. 06. Static capacitor bank of 120 kVAr of Transformers: 02 nos. AMC will include regular visits of our Engineer to the site to monitor power factor and to repair/replace defective parts during the AMC period.
