A- Provision of FRT & MTS/Helper staff 1571811.00 Below/P
Provision of Fast Response Team (FRT) for repair & maintenance of Optical fiber. This includes deployement of FRT team of Splicer - 01 nos, Asst. Splicer - 01 nos, Helper - 02 Nos, Patrolman - 01 nos for maintenance of OFC & Fiber health monitoring. The contractor shall arrange 1 for the transportation of men, material, tools etc., to & fro to the site at his own cost. The FRT team shall execute repair & maintenance of OFC, trenching, laying/blowing of duct, splicing & jointing, installation of HDPE pipes, OFC pits, route markers etc., for restoration of any cable cut with his own equipment/tools as per the instructions of Engineer incharge of DFCCIL. Material required for cable restoration shall be provided by DFCCIL. The contractor shall ensure the OFC health for interruption free services.
Provision of Multi-tasking staff/Helper (Semi-Skilled at A class station) to carry out different S&T Maintenance Activities at NOC & OCC). Above/
Supply of 48 Fiber Armoured Optical Fiber Cable as per RDSO spec no IRS:TC 55/2006 Amend 3 or latest.
Supply of 24 Fiber Armoured Optical Fiber Cable as per RDSO spec no IRS:TC 55/2006 Amend 3 or latest.
Supply of HDPE duct 40/33 mm as per RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013/Rev. 2.0 with latest 3 amendments as available. For each KM of HDPE duct following items are to be supplied. a) end plugs - 2 nos, b) Cable sealing plugs - 2 nos, c) Plastic couplers slip fit/push fit type - 2 nos, d) End plugs to be provided along with drum - 02 nos.
Supply of 2 x 24 fiber optic fiber splice straight joint enclosure (SJC) complete with all accessories as per RDSO/SPN/TC/ 68/2014, Rev.3 or latest amendment.
Supply of Pastorate prefabricated OFC jointing pits (RCC/PVC) of size 06mx0.8mx1m. The material shall be supplied as per engineer in charge instructions.
Double Walled Corrugated (DWC)HDPE Pipe with associated collars etc. as per RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/204/ 2011 or latest anti-rodent & anti-oxidant and non-flame propagating type in 6 meters straight length and of size 120 mm outer die,& 103.5mm inner dia. . 6 One of the following coupling arrangements should also be supplied with each pipe as per the site requirement.1) Suitable snap fit coupler with rubber 'O-Ring 2) Spacers 3)Tees 4) Bend, 5) End-cap (The total quantity of above items is equal to no. of pipes supplied.)DWC pipe shall be marked at every 1 mtr length in such a way that manufacturer's name, vender name and year of manufacture can be easily identified. Supply of G. I Pipes confirming to specification IS: 1239 (pt.1)-1990 or latest 100mm (int. dia) 3.65 mm +/- 10% thick with coupling G.I pipes shall have ISI mark on it and contractor should submit manufacturer's test certificate of G.I pipes (use for girder/other type bridges in yards and mid sections for carrying telecom cables). and confirming to as per Technical Specifications.
Supply of half round RCC pipes of150 mm internal dia (2 meter long) along with collars as per ISNo. 458/2003 of NP type.(Supply 1+1 meter x 2 No).
Supply of RCC cable route markers engraved in one side and painted on both sides along the route every 50m and route diversion as per Drg. shall be provided by railway.
Digging of 1.2 mtr deep and 0.3 mtr wide trenches in all type of soils, including soft rock as per approved cable route plan and back filling the trench after laying of cables. It includes clearing of roots of trees and bushes and temporary obstructions on the selected cable route, ramming of soil. The item includes covering of laid cables by sieved soil. Where digging of 1.2 mtr 10 depth is not possible or depth is reduced/increased as per instructions given by engineer incharge then payment will be decreased/increased proportionately to the depth of trench. Note: Cable trenching between Station Limit (i.e. from Distant to Distant Signals) should be done at distance of 3.0 mtrs(minimum) from centre line of track and Outside Station Limit, cable trenching will be done at distance of 5.5 mtrs(minimum) from centre line of track. If above mentioned minimum distances are not available at site then trenching will be done by contractor as per instructions issued by Site Executice.
Horizontal direction drilling/boring without damage of surface road using Auger Machine. The bore shall be 150 mm Dia & shall be done at the depth of minimum 1200 mm from the 11 ground level. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road. The length of the bore shall be minimum 4 Mtr long. The HDD with or without HDPE pipe as per direction of Engineer In charge. Note: HDPE pipe supply is taken as separate item. This item also includes cable laying (HDD boring).
Manual horizontal auger boring for crossing of road/track at depth of 1.2 m from ground level/bottom of rail flange including insertion of 100mm dia (with thickness 3.65mm) DWC pipes/coupling etc. all complete as per the directions of Engineer- in-charge.
Splicing of laid under above items 48 fiber OFC cable and making the splice joint in dust free environment with contractor's own equipments and labour. Splicing shall be started from 13 one end and each splicing shall be monitored after splicing and after closing the enclosure for all the fibers from one central location by contractor's engineer with his own OTDR and optic Talk set with DFC Executive , trace for the fibers shall be taken and signed jointly, if any fibre splice shows high loss/lossy event, the same shall be redone before completion of splicing work. The splice loss shall be as per the policy/technical circulars issued by the DFCs from time to time.

Splicing shall be started from 14 one end and each splicing shall be monitored after splicing and after closing the enclosure for all the fibers from one central location by contractor's engineer with his own OTDR and optic Talk set with DFC Executive , trace for the fibers shall be taken and signed jointly, if any fibre splice shows high loss/lossy event, the same shall be redone before completion of splicing work. The splice loss shall be as per the policy/technical circulars issued by the DFCs from time to time.
Transportation and laying of HDPE pipe as per approved cable route plan in the 15 excavated trench, taking due care while transporting and laying the same in the trenched or other protective works. Both the end of duct should be sealed with end plugs before laying and should remain sealed till blowing is done.
Blowing/drawing of OFC cables in the HDPE duct along with all the protective work as per approved standard and instructions of site Engineer.
Installation of Pastorate pre-fabricated OFC jointing pits (RCC/PVC) of size 0.6mx0.8x1m.The material shall be supplied as per engineer in charge instructions Running
Placing of DWC/RCC pipes along with collars in trenches at places of track and road crossings, platform cuttings etc. Running
Fixing of GI pipes for crossing the culverts, bridges, etc. and concreting f end with brick masonary at both ends as per the instruction of DFC Engineer at Site. Running

Cement concrete work for miscellaneous items in the ratio 1: 3: 6. Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement & sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm.) (Aggregate cement & sand to be supplied by the contractor).
Providing brick masonry in ratio 1:6 cement and mortar including plastering with 1:4 23 cement and sand mixture both sides, 20 mm thick each with contractor's owned class II bricks, including excavation, curing, grouting, bolting etc. wherever required. Bricks sand and cement to be supplied by the contractor.
