Fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 300mm dia 6.4 mm thick M.S. rising main {from RD-901m to RD-1000m}. The pipe shall be laid along the corridor to be provided by concerned civil irrigation division the pipe shall be welded end to end with two runoff electric arc welding using high quality electrodes by D.C/AC, all types welding machine. The job includes earth excavation in all types of soil mainly rocky type necessary for proper alignment. The job includes preparation for V-groove at pipe ends for leak proof joints. The pipe shall be provided with two coats of anti-corrosive paint. The pipe is to be laid along terrific uphill slope (steep terrain) by deploying highly skilled professionals which is the most difficult part of the job. The necessary tools and tackles are to be provided by the firm. SPECIFICATIONS: Nominal diameter of pipe = 300 mm Thickness of pipe = 6.4 mm Length of each pipe = 04-06 metre Type of welding = EFW Number of longitudinal joints in case of EFW pipe =1 Number of circumferential joints in case of EFW pipe=1-2 Test pressure = 10 kg/cm2
