CLEANING OF OVERHEAD TANKS AND MAINTENANCE OF CHLORINE DOZING PUMP AND ALLIED WORKS AT VARIOUS PUMP HOUSE UNDER GE (S) BINNAGURI.

M &L for cleaning of RCC overhead tank (inside) Draining out of entire water from OH reservoir 1,50,000 gallon capacity at 18-21 Mtr stagging by opening of wash out valve after blocking the delivery mains of each of the two compartments with gunny bags or other suitable arrangement and taking out all the accumulated silt/spoils etc from the base and walls of both the compartments of reservoir completely and depositing it 50 Mtr away from the reservoir scrubbing and removing the scaling deposit from the inner surface of the reservoir and washing properly with bleaching powder mixed with water (1:10) and applying two coats of quick drying lime wash on inner side, top and bottom surfaces. Removing blockage of the delivery mains including writing date of cleaning with white paint on black painted surface at two places and painting to the inner steel ladder of tank with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Item No 1 to 14 :- (a) All necessary T & P, labours and materials will be arranged by the contractor. (b) The above process of cleaning the tanks shall have to be completed by the contractor in max of one day each. (c) The quoted rates shall deemed to include for use of scaffolding, ladders,, etc as required for the entire completion of work. (d) Protective measures and insurance of labors working at relative height shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and rates quoted shall be deemed to include for the same. (e) The quoted rates are deemed to inclusive of writing " TANK CLEANED ON ______" (of 75mm height & 10mm width) with synthetic enamel paint at two places on each tank. (g) Gap between consequtive cleaning of tank shall be minimum three months. (h) 50% Number of tank cleaning should be completed within three months from the date of commencement of work

Removing blockage of the delivery mains including writing date of cleaning with white paint on black painted surface at two places and painting to the inner steel ladder of tank with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in replacement of continuous rotor type granular chlorine dosing pump, high pressure single head gear motorised adjustable type with non metallic liquid end including food grade tubing, connecting nut, injection check valve and ferrule, section with all accessories of capcity 02 to 40 GPD at 100 PSI and 1/30 HP, 230 V AC 50 Hz 44 rpm motor and non metallic solution tank of 100 Ltr capacity with motor driven agitator to maintain uniform suspention throughout the tank complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only calcium hypochlorite granules having chlorine content 65 to 70% by mass for treating water. Make- altoch gp, purichlor or equivalent complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep for pipe line in any type of soil, getting out and leveling of bottom surface to required level all asspecified and directed.

Returning filling in , including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick all asspecified and directed.

Removing excavated material from site to a distance not exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed not exc 1.5 mtr from the starting point all as specified and directed.

Taking up old cast iron water mains 150mm bore (dia) with all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints inclunding burning out joints etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix CI sluice valve Cast iron 100mm bore PN-1.6 flanged end conforming to IS -14846 with CI wheel, brass spindle, chuck nuts, rubber gasket, bolts (full threded), nuts & washers including joints complete all as specified and directed including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable CI Sluice valve from existing position complete all as specified and directed. .

Dismantling existing unserviceable valve pits and construction of new brick masonry valve pits of size 900x900x900mm (internal dimension) with brick work in cement mortar (1:4) 40mmx40mm x6 mm angle iron frame ,MS handle 300mm long, bent to shape and riveted to MS sheet including excavation and earth work, concrete work 3.15 mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement hinges and handle rendering work, painting to all steel surfaces with two coats red oxide primer complete including taking down old valve chamber complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
