Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5mtr wide and not exc 1.5mtr depth and getting out in soft/loose complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning and filling of excavated soil including spreading,levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each.

Removal of surplus soil not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

M&L in repair earthing with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below the normal ground level connected with GI strip 25 x 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanished iron in steel including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m, with and including PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4), type B1,using (20mm graded stone aggregate), "mild steel angle iron frame" made out of MS angle iron of size 40x 40 x 6 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer hinged with and including 6mm thick CI cover with handle, watering arrangement with funnel internally secured with wire mesh with 20mm dia medium grade pipe for watering & 40mm dia light grade, GI pipe for lead protection & including alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt complete all as shown in electrical "plate No '3' of SSR and connected to earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Maintenance and attending complaints / breakdowns at NAD Technical area and NAD Residential area comprising of LT panels, over head lines/ underground LT cables upto main distribution boards at buildings including repairs of day to day maintenance of LT panels/Perimeter lights for smooth & trouble free LT power supply as directed by Engr-In-charge including rectification of minor defects to electrical controls gear/accessories.

Note :- The rate quoted is inclusive for the following :- (i) (a) Attending minor repairs/breakdowns without involving any new (major) materials. (b) Cost includes the tools for attending break down and minor materials like lugs and PVC tapes,Job Cards and Complaint registers etc. (c) Major repairs,Break downs invloving S&F of materials such as cables,Joints,MCCBs etc are out side the scope of this item and shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Contractor should ensure to carry out the work through qualified Technician/Electrician and assisted by the helper. Necessary tools & plants and transportation charges are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Cuting of trees / bushes in surrounding of LT Panels of any size and complete cleaning of grass upto 1.5 mtr radius area around the panel area.

Excavation of cable size 70 Sqmm to 300 Sqmm from its loop, cleaning, cutting of old termination kit and refix with suitable lugs alongwith refilling of cable with existing sand and bricks.
