Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50mm but n.exc 100 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old surface of WMM/ WBM and applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen VG-10 grade confirming to IS :73 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 Kg/ Sqm as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth not exceedng 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scouring sunken surface in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kgs per 10 Sqm with Paving Bitumen VG-10 grade and including laying premixed bituminious macadam with Paving Bitumen VG-30 grade @ 4% by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with paving Bitumen VG-30 grade @ 9.8 kgs per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping of size 6.3mm and again well rammed and rolled using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller (including supply of pre-mixed macadam, binder and chipping), depth of pot holes exceeding 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old existing black top surface and applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen VG-10 grade confirming to IS :73 at a rate of application of 0.3-0.4 Kg/ Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid and rolled to required gradient, camber and super elevation (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and vibratory roller, with using binder content 4% by weight of total mix using Viscosity Grade Bitumen VG -30 complete all as specified and directed. Note : Mix shall be obtained from automatic hot mix plant and shall be spread by mechanical paver.

M&L for applying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.50% binder of paving Bitumen VG-30 grade, content by weight of total mix including cement filler, on surfaces, rolled compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller and vibratory roller, to achieve the required compactness, camber and gradient mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechnaical paver finisher complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:-(i) The actual binder content used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in Sch 'A'/ BOQ. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate at market rate or procurment rate whichever is more for paving bitumen VG-30. (iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Please note that SDAC to be laid immediately after laying of BM. In case the SDAC could not be laid within 48 hours of laying of BM, primer coat @ 3Kg / 10Sqm to applied over freshly prepared bituminous surface and nothing extra shall be paid by the Govt. on this account. No claim what so ever shall be entertained by Govt on this account.

M&L for preparation of road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5mm thick single coat as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines etc., road marking of 150/100mm width using 'HOT MARK' thermoplastic paint (Hot application) white or yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter fillers etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to BS- 6086 of MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads @ 300 Gms/Sqm etc all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Notes:- Thermoplastic Road marking Materials shall have the higest quality of raw materialts to provide long life and excellent visibility even after extended use and comply with MOST 803.4.2 (MoRTH 803) or any latest provision of MoRTH to be applicable, BS 3262:1989,BS EN 1871:2000, AASTHO M249,AS 1742.2,SLS 1384:2009 specification.

M&L for 100mm thick (spread thickness) in Moorum/Red bajri filling in road side berms or pavings, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and chamber using 0.2 to 0.5 tonne power roller as in berm complete all as specified and directed.
