REPAIR/MAINT AND REPLACEMENT OF HT UG CABLES, GOD, DROP OUT FUES, FOUR/TWO POLES/STRUCTURE, LIGHTING ARRESTER, TRANSFORMER AND ALLIED WORKS AT ROORKEE AND PURKAZI UNDER GE ROORKEE

In replacement of old unserviceable HT underground cable with supply, laying & testing HT XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, of size 150 Sqmm 3 Core complete all as specified and driected Engr-in-Charge.

In replacement of old unserviceable HT underground cable with supply, laying & testing HT XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, of size 120 Sqmm 3 Core complete all as specified and driected Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of pipes and for poles/stay and struts not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out, excavated earth, forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 03 here in above but exceeding additional 1.5 meter in depth for laying of pipes and for poles/stay and struts not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out, excavated earth, forming botton surfaces to required level complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directetd.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying sand river for cushioning with layers of sand 8 cm befor lying of cable and 15 cm after lying of cable (total 23 cm) in trenches complete all as specified and directed. (Note Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

Supply and laying unreinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, Type-1 with peak, size 300mmx180mmx40mm laid flat adjacent and abutting to each other across the length of cable laid dry complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Laying only unreinforced precast concrete cable cover retrived against item Nos 1 & 2 here in before class HVP, type-1 with peak, size 300x180mmx40mm laid flat adjacent and abutting to each other across the length of cable laid dry complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement cable jointing kit 11 KV(earthed) grade cable for straight termination (Heat shrinkable) Each type joint complete with jointing material and all accessories for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 -185 Sqmmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cable jointing kit 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for indoor Terminal with long sleeves (Heat shinkable) type joint complete with jointing material and all accessoires for 3 core XLPE armoured conductor cable of size 120 to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cable jointing kit 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for Out door Termination (heat shrinkable) type joint complete with jointing material and all accessories for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminum conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator, including one galvaized mild steel spindle, two galvaized iron washers and one galvanizeed rion nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 Volt grade, complete all as specified.

S & F in replacement of disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, with tension clamps for conductor, working pressure 11000 volts, complete all as specified.

S & F in replacement of unserviceable lighting arrestors with new 33 KV Lighting arrestors explusion type complete with all fittings and necessary connection, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 Kilo amps complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of post insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, working pressure 33000 volts, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of pin insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, working pressure 33000 volts, complete all as specified.

M&L in replacement of unserviceable cross arms with new cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including removing of existing any type of conductor a coat of red oxide primer one under and & one finishing coat complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old unserviceable switch air break gang operated and M & L switch air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated mounted on HT 11 KV outdoor for horizontal or vertical mounting insulators and mild steel galvanized frame with operating rod of 20mm bore medium grade ISI marked galvanized iron pipe worked from ground level for current rating 200 Amps including nuts, bolts and washers etc of required size, including looking arrangement with locks and synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer over mild steel work and electric connection complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old rusted galvanized iron pipe 100 mm bore light grade in trenches/road/nallah or fixed along wall/pole including mild steel camps, screws etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc 1.50 m in depth for rerouting and finding of the HT cable foult in underground cable and returning filling the same after rectification of the cable fault in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Item dry fine sand shall be measured and paid separately in respective items. 2. Retrieved resuable bricks will be used for protection of cables.

M & L of Hight Tension cable fault checking by high tension cable fault locating/testing machine by disconnecting the HT cable end termination including insulation testing complete of faulty cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of drop out fuse unit explusion type for out door air break gang operated switch single pole mounted and including insulators for 11 KV working pressure fixed to and including MS channel with nuts, bolts, and washer etc synthetic bounded fuse camng tube complete with line fap suitable for current carry capacity upto 200 Amps complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting through existing bituminous road/PCC/floor/approx size 50cm x 60 cm depth along cross section of the road for laying of GI Tubing/RCC pipe for encasing of cable and repairing the road to match with original finish complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old steel tubular pole LT/HT after excavation of PCC and disconnectiing of cross arm and insulators, and shifting and re installing it to new location as required on site including all ASCR conductor any size/cross/insulators connections including excavation earth work and PCC work with ratio 1:4:8 and coping with ratio 1:3:6 and testing of overhead line complete as specified and directed.

Supplying, install and errect in replacement in true vertical position steel tubular swaged welded pole complete with cast iron/MS base plate 6mm thick and of size 300x300mm, final taper, pole cap, bolts, nuts, washers & screws etc. pole made out of ERW M.S. tubing conforming to IS-2713 part-II type 410 SP-55 (11.0 metre long) including of holes of reqd Nos and size for fixing of cross arms, painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of aluminium paint for exposed surfaces and two coats of black bituminous paint for portion embedded in concrete, painting three signal red colour bends at lower portion of exposed pole starting from plinth block , each band of 300mm height at 300mm spacing, painting pole No the black paint by stenciled letters/figures of 8cm height complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note: Excavation and PCC works will be measured and paid separatly in respected items.

M&L for PCC work type D-2 (1:4:8) with 40mm graded aggregate for foundation to poles / stays/strutus or basements etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1 :3 :6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded aggregate incl necessary form work all as specified.

M&L in repalcement of aluminium conductor, steel reinforced off sizes including binding wire and jumper connect with PG clamp made out of aluminium alloy accodring to IS-617 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for removing all connections, bindings etc of ACSR/AAC conductor on existing HT/LT poles & stretching of ACSR/AAC conductor upto required sag of any size and cross section of conductor and stretching of GI wire on existing pole including making necessary connection & binding with binding wire including cutting of tree branches from both sides upto the stress on each side complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning away all grass, vegetation, saplings, shrubs, undergrowth, roots and trees up to 50 cm girth from the area surrounding of E/M installations, under HT&LT over head lines, 4/2 pole structures, transforemer, installations, yards, surrounding valve chambers and removing the rubbish upto a distance 50 mtr outside the periphery of the area under clearance and dressing the area etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces using polish paper painted exposed surfaces silver aluminium paint two coats to steel tubular pole of 11mtr including cross arms. Bracket etc complete with writing Nos of pole with white paint on black 3"dia circle all as directed specified complete.

M&L Anti climbing devices: Comprising 2.24mm dia galvanised steel 2-strand barbed wire with 2.mm dia barbs wrapped spirally round poles, to a length of 0.5 to 1.0 metre clamped and properly secured or as ordered (clamps measured separately).

Supply and fixing danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick MS sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20 cm size

M&L in replacement of u/s cradles, hexagonal/ rectangular fabricated with galvanised steel wire of size 4 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
