Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per ser item No 2 above but depth exc 1.50 metre & n.exc 3.00metre.

Returning filling in (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cms thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials/ soils, not exceeding 50mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50mtrs, complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:3:6 (nominal mix) type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 ( nominal mix ) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar ands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs , water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary formwork where required complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to protection of underground cables, laid 8 Cm before laying and 15 Cm after laying of cable, and punned to form an overall layer of 18 Cms thick, complete all as specified and directed Note: Punned thickness shall be measured.

Sub class ‘B brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick including taking out old bricks, complete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel galvanised iron tubing light grade for cable protection as in road crossing, along poles, walls, floors, drain of 80mm size fixed with MS clamps, nuts and bolts required including taking out old pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel galvanised iron tubing light grade for cable protection as in road crossing, along poles, walls, floors, drain of 50mm size fixed with MS clamps, nuts and bolts required including taking out old pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Steel tubular swaged poles complete with base plate 8mm thick welded with pole, finial taper plug, bolt, nut and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9m long) including one coat of red-oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of aluminium paint on surfaces exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paint alternately on external surface above PCC benching including numbering with black paint and painting with bituminous paint internally complete and externally for portion embedded in PCC, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work & excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid under respective Items of BOQ.

Painting to existing steel tubular HT poles, 11m/9m long including cross arms, channels, angle iron support, bracings, clamps etc. with two coats of aluminum paint superior quality of approved make on surfaces exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (total 5 Nos) with white and black paint alternately on external surface above PCC benching including preparation of old painted surfaces by scraping etc complete and writing pole numbers. of 2 inches bold letters with black paint after painting, complete all as specified & directed

Trimming of tree branches from LT overhead line to branch 2 mtr up to both side & re-stretching of ACSR conductor and earth wire of any size and type on LT poles including disconnecting and rebinding with insulators with suitable size of binding wire after restretching, connecting jumpers, adjusting line deviders and disposal tree branches complete including removing and refixing of UG cable /service wires to the ACSR conductor complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge . Note:- (i) Clearing branches from both sides of conductor in between two consequtive poles shall be considered as one span irrespective of distance between poles. (ii) Cost of T&P required for cutting and removing branches shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by bidder.

Cutting and removing grass,vegetation, creepers, small plants / bushes etc clamping up towards the poles and stays etc including cleaning bottom surface area of pole & stay not less than 1m x 1m by surface dressing of earth outside and inside substations, perimeter fencing around pump house area, and in drains surrounding area from site complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron strip 32X6 mm size (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised and earth wire protected by provision of galvanised iron pipe light grade, 40 mm bore including provn of concrete pit in plain cement concrete M-15 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of rainforced cement concrete M-15 reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia mild steel bar handle made to shape, galvanised iron medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and including earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion.

Preparation of old steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecing, taking down and stacking the unserviceable /broken earth wire /strip of any size from the roof or from wall and removing the same from the site all as directed.

Air termination vertical type, Single pointed made with 12mm dia 300mm long aluminium rod including necessary fixing arrangements with aluminium bolts, nuts, lead wasters etc. complete and incl provisin of GI tubing light grade 40mm dia, 300mm long embedded in PCC block (size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm) one end and other end fitted with air termination rod all as specified and directed.

Horizontal /down conductors, aluminium strip of size 25 x 3.15mm and including epoxy insulator bus bar type 40mm thick at an interwal of 60 cm apart for lightening protection on roof and for down conductors, including all fixing arrangementsand aluminiun nut , bolt & washers complete all as per IS-2309-1989 and testing all as specified. Note :- Aluminium strip shall be jointed with rivets (minimum 4 Nos) .

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25mm long hex head screw for fixing the same on wall as as directed.

Galvanised iron strip of size 32 x 6mm from earth pit to test point provided all around the bldg for lightening protection laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting up complete all as directed..

M&L , monthly Inspection, maintenance and serviceing of DG sets of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a) 62.5 KVA Capacity, Make: Cummins, - 01 No (b) 40 KVA Capacity, Make: Cummins-01 No (i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note: Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring.

Note : Fan blade shall be measured seprately as supply only.
