82.5 KVA CPCB-II silent cummine D.G. Set with Cummins Engine Model 4BTAA3.9-G 4,4-cylinders, 4- stroke cycle. Water cooled turbochared developing 110 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS: 5514. The engine shall be provided with electricl starting arragement and shall give the electric output of 82.5 KVA/66 KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 Volts at the alternator terminal with 82.5 KVA AMF panel.

Alternator :-

Stamford make single bearing alternator suitable for continuous operation generating 82.5 KVA at 1500 RPM, 415 Volts, 0.8 power factor (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system, confirming to BS 5000/ IS 4722. The alternator is brushless type, screen protected, revolving field, self excited, self regulated through an AVR. The alternator has the following features: - +_ 1.0% voltage regulation (max.) in static conditions - IP: 23 protection with insulation class H - Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hour in 12 hours of operation.

CONTROL PANEL FOR DG SET :

The Control Panel is manufactured with 14/16 gauge CRCA sheet and is poweered coated for a weather-proof and long lasting finish. The Control Panel consists of the following parts: -PS0500 Controller - Aluminium Bus Bars with suitable capacity with in/outgoing terminals - Indicating Lamps for 'Load On' and 'Set Running' - Instrument fuses duly wired and ferruled - MCCB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protections.

The panel will be equipped as follows :-

Incomer - 1 no. 3 pole, 500Amp MCCB, Set of CTs for metering.

Indication Lamps :- Genset Running, Set on Load, Phase Indication.

PS 0600: Genset Controller:

Cummins PowerStart TM PS0600 control is a microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system. The control provides a simple operator interface to the generator set, manual and remote start/ stop control, shutdown fault indication, and an LCD hour counter. The integration of all functins into a single control system provides enhanced reliability and performance compared to conventional generator set control systems. The control has been designed and tested to meet harsh environment in which gensets are typically applied.

SOUND ATTENUATED SYSTEM

The Sound Attenuated DG sets are designed and engineered by the CAD/CAM experts conforming to international standards and mandatory noiise level norms achieving Noise level of 75 dB(A) at a distance of 1 Meters. In open environment. The system is made of high-class sheet metal fabricated panels of 16G thickness having modular construction with multi-fold sheet channels & ISMC section for ease of assembly and dismantling, and high quality Fireproof Acoustic material i.e. Rock Wool (50-100 mm thick having 64-96 kg/m3 density).

ACCOUSTIC MATERIALS :-

Rock wool in the form of slabs of 100 mm thickness and 96 KG/Metric cube density (Specification of Rock wool conforms to IS 8183).

VENTILATION

Acoustic enclosure is designed in such a way that there are no hot pockets around engine and it is provided with suitable designed engine radiator which does not allow the temperature to rise more than 70C above ambient temperature. To achieve optimal output and minimum sound level from the DG set, suitable openings are provide for increasing the inflow of air required for combustion & forced ventilation. Air intake system as per the recommendations and engine requirement are provided.

The sound control system designed to suppress the sound level to 75 db maximum at 1 mtr. distance in open free field environment as per ISO 8528 part 10.

SILENCER

Specially designed low noise silencer is provided. Silencer & engine exhaust outlet, Connected with flexible SS below.

VIBRATION ISOLATION:-

To avoid transfer of vibration from genset to enclosure & surrounding specially designed vibration isolators are used.

Providing and laying cement concerent 1:2:4 (1 cement , 2: sand, 4:graded stone aggregrate 20mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth.

Providing and fixing following rating, four pole, 415 volts, On-Load change over switch unit, AC 23 A duty, in sheet steel enclosure, with side handle operation, including drilling holes on the board, making connections, etc. as required.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mmx600 mmx 3 mm thick, including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. ( but without charcoal or coke and salt ) complete as required.
