OUTSOURCING SERVICES FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF RADAR OPEN TEST PLATFORM AND SUBSTATIONS AT LRDE TECH AREA UNDER GE(I) RndD (WEST) BANGALORE

Providing services including operation of HT & LT plants with associated panels and other equipments etc., installed at NEW MED, PCB, A3MTDC and ‘L’ Star sub stations complete with trained manpower Electrician - 04 Nos (02 Nos for first shift and 01 No each for second shift and third shift), & Helper - 04 Nos (02 Nos for first shift and 01 No each for second shift and third shift) including operation of security lights on buildings of entire LRDE lab area (details of plant for which services to be provided and operated are given as per Appendix ‘A’) for 24 hours in 3 shifts (1st shift from 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs, 2nd shift from 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs, 3rd shift from 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs) including Sundays and Holidays complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES FOR SL ITEM Nos 1 TO 3 :- (i) Details of equipment/services to be maintained are indicated as appendices in PS. (ii) The work also includes cleaning of working areas, equipments, sub stations building and maintenance of garden areas. (iii) Reliever to be employed at no extra cost to Govt. (iv) Tenderer's attention is drawn to minimum wages, payable (applicable from time to time) as notified by Govt Of India / State Govt / Local body whichever is higher, EPF, ESI and connected taxes as applicable before quoting their rates. The provisions of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, ESI payments shall be strictly adhered to by the Tenderer. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF and ESI paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments.

Notes Contd., (v) Log sheet including proper recording of all operating parameters in the prescribed log book/register shall be maintained by the contractor in the installation for periodical check by the Engineer-in-charge. (vi) Manning of HT sub station consists of hourly monitoring, recording of readings prompt restoration of feeders at times of tripping and ensuring minimum down time. (vii) Periodical inspection of equipments like transformers HT/ LT panel boards 4/2 pole structures for uneven sounds and report the same to Engineer-in-charge immediately. (viii) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proofs of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, the cost for the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations in force lies with the tenderer. (ix) Absent from duty of technician is not permissible as E&M services are essential in nature. However, the absence will invite penalty as described in Sch 'A' notes and recovery from bill shall be done through recovery statement.The tenderer will have no claim whatsoever on this account and decision of Accepting officer in this regard will be final and binding. (x) Cleaning, periodical maintenance of equipments, 4/2 pole structures, earthings as per the schedule specified in PS and maintain the records.

Running and operation of Radar Test Platform winch house, locking pin cabin, mono rail hoist, lift, DG set including cleaning of yard, structure and all units of RTP for smooth and trouble free operation for one shift in a day from 08.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs (with one hour lunch break) including Sundays and Holidays with man power as under;all as specified and as directed. (i) Supervisor - 01 No. (ii) RTP Operator - 01 No. (iii) Winch motor operator attendant for top & bottom - 04 Nos (iv) Lift operator - 01 No.

All as per Serial Item No 2.00 here-in-above, but for manning addiitonal hours beyond the period covered under Sl Item No 2 above i.e. after 17.30 hrs / Holidays for Radar Test Platform if required and specifically ordered by Engineer-in-Charge/GE. NOTE: - Rate for whole working team comprising of minimum essential persons shall be quoted for this Item.
