M&L Carrying out soil investigation at works at site by drilling of bore holes in location each of 100mm dia in any type of soil and NX size dia in rock for each location upto 10 mtr depth of refusal and carrying out the following test as per relevant/latest IS code including collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil samples for lab testing all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge following test as per relevant IS codes including collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil samples for lab testing all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge :- (a) SPT value at every 1mtr intervals and change of strata (b) Grain Size distribution and analysis (c) Soil characteristics (d) Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction. (e) Recommended SBC at different depths of foundation separately for the portions with and without basement. (f) SBC and its calculation based on 'N' value, Shear strength and settlement criteria. (g) Depth of water table (maximum and minimum) (h) Depth of expansive soil and its properties, if any... (j) Recommended for type of foundation i.e isolated including special structure . (k) Chemical analysis of soil profile and bore logs. (l) K-Value of soil 0.5m to 5m depth for UG Sump . (m) Plate load test for ascertaining SBC at the proposed level of foundation specifically for OHR only. (n) Modulus of sub grade reaction (o) Colour photographs on A4 size photo paper of the site with the locations of the boreholes duly flagged should be submitted. The photographs should also preferably include any reference structure and the identification of the same be marked location. (p) A CD containing video evidence of the depth of each bore hole and machinery deployed, at site (q) Any other recommendation (r) Exposure conditions of the proposed site in terms of Para 8.2.2 of IS 456-2000 and the type of masonry to be used as per your Zonal specifications (s) completion of field and laboratory test as required for compiling for soil investigation report from IIT / Any Govt Engg college/VNIT Nagpur. (t) Submission of 08 (Eight) Nos of soil investigation report along with photos of each bore hole incorporating the soil in pressure bulb zone to include the sample of soil with marking of various depth in specified wooden box. *Soil Investigation for (02 Nos x 12 x 33m- 02, 01 x Nos 12x 15m - 01 = Total 03 Nos Borehole)
