Preparation of base map by digitization from the satellite image which includes geo-referencing of satellite image, creating road network, natural streams, rivers, water bodies, superimposing and digitizing revenue/village maps and important land marks in different layers, cleaning of digitized map, topology building and submitting two sets of hard copies of base maps created and one soft copy in AutoCAD and GIS file format as directed by Engineer in charge.

Topographical survey of nalla within the project area showing both banks of nalla and center line including cross sections at every 50m interval & at change in directions (levels of both banks, nalla bed and intermediate level), marking manholes in nalla, compound walls/retaining walls at nalla banks, culverts and taking invert with total station. Survey also includes marking TBM at every 1000 m on permanent structures. The topographical survey shall be carried out w.r.t. DGPS and GCP points already taken by Pune Municipal Corporation. Elevation as per GTS bench mark, showing main landmarks, TBM, GTS bench mark. This also includes detailed plan and L-section of nalla (level of nalla bed, and both banks) and cross sections at every 50m and submission the drawing in AutoCAD format.

Survey also includes marking TBM at every 1000 m on permanent structures. The topographical survey shall be carried out w.r.t. DGPS and GCP points already taken by Pune Municipal Corporation. Hydraulic design of storm water drainage network including following steps a. Rainfall data collection from Indian Metrological Department (IMD), rainfall data analysis with step method and generation Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF curve) for two years return period. b. Marking proposed storm water drainage network and marking nodes at 50 m spacing within the sub-watersheds (basins) by identifying the existing roads and natural streams (nalla), which will carry the storm water to the outfall of natural stream. c. Carry out hydraulic analysis by calculating flood discharge and carrying capacity of the existing natural streams and required sizing and slope of the drains. 18100 Ha. d. Design shall be as per updated CPHEEO Manual for Storm Water Drainage System published by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India.
