2 Service ,Maintenance and Repair of cooling tower No 2 installed at the terrace for main Air Conditioning chiller plant of GMCH, Jammu by way of closing the water supply to the tower and removing the algae, mold formation and scaling manually from the collection tank and then cleaning with the help of water pressure pump. The job includes repairing/sealing of leaking joints of the water collection tank basin with the help of M-seal/araldite. The job includes replacement of the worn out parts i.e polypropylene ABS nozzles 06 No’s sets, distribution valves 02 No’s . drive shaft 01 No. , water distribution piping 02 sets, cooling tower fan – 01 No and cooling tower motor vertically sealed 7.5 HP- 01 No. The job also includes repairing of both the cooling tower structures and cold water basins. The job also includes fitting of heavy gauge chicken wire mesh so that monkeys and birds do not enter the water collection tank. The job also includes providing and replacement of the damaged/worn out LT Power cables of 35 mm Dia 3.5 core (Armoured) 135 meter in length from main air conditioning chiller plant up to the cooling tower (terrace).
