Repairs and maintenance of Internal Roads in AVNL Yeddumailaram Estate.

Repair to potholes : Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam (as per IRC 27-2009), well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings)depth of potholes exc 30 mm and rolled with 8-10 tonne power roller to uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Priming of surfaces : Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG 30 grade) @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Premix Carpet : Bituminous premixed carpet, 20mm minimum consolidated thickness, with 0.27 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 14.6 kg of binder (paving bitumen (VG-30 grade))per 10 sq.m and mixed in mechanical hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8-10 T capacity and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface. Complete as specified and directed. Mix design and specification for Premix Carpet shall be as per SSR Part-I and/or IRC regulations.

Road marking lines : M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
