M & L repairs to unserviceable street/security/solar light fittings of LED, of any wattage and size by taking down from poles/buildings after disconnecting the electric connection, renew the unserviceable drive ,PVC connector etc, cleaninng, refixing the light fittings at its original position after rectifying the defects and connecting to street light feeder including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No1: (i) Renewal of parts will be measured and paid seperatily as supply only (ii) The cost of labour and tools required for renewal of parts shall deemed to include in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.

Supply and fix in repair PVC insulated 3 core copper conductor cable of size 1.5 Sqmm sheathed 1100 volts including pvc conduit pipe conforming to IS 694 from junction box to street light fitting , all as specified and directed

M & L for drawing wiring complete with two run 1.5 sqmm FRLS single core PVC insulated unsheathed single core cable 1100 volts grade multistranded with copper conductor(ISI Marked) drawn through PVC conduit ,with one run of 1.5 sqmm FRLS single core multistranded copper conductors as earth continuity conductor including dismantling unserviceable wiring including accessories complete alls as specified and as directed.Note:(1) Two runs of cable & one run of earth continuity conductor shall be measured as one running meter.

Supply and fix in repair GI bracket made out of GI pipe 25/32 mm dia medium grade, 1.5 mtr long bent to shape and fixing on poles with MS clamps of suitable sizes etc complete, all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m deep for laying /removing of cable/ erection of poles in Soft loose soil all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

M&L riddled sand for cable cushioning in trenches all as specified and as directed. Note : Thickness of sand cushioning after punning down will be measured and paid.

Supply and lay sub class "B" burnt bricks of size 23x11.5x7.5 cm, laid length of brick perpendicular to length of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling in of soil including spreading leveling, watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point, and depositing where directed complete all as specified.

Supply and jointing as in repair straight through joint ,outdoor type 1100 volts grade ,heat shrinkable type suitable for 4/3.5 core ,10 sqmm to 25 sqmm LT,XLPE cable and testing after jointing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) ,Type C-1,(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in coping and the like including weathering,slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including formwork [straight or curved] complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced in ground floors and pavings not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) for laying UG cable or any other purpose complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repairs indicating lemps LED type set (R,Y,B) all as specified and directed.

M&L XLPE insulated PVC sheathed armoured with multistranded aluminium conductor cable having cross sectional area 10 sqmm 2 core cable 1100 volt grade ,Heavy grade conforming to IS :7098 (Part 1) laid in trenches/Ducts or passing through pipes or fixing on poles etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground /earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected to GI strip of 25x3 mm by means of nut, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No. 3, including necessary earth work and excavation , charcoal dust, common salt, PCC chamber, RCC cover 40mm thick 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars 75mm C/C both ways, test point and watering pipe complete, including connecting to earthing test point or to DB / Panel complete as directed by Engr in charge and testing resistance etc complete, including taking down old earthing complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i)The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for main earth lead from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 m only. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance not obtained as per IE rules the earthing will be redone by the contractor as directed by Engnr in charge with out any extra cost to Govt.

M & L for Inspection and carrying out B-Checks of 380 KVA DG Set Once in Six months or 300 Hours of Run whichever is earlier installed at various locations by representative / authorised Service Engineer of OEM of the DG Set including inspection, maintenance, changing all types of filters and servicing of DG Set including Alternator, Non AMF / AMF Panels connected to DG Sets for routine check-up including routine / preventive maintenance checks, checking up of engine and alternator for the smooth functioning as per the Manufacturer’s instructions including checking of Engine Oil Level, Oil Bath Cleaner Oil Level, Draining Sediments from Fuel Tank, checking of Pre Cleaner Dust Pan, Air Cleaner Restriction, Coolant Level, Recording Oil Pressure, Checking / Tightening of all Bolts / Nuts of Engine and Alternator, checking of AVM Pads, Diaphragm Coupling, Air Piping, cleaning of Oil Bath Air Cleaner Tray Screen, check / adjust Belts, checking Battery Voltage, Water Level and apply Jelly on Terminals, checking Fan Hub / Air Blower Hub and Water Pumps, cleaning of electrical connections with CTC solution, checking of safety controls, cleaning of Cooling System, cleaning of Engine and Radiator Assembly, including cleaning of Air Filter using Pressure Air, Corrosion Inhibitor, O Ring, Gaskets, Screws etc. and draining out old engine oil from oil chamber and removing deposited material including applying Grease, CRC in moving parts and draining out water from radiator assembly and refilling new after mixing with coolant including tightening of all inlet and outlet connections and replacing minor items such as Hose Clamp, Screws, Washers etc., cleaning of Roof, Floor of the DG Set Room complete all as specified and as directed. Overhauling periodic servicing of DG sets on-site complete to engine and alternator, consisting of normal periodic repairs, whenever by checking of pulleys/belts, checking desired output values of alternator, and checking for any defects, allignment and rectification of the same for smooth operation. replacement of defective / worn out parts by new spares such as filters, gaskets , V belts, rubber hoses , worm drive clamps ,nuts & bolts and cleaning of alternator with vaccum cleaner complete for DG Set 380 KVA capacity in various locations. Note : - Spares will be measured and paid in relevant item.

M& L for complete scraping of existing paints from fire fighting engine of capacity upto 92 HP/ DG Set of capacity upto 380 KVA thorough cleaning the surface from oil wet, rusted areas, applying 1 coat of metal primer and followed by two coats of synthetic enamel heat resistant paint by air compressor spray 2 coating all as specified including writing the SM / MES Nos. all as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for fixing, installation, testing and connecting of maintenance free tubular Battery of capacity 180 Ah 12 volts with charged/discharged and water level indicators including taking down of old damaged battery, all as specified. and as directed.

M&L for cleaning of fuel tanks of DG Sets mounted in any position by draining out fuel and keeping aside in safe custody and refilling of the same after cleaning of deposited sludge and all visible impurities for DG Sets installed at SMA Rameswaram 100-380 kVA all as directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for Engine Oil 15W40 in sealed HDPE container opened at site and toping up/refilling in DG Sets after draining of unserviceable engine oil by qualified meachanic as and when directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & Fix in onload change over switch 4 pole 400 Amps capacity including taking down of unserviceable item complete all as specified and as directed

S & F 4 pole 415V ,25 kA, MCCB 160 Amps with over load adjustable thermal release and short circuit adjustable magnetic type with spreader terminals and including making necessary connections, fixing to panel Boards and ensure compatibility with existing MCCB in fit and finish complete including taking down old unsv MCCB as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fix all in one solar LED illuminaries of capacity 40 W,battery capacity 18 Ah,autonomy 2 days mounting height 5 m,working temperature -10 °C to +55 °C including taking down of exisiting lights all as specified and directed.

M&L for pouring of salted water in to each earth pit through water pipe , minimum of 100 Ltrs dissolved with 5 Kgs of common salt to each earth pits / electrodes at various sub staions / buildings for improving the earth conditions , all as specified and as directed. Note :- . The contractor has to arrange wate and transport to various sub stations / installations for the above purpose and Testing of Earth resistance of Electrical earthings of various types , at various Buildings / sub stations by using digital type Electrical earth Tester instruments , registering the test results in the prescribed proforma including cleaning the earth chamber , identifying the earth lead wire , testing and writing by paint the test reults, date of testing etc. on the chambers all as specified and as directed . The job/test will be carried out in the presence of department staff and deatils registered all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning of surrounding of pump house and DG sets by cutting bushes and trimming grass once in two months all as specified and as directed.
