M&L for painting by Mechanical means lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on rigid/ flexible pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with one coat of water based paint (IS -164- 1981), (white , orange, black or golden yellow) including preparation of surface, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 1 above but not exceeding 10 cm wide by hand.

M&L for repair to concrete slab surface (depressed portion / cracked portion) by cutting damaged / spilled portion to required depth removing useless, worthless, all loose and foreign materials etc to a distance exceeding 500 m but not exceeding 1000 m. Cleaning the surface thoroughly with brushes and finally with compressed air, filling and levelling the surface with epoxy mortar after priming including formwork, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete of in ground floor and as in pavings exc 15cm in thickness (above ground level) in patches & removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surface by hand roller 0.2 to 0.5 tonne roller and well rammed with power rammers to achieve 98% Procter density, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200mm thick DLC with 7 days strength as 10 Kg/Sqcm, design mix, using 40mm graded stone aggregate with minimum cement content 180 kg/cum including spreading, rolling and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick layer of coarse sand, spread, levelled, watered & well rammed, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 125 micron polythene film laid over sand layer including necessary cuttuing, overlap not less than with 75 mm side lap & 150 mm end lap, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Laps shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Sand layer shall be measured & paid seprately under relevent item.

M&L Ready Mix Concrete M-25 using 40mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Construction joints, dummy joints (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Brooming to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal while concrete is green, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 25mm wide expansion joints to a full depth of concrete filled with polyurethane joint sealant compounds using mechanical means to a depth of 12mm with minimum performance guarantee of 5 years and minimum movement accommodation facter (MAF) + 30% confirming to the requirements of BS- 5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis / water resistance test including 2 coats of primer and fixing approved quality backup 30 mm dia polyethylene rod over 25mm wide expansion pad in position as required as per manufacturers instructions, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The contractor shall submit written performance guarantee for 5 years to the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for forming 10mm wide construction joints by cutting upto 2/3 depth of total thickness filled with polyurethane joint sealant compounds using mechanical means to a minimum depth of 10mm with minimum performance guarantee of 5 years and minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) + 30% confirming to the requirements of BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN - 141875-2003 for Hydrolysis / water resistance test including 2 coats of primer and fixing approved quality of backup 12mm dia polyethylene rod in position as required as per manufacturers instructions using marking taps to avoid slippage on sides, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The contractor shall submit written performance guarantee for 5 years to the Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of Cement Concrete of in ground floor and as in pavings n.exc 15cm in thickness ( below or above ground level) in patches , & removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 (Type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in pavement sub base, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair 80mm thick Machine pressed precast cement concrete interlocking paver block with Grey cement and no pigment of any shape and size confirming to IS15658-2006, M-40 Grade and laying over and including 25mm thick sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in floor and finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in ground floor and as in pavings not exceeding 15cm in thickness ( below or above ground level) in patches & removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel bars TMT 10 mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required including bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 using 20 mm garded stone aggregate in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces and set in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in replacement to MAFI sign board sheet of different size outer body of complete polycarbonet transparant sheet 4mm thick with acrylic tape for back let board for letters as per existing MAFI, after fixing of sheet and letter the board should as per existing position etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Number and shape of letters cut from the tape shall be as direction of Eingineer-in-Charge as per existing board. (b)The rate of polycarbonet sheet, acrylic tap and cutting of letters from the tap etc shall deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L in replacement 4 mm thick ACP sheet 4'X4' size including letter numbering with 3m tape of BP as per site requirement, fixed to blastpan wall with the help of 4" screw with rawel plug minimum 6 Nos screw for each sheet in triangular / rectangular shape etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Grass cutting/vegetation clearance edges of Runway, PTT, MTT, all Links including all BPs, Area of all Sinage Boards and AFLS systems by Engine dirven Bush Cutter. 01 Sweeper is also to be provided by the Contractor or cleaning of Grass, Complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The grass after cutting should not be more than 50mm above ground level. 2. Work shall be carried out during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway, PTT & shoulder of runway & MTT etc, In case of no work is carried out or work is stopped due to flying Operations no extra compensation would be admissible to the contractor for non utilization of labour and machinery. 3. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Grass cutting/vegetation clearance Shoulder of Runway, PTT, MTT, and all Links including all BPs by Jungle Zim ( Tractor not less than 50 HP Capacity) including crew consisting of driver, Complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. The grass after cutting should not be more than 50mm above ground level. 2. Work shall be carried out during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway, PTT & shoulder of runway & MTT etc, In case of no work is carried out or work is stopped due to flying Operations no extra compensation would be admissible to the contractor for non utilization of labour and machinery. 3. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible.

Complete labour for removal of Grass and vegetation from all joints and interlocking tiles all along Airfields by manual labour, complete all as specified and directed.

Ploughing, leveling and making furrows in the existing Soft Ground Arrester (SGA) using agricultural instrument viz Tractor, leveller, plougher, tillers, furrowers including removal of Grass, shurbs, vegetation etc to a distance not less than 100m away from the end of SGA, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Unit rate quoted shall deemed to be included for T&P comprising of tractor, agricultural instrument and crew etc.

Cleaning of Monsoon drain all along Man overing / Airfield Area including cutting and cleaning all shurbs, grass vegetation, plants etc from inside portion of drain as well as on both side of drain (at ground level) and mud to be removed to a distance of 1.5m on both side and removing the same to a distance up to 500 m and dispositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
