Road Maintanance Restoration of rain cuts with soil, moorum, gravel or a mixture of these, clearing the loose soil, benching for 300 mm width, laying fresh material in layers not exceeding 250 mm and compacting with plate compactor or power rammers to restore the original alignment, levels and slopes etc complete as per clause-3002 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision).

Removal of rank vegetation/weeds and undesirable vegetation from shoulders,embankment slopes up to ROW(bothsides) complete in all respects including breaking of clods,rough dressing and disposal of waste material and vegetation at a place outside ROW as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge and as per maintenance standards Clause no 3.1.(Frequency of cleaning will be one time in a quarter)

Stripping excess soil from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor

Providing compacted granular materials in shoulder by using moorum having required P.I. value spreading in uniform layers not exceeding 100mm in depth and compacting with smoth wheeled roller to achieve the desired density, as per approved Drawing & Technical Specifications and as per Clause - 407 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royality & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, machinery, T&P etc complete.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per approved Drawing & Technical Specifications and as per Clause -406 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royality & other taxes of materials, cost of labour, machinery, T&P etc complete.

Cleaning rubbish, sludge, weeds cum liquid earth mud etc. from RCC box drain covered nikasi etc. by mathor labour after removing concrete slab/manhole cover etc, without damaging the same & refixing the same properly after cleanig as necessary & removing the sludge etc by using iron pans, buckets including all labours, tools & plants including expulation of impur inflamable/asphyxiating gases from the drain etc & removing the spoila in dry condition & disposing the same by truck beyond the ares of municipality corporation/municipality/NAC/Industrial town ship authority etc. for uch disposal including the cost of loading unloading, transportation & making arrangement of necessary land for disposal, spreading & levelling as necessart etc. & cleanig the road sides in all respects, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge(Land for disposal to be arranged by the contractor) (payment will be made on the basis of actual stack measurement of spoils in dray condition at road side(As per practical field observations)

ROAD PROPERTY MAINTENANCE Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of Class-B Type-IV recto reflective sheeting fixed over 2mm thick alumunium sheeting , 3mm/4mm thick alumunium composite material sheet depending on the size of sign vide Clause No. 801.3 of specifications for road and bridge works of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (5th Revision) fixed over back support frame of min 25x25x3 mm angle mounted on a mild steel cicular pipe 65 NB, 3.2mm thickness firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-25 grade cement concrete 45cmx45cm x 60 cm, 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing including cost of all materials, labour, T&P, royalty etc complete in all respect and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
