SPL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT TO BER DG SETS AT NAA UNDER GE (N) TEZPUR

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of diesel engine driven generating set outdoor type 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire as per BS 5514/IS-10002 as per existing CPCB-IV norms complete with standard control panel, of capacity continuous rating 82.5 KVA/66 KW at NTP conditions with acoustic enclosure and canopy cover considering all derating factors and comprising of the following :- (a) ALTERNATOR : Self regulated with brushless self excitation 82.5 KVA, 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 0.8 P.F.,1500 RPM, with voltage variation plus or minus 2.5% of rated voltage from no-load to full-load foot mounted, screen protected drip proof type with class 'F' insulation, closed coupled single bearing alternator, with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers, conforming to BS-5000/IS-4772, capable of supplying unbalanced load. (b) ENGINE : Multi/cylinder,compression ignition, heavy duty,compact diesel engine liquid cooled with standard accessories, all as per BS-5514/ISO-3046,1500 RPM,control gauges, RPM/Hours meters etc; shaft H.P. suitable for generating application and capable of giving an output of 82.5 KVA/66 KW for coupled alternator under NTP conditions, complete with following:- (i) Flywheel housing with flywheel to suit closed coupled single bearing alternator. (ii) Air-cleaner dry type with vacuum indicator. (iii) Fuel pump and fuel piping. (iv) Fuel filter with water separator and filter element. (v) Lub-oil filter with filter element (vi) D.C. starter 12 volts. (vii) Storage Batteries of suitable voltage and ampere-hours as recommended by the manufacturers. (viii) Residential silencer as per existing CPCB IV norms (ix) Supporting/fixing arrangement for muffler with celiling through antivibration pads. (x) Engine overspeed stop/trip switch. (xi) Radiator with fan. (xii) Dynamo for battery charging.

(xiii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant. (xiv) Engine control panel electronic digital display type consisting of battery voltage indicator, lub oil temp and pressure gauges coolant water temp gauge, RPM indicator cum hour meter etc. (xv) Safety controls for alarm due to high water temp (HWT) and low lub oil pressure (LLOP). (xvi) Any other devices/accessories recommended/supplied by the manufacturers as standard eqpt. (c) SKID : The engine and alternator will be coupled,aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from M.S. channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads of required size and numbers as recommended by the manufacturers for mounting of 82.5 KVA/66 KW DG set. (d) AMF PANEL : AMF panel shall be of suitable size factory outdoor cubical type front openable fabricated from CRCA steel sheet complete as per manufacturer specification of Diesel Engine suitable for DG Set of capacity 82.5 KVA in all respects. Notes :- (i) Contractor will satisfactorily conduct load test of DG set for 12 hours including run on 10% overload for 1 hour. (ii) Testing equipment will be arranged by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contractor.. (iii) Fuel/oil required for load test shall be arranged by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contractor. (iv) AMF panel and DG set shall be procured from same OEM/ OEM recommeded make. (v) DG set shall be tested by the representative of Accepting Officer before commisioning and cost thereof deemed to be included in quoted rates. (vi) The foundation of DG set shall be provided as per manufacturer's drawing / instructions and quoted rate shall deemed to be included for this provision and nothing extra shall be admmisible on this account. (vii) Contractor shall submit e-way bill, Purchase Voucher, Test certificate/ Test report etc alongwith payment.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connected to GI earth strip size of 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I connected to earth test point all as specified or indicated including excavation and connected earth work, in soft/loose soil, removing soil upto 50m, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 as in pit, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering pipe, 40mm bore GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover slab of earth pit reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT Bars @ 75mm C/C both ways and with handle made out of 12mm dia bars, funnel, strainer, alternate layer of charcoal dust and common salt and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.
