Making common trench by digging earth of depth 900mm and width 600 mm and filling earth after cable laying (laying of cable covered in other item) and ramming including making the road as good as before where road cutting is required etc.

Laying of power cable of following size including drawing of cable from Store yard, shifting to colony site, filling of sand, dressing, brick protection from top and side, refilling with sand and earth in a common trench (trench making is covered in other item.). The work includes making the road as good as before where cutting of road is required

Upto 4 X 16 sq.mm power cable.

From 3.5X50 sq.mm and Up to 3.5X150 sq.mm power cable.

Supply of GI pipe medium density 'B' class (Blue) confirming to IS 1239 part I of nominal bore size 80 mm. Make: Tata/ Jindal.

Jointing of power cables by providing cable jointing kits of following size.

Supply of Straight Through, Cold compound Cable Jointing Kit 1.1KV suitable for jointing of cable size upto 4C X 25sq.mm.

Supply of Straight Through, Cold compound Cable Jointing Kit 1.1KV suitable for jointing of cable size upto 4C X50 sq.mm.

Supply of 3.5 X 150 sq.mm Straight Through, Cold compound Cable Jointing Kit 1.1KV Make : 3M

Jointing of Cable upto 4 / 3.5 C ×50 sq.mm using jointing kit.

Jointing of Cable from 4 / 3.5 C ×120sq.mm to 4/3.5C X 300 sq.mm. using jointing kit.

Provision of earthing with connection complete in all respect with GI pipe medium density 'B' class (Blue) confirming to IS 1239 part I length 3 mtrs., bore 50 mm. Digging pit and refilling it with charcoal and salt in successive layer . Masonry enclosure of 45cm × 45cm × depth 1 feet (inside) with thickness 250mm, RRC cover should be provided at top, water funnel etc. as per drawing and IS 3043. Grouting of a GI strip of size 6mm x 50mm with holes in nearest point on wall and connection with earth electrode. (All material will be supplied by the contractor)

Laying of GI strips of size upto 50mm X 6mm from earth pit/grid to earthing terminal with connection by cutting, welding, strip bolting inside ground/along wall with saddling as per tech specs.

Making cable end termination with brass compression gland and Heavy duty copper lugs of cable size upto 4/3.5 X 25 sq.mm PVC insulated and PVC sheathed aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade. (Supply of Gland and lugs are in contractor's scope)

Making cable end termination with brass compression gland and Heavy duty copper lugs of cable size from 3.5 X 50 to 3.5 X 70 sq. mm PVC insulated and PVC sheathed aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade. (Supply of Gland and lugs are in contractor's scope)

Making cable end termination with brass compression gland and Heavy duty copper lugs of cable size from 3.5 X 120 to 3.5 X 150 sq. mm PVC insulated and PVC sheathed aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade. (Supply of Gland and lugs are in contractor's scope)

Fixing of pole box on rcc/tubular concrete electical pole by 2nos. pole mounting clamps made from 25mm X 3mm GI strip The scope of work also includes glanding of incoming and outgoing cables (Gland supply is under contractor's scope) & end termination of cables in the junction box, marking & numbering on pole box.

Laying of cable for streetlight on poles including saddling and termination in streetlight fitting(upto 10mtr. height Poles)

Laying of upto 4×10 sq.mm armoured cable on surface/wall using saddles (Supply of saddles are contractor's scope)

Connection / disconnection of jumper of LT over head line, after taking proper safety precaution and ACSR conductor jointing ( per three phase and ancillary wires etc. i.e. up to 6 wires ).

Supply and installation of cable route marker/joint marker of 10cm X 10cm X 5mm thick MS plate with insciption there on, bolted & welded to 35mm X 35mm X 6mm angle iron, 60cm long with cement concrete 1:2:4(1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Minor maintenance & fixing of door on pillar distribution box by providing hinges, cutting, welding work. Spray painting of overall outside body of PDB(1900mm L X 500mm W X 1850mm H) by providing paint, primer, thinner etc. Lettering on feeder covers and outdoor cover of the PDB.

Commissioning of 415V, 3-phase neutral Outdoor, pillar distribution box: Fixing of nut & bolts,Earthing, testing of panels as per the checklist & as instructed by EIC, making of brick wall and sandilling between pedestal, leveling of the surface, removal of extra soil near PDB as per detail technical specifications enclosed.

Supply & fixing of welding type Feeder door locks suitable for hole dia 19mm.

Supply and installation of 9W LED bulb, B22 Cap size in the PDBs. Fixing of lamp in an angle holder mounted on a switch board inside PDB including wiring.(supply of only lamp is in contractor's scope)

Supply of cement concrete 1:2:4(1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Dismantling of laid power cable on pole of following size

Upto 3.5 X 35 sq.mm power cable.

From 3½ 50 sq.mm. and Up to 3 X 300 sq. mm power cable.

Dismantling of over head materials & Over head conductors (upto 6 conductors) and safe deposit at plant site store.

Excavation of earth in all types of soil and back filling and ramming and leveling as per the direction of EIC as when required.

Disposal of excees soil by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to nearby dumping ground for lead upto 2 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
