SCHEDULE "A" PART - I [CIVIL WORKS]
M&L for drilling or boring for 1300mm nominal dia bored cast-in-situ piles in marine through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials to a distance exc. 10.00 km and n.exc 15.0km and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
All as per Serial Item No. 1.01 here in before but for 1300mm nominal dia through hard rock for founding depth minimum 1500mm, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for Item Nos. 1.01 & 1.02:- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/sea bed level/river bed top (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown by GE to contractor at his own cost. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the jetty. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in drawings, particular specification & MES Schedule Part-I. (vi) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required. (vii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of mobilisation/ demobilisation of suitable gantry/access with all connected facilities required for execution of piling work / completion of the work in sea bodies. (viii) Before boring, actual sea bed shall be taken i.e before dredging to find out the actual sea bed level.
Supply, Fabricate and fixing of 12mm thick sheet piles, grade E-350 (350 N/mm2) of grade "A" steel, connecting to the touch pile liner as per manufacturer instruction upto the depth and shape all as per drawing, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for providing and installing MS liner of 6mm thick for bored cast-in-situ concrete piles with necessary stiffeners, driving shoe with continuous welding including cutting, bending welding etc. confirming to Gde E-250 (250 N/mm2) grade "A", complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Rate shall be inclusive of cutting the liner at cut off level, removal and salvage value of the material so obtained. (ii) MS liner shall be driven upto refusal level/rock touch level, the occurrence of refusal level will be decided by GE at site based on visual inspection of bailer samples from pile bore hole, past experience and laboratory test result. The decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (iii) MS liner shall be measured and paid up to the cut off level only. Additional MS liner if used for convenience of construction shall be included in the rates quoted. Nothing extra shall be paid separately on this account.
M&L for Reinforced cement concrete PRECAST units of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, includes the feeding, mixing, formwork, shifting and placing of pre cast units loading of material from stack yard and shifting to location, errection with alignment in true position, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Reinforced cement concrete CAST-IN-SITU members of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 (Design mix using 20mm graded stone aggregate) using ready mix concrete including supply and mixing of admixtures as in wearing coat over deck slab and finished with power trowelled, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item Nos. 1.07 to 1.09: (i) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/Cu.m. of concrete for M-40 using Portland slag cement with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent) for items covered under item Nos. 1.07 to 1.09. (ii) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000. Maximum size of aggregate shall not exceed 20 mm and slump shall be 50mm to 100mm and maximum water cement ratio 0.4. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include for interalia for preliminary design mix and works test cubes. (iv) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately. (v) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given above, no extra payment will be made. (vi) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks shall not be used.
Chipping of laitance concrete in piles above cut off level up to a maximum of 1m from cut of level using suitable tools and equipments and dressing the pile head suitably so as to receive the form work for deck work, including breaking to the required level exposing the pile reinforcement to sufficient length as per approved drawing for embedding into the base slab etc., and disposal the debris to distance of exc. 10.0Km but n. exc. 15.00Km, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, rafts and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.
Formwork to sides, faces of vertical walls, water tanks, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc. vertical or to batter and the like for fair finished surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, waist slabs, landings and similar work not exceeding 200mm thick (horizontal or sloping) complete.
M&L for Reinforcement in any situation using Corrosion resistant TMT steel bars of grade Fe-500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, slabs, side walls, haunching etc., hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and as directed.
All as per item No. 1.14 here-in-before but 10mm dia and over, as in stirrups, spacers and binders, complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250 quality B), complete all as specified and directed.
S&F MS Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched of any thickness (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250 quality B), complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of steel or steel based surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Providing and fixing Stainless Steel (Grade 316) railing made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (as required) and fixing the same with necessary stainless steel nuts & bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size with suitable arrangement, complete all as specified and shown on drawings.
M&L for appication of protective coating to external concrete surfaces above water level. The concrete surface shall be cleaned with using high jet wash and allow it to dry. The surface shall be finished with polymer modified mortar in case of any pin hole / slip for shuttering holes etc. The patch prepared portion shall be cured with membrane curing NITOBOND AR of fosroc or its equivalent by spraying method. After 24 hours of membrane curing, the Siliane/ Silxone primer/ DEKGUARD Primer shall be sprayed over the repaired as well as the non repaired locations at a dosage of 0.3 to 0.40 Litres/ Sqm by using the airless nozzle gun. Primer applied to the repaired and non repaired locations shall be sprayed with single component aliphatic acrylate UV resistant protective and decorative coating DEKGUARD-S of fosroc or its equivalent in two coats and each coat shall be 150 microns DFT complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supply and fixing in position of Cast iron Bollard, 30Ton capacity, Tee type with base 450mm x 375mm, height 255mm (excluding base thickness) and width of head 350mm, with necessary cutting including concrete chipping, drilling, grouting, welding with deck reinforcement steel and with and including necessary epoxy painting with primer as per manufacturers specifications, suitable to marine works (jetty) complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in position Cylindrical Rubber fender of size 380mm OD x 190mm ID, 7.93M long, complete all as shown on drawings and as per manufacturers specifications suitable to marine works (jetty), complete all as specifiedand as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in position of stainless steel mooring rings of 150mm internal dia fixed with 32mm thick plate with all fittings, complete all as specified, shown on drwaings and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item Nos. 1.21 to 1.24: The detailed drawings / fixing arrangements will be provided by the manufacturers and contractor will get these drawings approved by the DGNP/users. "Deflection reaction diagram" shall also be submitted along with drawings whenever required.
M&L for Second class hard wood as in kerbs of size 200mmx200mm duly fixed in position with suitable 12mm dia 300mm long MS bolts including drilling of holes into RCC slab at 500mm spacing and fixing of the bolt using locking chemical NITOFED–EP of FOSROC or equivalent in PIDILITE/ SIKKA/ BASF, complete all as specified, shown on drawings and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade 'A' for concrete slab/ column/ beam, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Forming contraction (Dummy) joints 40mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'A', complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for forming 40mm thick Expansion joint at deck slab covered with 12mm thick MS plate 175mm wide and fixed with 15 x 50mm long plug welded at 500 c/c to Edge angles of 150x90x10mm and 75x75x10mm fixing with Standard angle hook bar & edge plate 20 x12 mm etc., complete all as shown in drg No DGNP/WD/S/2037 Dated 08/07/2021 Sheet No 17/17.

Material and labour for dredging in all types of soil including over burden, dense to very dense clay, silt, sand, gravel, soil mixed with gravel moorum, shells pebbles, cobbles, removal of surface boulders up to(-) 13.0m.with suitable dredgers and equipment as mentioned in note below to the required lines, levels and slopes including removal and transportation of dredged materials and dumping the same in the designated off shore dumping areas up to 10 nautical miles including necessary survey complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Minimum equipment to be deployed at site are as under:- (a) 01 No BACKHOE supported by 01 No split hopper self propelled/dumb barge of minimum 250 Cum capacity with towing tugs. (b) 01 No Boat with advance survey equipment with Hypack software. (c) Any other suitable supporting equipments required for execution of work. (ii) If any high end equipment used for early completion, nothing extra paid on this ground (iii) The unit rate shall include mobilization and demobilization of plant equipment surveys during progress of work, rail dragging of the dredged areas to the specified levels after completion of dredging, operation and maintenance all plants and equipments and crafts manpower, and labour charges, cost of materials, fuel and taxes, insurance etc., as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) The rate quoted for the above shall includes the third party certification for the quantities of dredging i.e from any one out of the firms mentioned in the particular specifications.

M&L for Chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 90cm X 60cm X 5mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 4.6 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.70metres below normal ground level, connected to copper earth lead 32 x 6mm copper strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I, including excavation/earth work in any strata, with supply of fast Electrode Earth Enhancement compound (2 Bags of 25 KG) which is highly hygroscopic, non corrosive & good pH value certified by NABL approved lab, PCC chamber with RCC cover slab with suitable handle and angle iron frame of suitable size to fix the cover, with 20mm bore GI pipe light grade for watering with funnel, wire mesh and 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade for copper strip protection and 32 x 6mm copper strip, including testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Earth wire will be measured after 7.5mtr from the earth strip or earth testing terminal block whichever is lesser under relevant item. (ii) Tenderer shall give 5 years guarantee towards chemical earthing efficiency. (iii) An amount of 10% (Ten percent) of the quoted amount shall be with hold from the quoted amount. However contractor may submit fixed deposit for the same towards guarantee amount.
Supply install, test and commissioning of sandwich bus duct of 4000Amp, 415Volt rating, 3 Phase, consisting of IP-54 degree protection outer enclosure of sheet metal galvanised steel 2mm thickness and as per IEC-61439-6 and IEC-60529. The busbar conductor three phase full Neutral 50% integral earth made out of aluminium alloy treated over the entire surface with 5 galvanic process of rating 3500Amps, with all its connecting accessories like adopter box, bends, straight run feeder, flanged end, phase cross over expansion joint incl hanger suspension arrangement using MS channel support, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes:- (a) The rate must be including every type of connected accessories necessary as per the actual site condition like feeder element, distribution element with tap-off outlets, elbows, double elbows, special T, X elements fixing supports, expansion element, fire barriers connection interfaces, end feed unit, flexible braid connection etc complete as directed. (b) Bus duct design/ drawings shall be made as per site conditions and OEM recommendations. Erection should be carried out under supervision of OEM rep. Bus duct shall be at least tested for min 1000 hrs salt spray test. Type test reports as per IEC-61439 should be submitted. (c) Fixing / Connecting of bus duct with existing bus duct (of IP-55) inside VLM jetty including all connecting items.
All as per Serial Item No. 5.38 here-in-before but for 2500Amp rating, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge.
