OD186371/2022-2023:Designing of dual media sand filter using anthracite and testing of anthracite as per order no.KWA/WASCON/AEE11/697/2018 dated 23/03/2019. by MD KWA. Bed Area - 2 x (7.00 x 4.50) = 63 m2

OD186372/2022-2023:Supply of the Anthracite as per item 1 above in quantity required as per design, properly graded and tested by supplier specifying the source of material and quality commensurate to the following specifications-SP Gravity-1.45-1.55, Uniformity coeft.-1.5, bulkdensity-0.73- .76T/m3,Hardness -3MOH, Hardgrover 44-50, carbon cont. more than 90%,Ash-3.4%,Volatile-5.7%,Solubility-1.5% in 10%,HCL-10% NaOH, for 24 Hrs certification including all cost ,taxes conveyance to site loading and unloading etc complete. The following specifications for Anthracite shall be adhered to :Anthracite Effective size d10 - 1.0 to 1.6 mm Specific Gravity - 1.45 to 1.55 Uniformity Coefficient - 1.7 or lower Hardness ( Mohs Scale) - >2.7 Acid Solubility - 5%Shall confirm to AWWA : B100 Standards. The Anthracite and filter sand shall be tested in Regional Research Laboratory / CSIR Labs of Government of India for its suitability. The anthracite shall have a minimum carbon content as specified in British standard/ European standard 12909: 2012 or later edition in addition to the specification detailed in proceedings No. KWA/WASCON/AEEII/697/2018 dated 23.03.2018 of the MD

100.55.5:Removing filter media from the filter beds without making any damages to the existing structures and back manifolds and stacking at a safe and convenient place for segregation process and as per the directions of the department officers etc. complete.

100.55.6:Cleaning, drying and seiving the removed filter media and stacking the dismantled pebbles for reuse and spreading in the filter box in layers as per specifications and as per directions of the department officers.

OD186373/2022-2023: Repair / Alteration of the under drain system by replacing all damaged pipes with suitable arrangements and providing all additional mechanisms and fixtures required including for backwash system according to the design of multi layer filtering system complete

OD186374/2022-2023:Modification / alteration of the existing back washing system comprising of compressed air/ blower and clear water providing new air scouring system, providing new pressure regulating valves or such other mechanisms and fixtures required according to the design of multi layer filter media back washing operations complete..

100.55.1:Supplying of 2 to 6 mm and 6 to 12 mm size fine pebble (pebbles shall be hard, clean, free from clay, dust and other impurities), stacking in standard heaps for measurement including cost, conveyance up to 5 km and labour charges for stacking, spreading, testing and as per the directions of the department officers etc. complete as per CPHEEO specifications.

100.55.2:Supplying of 12 to 20mm size pebble (pebbles shall be hard, clean, free from clay, dust and other impurities), stacking in standard heaps for measurement including cost, conveyance up to 5km and labour charges for stacking, spreading, testing and as per the directions of the department officers etc complete and as per CPHEEO specification.

100.55.3:Supplying of 20 to 40 mm pebble (pebbles shall be hard, clean, free from clay, dust and other impurities), stacking in standard heaps for measurement including cost, conveyance up to 5 km and labour charges for stacking, spreading, testing and as per directions of the department officers etc. complete and as per CPHEEO specification.

OD186375/2022-2023:Washing and cleaning the filter chamber and rectifying damages of filter walls including glazed tiles and floor of the filter bed by concreting where ever necessary, repairing the entire chamber suitable for dual media filter refurbishment

OD186376/2022-2023: Refurbishing the filter bed using dual layer filter media as per the design separately laying each grade of supporting gravel manually so that each pebble is placed in close contact with each other leaving maximum void space between and the smaller gravels above. The filter sand media and the Antracite are placed above separately.

4.2.3:Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls ( any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts,buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc. up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing:1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

OD186377/2022-2023:Trial running and maintaining the filter beds for a period of one month and providing training to the KWA personnel in the operation and maintenance of the new system including providing knowledge transfer to the concerned engineers of KWA assaigned for the purpose including all expences for such training etc. complete
