APPENDIX-1( Putting up Baby bund)

Baby bund - Putting up Baby bund as per approved shape 0.75 m width using empty gunny/ polythene bags filled with earth placed in 2 rows at 0.3 m apart and filled in between with puddle clay to bund for an average height 1.0 m including labour dismantling the bund after completion of the work etc.complete.

Bailing out water Using 5HP Pump- Bailing out water with 5HP engine and pump set including conveyance to site and erection,cost of fuel, lubrication oil and other stores, pay of staff etc complete.

4 Appendix-4 (Concrete cutting)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material with in 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer -in-Charge.

APPENDIX-6 (Shuttering and Concreting)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:1/2:3 (cement : 11/2 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) Cement make: Use Malabar cement only as per Govt. direction and in case of non availabilty of Malabar cement use Ultra Tech, Dalmia, Ramco or eq. brand in the order of preference.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for:Retaining walls, return walls, (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc. (Centering and shuttering for different category of work may be considered separately.)

PART - B CIVIL WORKS

Dismantling dressed stone work ashlar face stone work, marble work or precast concrete work manually /by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable and disposal of unserviceable material within 50metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge:In cement mortar.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas(exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavatedearth, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.All kinds of soil.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cementconcrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) up to plinth level with:Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Solid block masonry using pre cast solid blocks ( Factory made) of size 30x20x20cm or nearest availablesize confirming to IS 2185 Part I of 1979 for super structure up to floor two level thickness 20cm andabove in: CM 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 coarse sand) etc complete. Min. average compressive strength as per IS shall be 40-50kg/cm2 and has to be assessed by testing at Govt. lab. ( Variation in rate due to change in size of block and level of floor as per DSR/PRICE has to be considered.

Coursed rubble masonry (first sort) with hard stone in foundation and plinth with:Cement mortar 1:6 (1cement : 6 coarse sand).

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposalof unserviceable material with in 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer -in-Charge.

Putting up ring bund with red earth filling top width 3.00m , bottom width 3.00m and height 2.00m using50mm dia steel pipes two layer and side covering by steel shutters with necessary horizontal andcross braising and filling with red earth etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at siteand removal after completion of the work.

BAILING OUT WATER USING PUMP ABOVE 30HP AND UP TO 40HP - Bailing out water with engineand pump set above 30HP and up to 40HP, including conveyance to site and erection,cost of fuel,lubrication oil and other stores, pay of staff etc complete.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, etc. and removal of form for:Foundations, footings, bases ofcolumns, etc for mass concrete. (Centering and shuttering for different category of work may be considered separately.)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position andbinding all complete upto plinth level Thermo - Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more. Make: Tata,Vaishak, SAIL, JSW or eq primary make in the order of preference.

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs, having slope up to 150 landings,balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases up to floorfive level excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, with1:1.5:3 (1 cement :1.5 coarse sand (Zone III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate)finished with afloating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc.complete.40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate.Cement make: Use Malabar cement only as per Govt. direction and in case of non availabilty of Malabar cement use Ultra Tech, Dalmia, Ramco or eq. brand in the order of preference.

12 mm cement plaster of mix:1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Cement plaster 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement.12 mmcement plaster.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade:New work (Two or more coat applied@ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm). Make: Asian, Berger, Nerolac or eq. in the order of pref.

Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made of required size M.S. laths, interlockedtogether through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks, mounted on speciallydesigned pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with pushand pull operation complete, including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5 cm long wiresprings manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS: 4454 - part 1and M.S. top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters.80x1.25 mm M.S. laths with 1.25 mm thick top cover

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as permanufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. On steel work. Make: Asian, Berger, Nerolac or eq. in the order of pref.

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost ofcentering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level:1:1:5:3 (1 cement 1.5 coarsesand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size. Assessment of strength of concrete by Cube testing at Approved Govt labs as per IS.

Grouting with non shrink micro concrete for fixing guide channel to receive regulator shutter ,includingmachine mixing,transportation,pouring ,curing etc.complete as per the direction of departmental officersat site.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq meters and under, includingcutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the wallscomplete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead:Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand)

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as permanufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. on concrete work. Make: Asian, Berger, Nerolac or eq. in the order of pref.

Supply of Diesel for Generator etc. complete as per the direction of department officers at site.

Note :1 All materials, Items, Equipment shall be best branded items with IS and approved by client/KEL

2:Rate should be inclusive of installation, testing and commissioning cost for all items

3.Rate should be Exclusive of GST.

4.Work should be executed as per DSR/PWD/Irrigation Dept. specification and direction of Engineer at site.
