Transport Engineering and design of Bridge Jumper/Structural at Kaliyani River Crossing(refer scope of work Part-A)
Design the most suitable SPMT configuration for transportation of the aforementioned study subjects, based on the inputs from route survey and design the most suitable SPMT configuration for each type of cargo. Once the design is identified, create transport drawing of the ODC/OWC This design will, at minimum, achieve the axle-load below 15Te/axle due to the road condition.Design the bridge jumper/Structural arrangement for an approximate 75mtr-wide Kaliyani River (bidder to survey at site for the actual width) .This is the only major river crossing of this route. Specify the requirement of the piers for bridge jumper. prepare and submit bridge drawing for bridge jumper/structural girder over across Kaliyani River. Provide a drawing including loads on each piers, nos. of piers, spacing of Piers, size of piers and other technical inputs required for further design and construction of civil structure / piers for supporting the bridge jumper/structural members. Submission of GA drawing of the bridge jumper/Structural configuration. Nos. of piers shall be minimum as far as possible in view of probable river water flow obstruction during monsoon. Effort shall be to design with two piers. In any case number of piers shall not exceed 03 excluding two abutments. (Construction of Approach road on the both sides of the rivers shall be in the scope of NRL)
Jetty development works (refer scope of work Part-A)
Jetty modification, New basuin/new jetty construction (if required), modification/construction of facilities required at jetty for performing Ro-Ro- operation,other peripherial job in jetty other than hard stand and approach road .

Re-Erection and dismantling of Bridges
