The pipes shall be as per relevant IS Code and to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.1.

Rising main: Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. ( for pipe and pits) up to all depths and in all kinds of soils such as pick work, pick jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting in soft/ hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock where blasting is prohibited, in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable materials/ soils separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soils in 15 cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil / unusable materials as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of un-metalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying jointing and testing in trenches MSERW beveled edge flanged/wet welded pipes conforming to IS;ISO:3183-2012 grade L-290 or X-42 of below mentioned grade in item as per dimentions weight and test pressure mentioned therein code (Mill tolerances to be restricted with in 3%) in random length of 4 to 7 mtr including the cost of fabrication of bends by butt welding from parent tube as required at site. Only 1% joints shall be flanged joint and remaining shall be welded joints and welding of pipes will be done as per IS: 816-1969 with electrode as per IS: 814-1991 of make Advani/ Orelin (Adore)ESAH. The laying and jointing of pipes should conform to IS: 5822-1994 (Earth work in trenches, flanged joint and butt welded joints to be measured and paid for separately). The pipes shall have galvanised as per BIS: 4736. The galvanisation is done by the manufacturing firm it self complete in all respect (latest upto date amendments).
