NOTES FOR ITEM No. 1 to 12 (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings.

(ii) Servicing of DG Set along with connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including 'A' Check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every 15 days (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs.( List DG as 5KVA-02 Nos, 10KVA-01No,12.5KVA-1Nos, 15KVA-4Nos, 20 KVA-4Nos,25KVA-4Nos, 30KVA-2Nos, 40KVA-01No,50KVA-2 Nos ,62.5KVA-02NOs, Nos 82.5KVA-5 Nos ,100kva-02 Nos 125 KVA-5 Nos, 200KVA-01Nos,320 kva-1 No) (ii) Serviceaing of AMF panel shall included with cleaning of dust inside with blower, cleaning of moving part /contacts from CT cleaner, tightening of loose parts /electrical wires, cleaning of contactors, relays and junction points, servicing/ adjustment of relay, complete testing of AMF relay with necessary settings and load management system complete with replacement of worn out unserviceable components /burnt wires thimbles /lugs complete tested automatic start the DG set on mains fails in presence of MES rap. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'A' check is attached as Appendix 'A' to the Particular specifications.

Servicing of DG Set along with connected Alternator and Panel Board including items covered in 'A' Check of the Engine shall also be carried out in that month as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs (iii) Spare parts, engine oil and radiator coolant oil required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/ filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item,contractor to be provided fuel filter, oil filter, water filter,top head gaskets,fuel pipes, battery terminal, battery lead and distilled water. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check is attached as Appendix 'B' to the Particular specifications.

Repair / overhauling of following mentioned Self Starter assembly of DG Set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, cleaning of all accessories, replacing of worn out parts such as brushes, bushes, contact plates, jumping leads and seals, revarnishing the field coil, armature and re-assembling the same and re-fixing into the engine including testing all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. (a) Self starter assembly, 12 Volt DC 320 KVA

Dismantling and taking out burnt or unserviceable Self starter 12V/24V DC from existing DG set and rewinding of Self starter 12 V DC motor with same gauge copper winding wire ISI mark including providing paper insulation varnishing drying complete to achive appropriate nsulation resistence and refixing and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Repair / overhauling/Descaling of following mentioned radiator assembly of DG set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, dismantling the top and bottom chambers, descaling the sediments, scales, corrosion etc. by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing, air cleaning, re-assembling the same with new gaskets including arresting leakages, if any and fixing to the engine with new hoses, clips etc. all as required and as directed. Note: The rate quoted shall be inclusive of transporting of the radiator to the workshop and back and all incidental charges.

Dismantling of alternator assembly complete from DG set of capacity from 15KVA to 82.5KVA and removing the burnt out copper winding cleaning of limb thoroughly and rewinding the same with supper enameled copper winding wire of the same gauge and turn with proper class of insulation impregnated & baking, assembling and testing complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for rewinding of DG set alternator of 100KVA To 320 KVA capactity with existing size and gauge and adequate number of turns of super enamelled copper winding wire and bore conductor including varnishing insulating material drying baking heating and connection leads with thimble and making connection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Maintenance of AMF panel and cleaning of dust inside with blower, cleaning of moving part /contacts from CT cleaner, tightening of loose parts /electrical wires, cleaning of contractors, relays and junction points, servicing/ adjustment of relay, complete testing of AMF relay with necessary settings and load management system complete with replacement of worn out unserviceable components /burnt wires thimbles /lugs complete tested For DG set up to 320 KVA complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Parts /components for replacement shall be measured and paid for separately.

Material and Labour for cleaning and removing of vegetation, bushes, surface dressing upto depth not less than 10cm to remove the vegitation up to root surrounding the AMF panel and DG set plateform all around Approx 25-30 Sqmtr area complete including providing lock all as specified and directed. Note :- The cleaning vegitation required quaterly, cleaning of each Quater measuredas one job for a installation.

Material and Labour for cleaning and removing of vegetation, surface dressing surrounding AMF panel, welding of damaged panel doors, fixing of hinges, providing locking arrangements, applying one coat of primer, painting of panel with two coats synthetic enamel paint of existing colour complete including providing lock all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking out and refixing of fuel tank of DG Set after necessary repair such as welding / brazing at all leakage joint to make leak proof complete all as specified & directed .

Dismantling of broken transparent acrylic sheet of metering section of DG Canopy door and Supply and fixing of new acrylic sheet of 3mm thick transparent as per existing size and shape along with rubber seal and making water proof the door complete all as specified and directed.

Checking / testing of Earth resistance value of earthing pits Installed inside Makarpura, Harni camp and Harni airfield area as per requirement basis as directed by Engr in Charge or as scheduled and making the damaged earthing serviceable by pouring salted water into earthing or making continuity by GI strips and bringing down the resistance value within specified limits including maintenance of existing earthing by cleaning the earth chamber, funnel and cleaning of vegetation surrouding earthing pit up to 2 mtr. Note: (i) The contrcator will deploy a team for each DG set at Darjipura to test the resistance value of earthings in each zone to complete the process within one month. The entire process will be repeated after every six months (half yearly) upto completion of the contract. (ii) One earthing testing in one season is measured one job. (iii) Digital Earth tester will be arranged by the contractor at his own. (iv) Date of testing and due date of testing is to be written on a register with sign of user rep & Engr-in Charge . (iv) Testing and correction action is to be done within one month from date of commencement . earthings is to be completed within one month. Thereafter on half yearly basis or as directed byEngr-in charge and same is to be completed within one month.The contractor has to deploy electrician with helper and testing equipment and all the resources to complete the task within one month. (v) If any material required for improvement of resistence value where value is more than the permissible limit will be measured and paid seperately.
