The intending bidder/firm/Company should have satisfactorily completed at least one single similar nature of work in any department under projects of value in the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25) should have satisfactorily completed (at least 90% of the contract value of on going works) as prime contractor at least one similar nature of work of value not less than For work Rs 200.00 Lakhs (usually not less than 50% of the amount put to tender under this contract.) List of existing commitments and ongoing works
The intending bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of For work Rs 800.00 Lakhs in at least two financial years during the last 5 years reckoned back from 2024-25 (turnover during 2020-21 to 2024-2025 only will be considered) duly updating the financial turnover at 10% per year to bring it to the price level of financial year in which the tenders are invited. Audited profit and loss statement (with year wise turnover statement) certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant with mentioned compulsory UID number along with copy of Income Tax returns filed for the two years indicated above shall be furnished. (If UID Number not mentioned treated as incomplete and rejected)
Liquid assets and /or availability of credit facilities of not less than Rs 200.00 lakhs (LOC should be in Prescribed Format otherwise tender is liable for Rejection (Credit lines/ letter of credit/ certificates from banks for meeting the fund requirement etc. (usually the equivalent of the estimated cash flow for three months in the peak construction period). In case of death of the contractor after executing the agreement/commencement of the work, his legal heir, if an eligible registered contractor and willing, can execute and complete the work at the accepted tendered rates irrespective of the cost of the work.

If the percentage quoted by contractor for the work is below Ninety percent (90%) of the amount put to tender (updated cost as per CSR) then the successful contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of bank guarantee for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted percentage and Ninety percent (90%) of the amount put to tender (updated cost as per CSR) before executing the agreement. In case of contractor quoting the percentage above One Hundred and twenty five percent (125%) of the amount put to tender (updated cost as per CSR) then the amount over and above One Hundred and twenty five percent (125%) of the amount put to tender (updated cost as per CSR) will be withheld during the progress of work.
