REMOVAL OF OLD CGI SHEETS ETC. Proper protection to be provided to 33 KV HT cable . Chipping the wall and cut the old rusted nut bolts . Removal of old rusted CGI sheet of length 21 inch . 50 mm rusted GI/MS pipe shifting the scrap materials to scrap yard . During the work execution , proper protection to be provided to 33 KV HT cable . Free issue Materials : NIL .

STEEL FABRICATION WORK: Steel Fabrication work of MS angle / MS flat / MS plate by welding, gas cutting including hoisting, fixing in position for different works as mentioned above. After fabrication, it is to be cleaned properly with emery and brush and there after apply one coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats synthetic enamel paint of good quality – BERGER / ASIAN / JOHNSON as Per Instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Welding machine, gas cutting set, grinding & cutting machine, welding electrodes, tools & tackles, consumables, paints, primer etc. Required for the job is in contractor’s scope. While carrying out steel work - cutting , welding etc proper protection shall be provided to the cabel and take clerence from Engineer I/c . Removal of rusted - angles / flat MS pipe and same to be shifted to scrap yard . Free Issue Materials: Only Steel for fabrication.

INSTALLING PPGL SHEETS : Proper protection to be provided to 33 KV HT cable . Transportation of PPGL sheets from Nalco Store to site . Making proper v grove in the wall . Cutting PPGL sheet of thickness 0.6 mm of length 24 inches . Insert the PPGL sheet in wall v grove . Fill the v grouve with plaster ( 1: 6) . Fixing the PPGL sheet with self threading screw and washer at every 1.5 feet distance . Free issue materials : Only PPGL sheet will be provided free of cost by NALCO .

BRICK PEDESTALS FOR 33 KV HT CABLES : Proper protection to be provided to 33 KV HT cable . Providing and laying brick work with locally available fly ash bricks with cement morter 1:6 (1 cement :6 coarse sand ) for cable pedestal complete with all labors material, tools and tackles etc all complete as per specification and direction of engineer in charge. Free issue materials : Only cement will be provided free of cost by NALCO .

PLASTERING WORK : Proper protection to be provided to 33 KV HT cable . 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 sand) for masonary work including necessary scaffolding, curing etc. complete for all heights. Free issue materials : Only cement will be provided free of cost by NALCO .

PAINTING OF 33 KV HT STRUCTURE AT SWITCH YARD -01 AND 02 : Take permit from Engineer in charge . Take all safety precaution during work execution, safety belts to be used without fail. Other safety appliances to be used as per site requirement. Shut down of 1 day will be provided for each switch yard. Thorough cleaning of 33 KV HT structure with emery and brush and make it free from rust , dust , oil , grease etc. . Apply one coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats Aluminium paint. Bottom 2.5 feet of each pole (above PCC cooping) shall be painted with black colour synthetic enamel paint ( 2 coats) . Cooping of the pole shall painted with synthetic enamel paint of yellow and black colour as per the direction of Engineer In charge. Nomenclature of switch yard with synthetic enamel paint as per the direction of Engineer in charge. Vendor has to use red oxide, aluminium paint, synthetic enamel paint and thinner of – BERGER / ASIAN / JOHNSON as Per Instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Free Issue Materials: NIL

PAINTING OF SWITCHYARD -01 AND 02 FENCING : Painting of switch yard fencing, gate and angles support for fencing. Minor repairs / restringing of netted fencing is to be done. Thorough cleaning of fencing , gate and angles support with emery and brush and make it free from rust , dust , oil , grease etc . Apply one coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats Aluminium paint. All switch yard boards shall be repainted as per the direction of engineer in charge . Vendor has to use red oxide, aluminium paint, synthetic enamel paint and thinner of – BERGER / ASIAN / JOHNSON as Per Instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Free Issue Materials: NIL
