Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for.Complete all as specified directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar. Complete all as specified directed.

Roughening of surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. Complete all as specified directed.

Dismantling floor,heart or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding but nor baking removing serviceable tiles to stores and rubbish off the premises. Complete all as specified directed and directed.

Taking down : Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

Removing building materials etc. other than spoil upto a distance of 1.0 Km, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination.

Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks straight or curved in plan with 1:6 cement mortar. Complete all as specified and directed.

Stone Masonry : Walling of Squared Rubble regular coursed Stone masonry, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in with 1:6 cement mortar, Complete in all respects as specified and directed.

Damp proof course to horizontal or vertical surfaces In cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0, 40 mm thick including necessary formwork .

Flush Pointing with 1:4 cement mortar to square rubble, coursed, well bonded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar as directed.

Vitrified tiles : Supply and laying of Light shade vitrified tiles 10 mm thick (Square/Rectangle) polished , area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match. Floor tile finish glossy/mat/ antiskid will be as decided by EIC. Complete all as specified and directed . Make : Johnson, Orient bell, AGL as approved by EIC.

GRANITE : S&F Granite 25 mm thk (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite. Complete all as specified and directed.

FLOOR TILING :Supply & fixing Coloured non skid ceramic tiles in flooring, 7 to 8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sqm but not exceeding 0.11 Sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match all as specified and directed. Make: Johnson/ Kajarai/ Orient Bell

SCREED BED : Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick for laying floor finishes with cement mortar 1:6. Complete all as specified and directed.

Plastering : Rendering of 10mm thick plastering with 1:6 cement mortar on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces. Complete in all respects as specified and directed.

Rounding to edges of stone slabs / granite one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations. Complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of Wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Taking down wooden wall panelling of any description and similar work as directed.

Snap grid : Supply and fixing of 605x605 mm snap grid Gl frame work for seamless ceiling comprising of Gl perimeter channnel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section (not exc 1.2 m length) of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre. POP ceiling : Providing 10 mm thick plaster of Paris (gypsum anhydrous) ceiling up to a height of 5 m above floor level, over first class kail wood strips 25x6 mm with 10 mm gap in between and reinforced with rabbit wire mesh fixed to wooden frame (frame work to be paid separately). UPVC window / Ventelator : Supply and fixing factory made UPVC white colour fixed glazed window/ventilator made of (small series) frame 47 x 50 mm mullion 47 x 68 mm both having wall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension . Complete all as specified and directed. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality,

UPVC window : Three track three panels sliding window with fly proof S.S wire mesh (Two nos. glazed & one no. wire mesh panels) upto 1.50m height made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. Wooden Wall panelling : S & F of Prelaminated particle board 18/19 mm thick, interior grade, prelaminated one side with decorative choice lamination & other side balancing white lamination, fixed with screws to timber frame work. Complete as specified and directed at site.

Wooden panelling frame work : S&F of battens frame work using wooden clean sawn 2nd class soft wood battens of cross sectional area exc. 15 & not exc. 25 sq.cm at a spacing of 35 centres. Complete as specified and directed at site.

PCC paving : PCC 1:4:8 in floors/ paving of type D-2, 1:4:8 with 40mm graded aggregate, 100 mm thick. Complete all as specified and directed.

Earth work in excavation in all kind of soils by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Soling (or sub base) of spread thickness 150 mm with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber. Complete all as specified and directed.

Hard core with broken stone/ boulders of gauge not exc. 63mm, deposited, spread leveled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, and watered consolidated to required gradient & camber including watering. Complete all as specified and directed.

Moorum filling in floors or pavings laid in layers not exe. 15cm thick , spread leveled and rammed including watering. Complete all as specified and directed

Stone sett flooring (M&L) with stone setts of size 200 to 250mm long, 150 to 200mm wide and 150mm deep and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, joints 20mm thick; grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardner 5% by weight of cement and struck flush. Complete all as specified and directed.

Edge stones to flooring (M&L) with stone setts of size 250 to 300mm long x l50 to 200mm wide, and 450mm deep and and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, joints 20mm thick; grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardner 5% by weight of cement and struck flush. Complete all as specified and directed.

PCC paving : PCC 1:2:4 in floors/ paving of type B-2, with 40mm graded aggregate, 100 mm thick. Including finishing concrete surface even and smooth surface without using extra cement. Complete all as specified and directed.

Wearproof topping 20 mm thick using CC 1:2:4, as specified incorporating an approved metallic floor hardner), laid on concrete floors and pavings, and finished even and smooth (except metallic hardner). Complete all as specified and directed.

CC chequered tiles : S&F of cement concrete chequered tiles with grey pigment cement and pigments(Coloured tiles) for pavements. size of tile 20cm x20cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors. Complete all as specified and directed.

PCC paving : PCC 1:3:6 in floors/ paving of type C-2, with 40mm graded aggregate, 100 mm thick. Complete all as specified and directed.

Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints for 100 thick slabs filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A. ’ Complete all as specified and directed.

Structural steel (S&F) : Structural steel work confirming to Fe-410 W (Gde-E-250) quality-A Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Roofing sheet : Supply and fixing of pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated/ trapezoidal profile roofing sheets of thickness 0.5 mm having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering / cladding to wall with self tapping screws etc. Make : TATA / Jindal /Essar. Complete all as specified and directed.

PCC : Providing, cement concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in in lintels upto 1.5m clearspan, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating. complete as specified and directed.

Kerb stone : Providing precast cement concrete using Type-B1, 1:2:4 20 mm graded aggregate in window or doorcills, lintels, bressumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with ma- sonry), string courses, copings. kneelers, apex stones, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks, bonders (for stone walling). corbels, brackets, etc. with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throat- ing etc. and setting in mortar 1:4. Surface painting : Removal of old tarfelt sheets, Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of roof tops and surface painting, with a layer of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane' @ 0.50 ltr/sqm by the same membrane manufacturere of density at 25° C, 0.87-0.89 Kg/ltr and viscosity 70-160 cps and then left the surface 4 to 8 hours for drying. Complete as specified and directed.

Bitumen Tack coat / Seal coat : Applying surface bitumen coat Seal / Tack coat with lndustrial bitumen 85/25 for waterproofing treatments at the rate of 1.2 kg / sqm .

Water proofing treatment (M&L) : Rendering water proofing treatment to RCC roof slabs including vertical surfaces with APP based polymetric membrane sheet, minimum 3 kg/sqm and minimum 3.0 mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) evenly laid on primed surfaces by forced application by torch on treatment. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be : Tensile strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23° C as 650/450/5 cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250 N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150° C. Cold flexibility shall be up to 2° c when tested in accordance with ASTM, D-5147. The laying of membrane shall be done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane. Membrane make : STP / Dr. Fixt / IWL as approved by EIC.

Carrying and disposal of debris : Removing building materials etc. to a distance of 1.5 KM or under including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination. Complete all as specified and directed at site.

Rolling shutter : S&F of Steel rolling shutters 1.25 mm thickness of lathe, with out ball bearing, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer; erected in position as indicated, complete: but gear operated type with bevel gear box and crank handle. Complete all as specified and directed.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 m deep in drains etc in loose/soft soils and getting out

Scarifying : Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc. 400 sqm and the thickness Exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm deep

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Macadam : Premix bituminous, macadam with paving bitumen any penetration laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less). Complete all as specified and directed.

Pot holes : Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm. Complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen at 5 kg per 10 sq metre. Complete as specified and directed.
