Housekeeping of CWPH&FWPH: Operational assistance & Housekeeping of CWPH & FWPH in G Shift: Cleaning of dirt, oil, grease etc. from the valves, motors, pumps, connected pipelines Removal of dirt from panel boards, cable racks of the above building. House keeping of CWPH & FWPH. The contractor has to clean the dirt, oil, grease etc. from all the equipments, accessories, cable tray, panel boards, cable racks, building cobwebs available in and out of the pump houses including inlet pipelines and valve pit of the three reservoirs. The floor cleaning of the area is also to be taken up on daily basis. The pump house floors are to be water washed daily. The contractor has to assist in topping of oil in the equipments. Roof cleaning of the buildings to be done periodically

Housekeeping of clfr,GFH &N.pit: Housekeeping of Clariflocculator, GFH & Neutralization Pit Cleaning of dirt, deposits etc from of all the launders of the clariflocculators, gravity filter inlet launders, different gate valves, piping situated in gravity filter house( GFH). Cleaning of dirts oil grease etc.from all valves, pumps motors and connecting pipelines of neutralization system( NP Pump area) Acid/Alkali transfer pumps, Acid/Alkali storage tanks The members of bridges are to be cleaned properly for better housekeeping. Roof cleaning of the buildings to be done periodically The vegetation growth is to be cleaned from the launder of the clariflocculators.Clariflocculator rim has to be cleaned for safe movement of the working personnel. During rainy season, bleaching powder to be used for cleaning algae/fungi from the rims of the clariflocculators.

Housekeeping of IPH: Housekeeping & Operational assistance of Intake pump house in G shift : Cleaning of dirt, oil, grease etc. from the pumps, motors, and different equipments installed at intake pump house, Cleaning of cable racks, panel boards. The floor cleaning of the area is also to be taken up on daily basis. Assistance to be extended for filling up lube oil in the pumps.Roof cleaning of the building is to be done periodically.

Shifting & handling of bulk materials: Shifting of bulk materials & chemicals from central store toWTP in G-shift. Handling / transfer of materials like lubricating oil/bulk chemicals/filter media from the stores, transportation of materials from one place to another place inside theWT Plant as per the instruction of Manager-in-charge/Shift in charge The transportation of the material fully lies in the scope of the contractor. The agency has to arrange any transport vehicle required to carry out the job. The contractor has to take all safety measures to execute the job safely within stipulated time. The contractor can not object for the vehicle or trolley required. Payment will be charged on the contractor for hiring NALCO vehicle/hydra/crane/trolley. The chlorine cylinders are to be shifted from CWPH/RCPH/Central store to chemical house/other areas of W.T.Plant. and vice-versa safely and in a time bound manner.

House keepoperatioNassistance dmp: Operational assistance & Housekeeping at DM Plant in shift Cleaning of all exchangers, filters, Acid/Alkali dosing pumps Cleaning of Acid/Alkali solution tanks, Brine solution preparation tank . Cleaning of dirt, oil grease deposited on pumps, motors, valves, pipelines of DM Plant and regeneration room. Carrying out handles, materials from one place to other place, Opening of valves and such other miscellaneous works The contractor has to arrange to clean the acid/alkali unloading area and all the pumps and pipelines, valves and the storage tanks. The chemical proof tile floor are to cleaned/water washed after each unloading from the road tankers. The unloading hose and the water pipes are to be kept properly to avoid any accident to the equipments and the manpower deployed there. The manpower has to be deployed by the contractor one per shift. The floor cleaning of the area is also to be taken up on daily basis. Building cobwebs and other unwanted materials are to be cleaned properly. The DMPlant and regeneration room floors are to be water washed on daily basis to follow 5S norm in the plant.

House keeping at CLPH & PTDP: Operational assistance & Housekeeping at CLPH & PTDP in G shift House keeping of the operating floor. Roof cleaning of the building to be taken up periodically. Lifting of chemicals from ground floor to tank level by hoist operation or by manual lifting. Assisting in Preparation of alum/PAC, soda, & poly solution for dosing Cleaning of deposited Oil/grease on stirrer, pumps, and motors, Water washing of the pump house & cleaning of solution tanks. Opening of valves and other miscellaneous works related to shift . The contractor has to assist in topping of oil in the equipments.Roof cleaning of the buildings to be done periodically

House keep at IDWRS: Operational assistance & Housekeeping at IDWRS in shift Assisting in making Solution of Poly electrolyte/PAC and other chemicals in the tanks. Opening of valves and other miscellaneous works related to shift Assisting in dosing of different chemicals in the settling basin. Cleaning of gate valve, screen etc for smooth operation of the system. Cleaning of pumps, motors, & agitators. The floor cleaning of the area is also to be taken up on daily basis.PAC/soda bags/poly drums are to be shifted from the storage location to IDWRS/PTDP for filling in the solution tanks.Solution to be prepared for dosing in 24 hours.If the solution tanks get empty,immediately solution to be prepared for dosing and maintaining the quality of the water.Both the screens at the inlet channel to settling basin to be cleaned on daily basis.Petroleum sorbent booms to be put in settling basin and the used one to be removed as and when required.Roof cleaning of the building to be done periodically. Strainer to be cleaned as and when required.

Lifting/handling of PAC/alum: Handling of Alum /PAC in G shift Digging and loosening of compacted alum from the store yard. Lifting/shifting of Alum/PAC from chemical house ground floor to solution preparation tank level by safe handling of hoist/manually. Transportation of alum/other chemicals with in the premises of WT Plant. Assisting in Preparation of required concentration of alum/PAC solution is must. Cleaning of spilled alum on floors, tank trays, walkways etcStacking of chemicals in right fashion. House keeping of alum stockyard. The quantum of PAC/Alum may vary from 0 to 7MT on daily basis depending upon the quality of raw water and clarified water. The contractor should not raise any objection relating to quantity of PAC/alum shifted/lifted. The contractor has to clean the chlorine toner room, chlorinator room, metering pump floor,flash mixer and stilling chamber area. All the floors of the building should be water washed daily. Care should be taken in such a fashion that no PAC liquid/alum should be spilled on the floor. More than 1MT of PAC/alum should not be lifted in the bucket of the hoist in one go. The solution of alum or PAC if required any time in the day, the same should be prepared without any hesitation. The water valves are to be operated by the contractor as and when required for preparing the solution. The alum slabs/PAC drums are to be kept properly for safe and easy handling of PAC/alum. The alum tank top is to be cleaned daily to avoid any accident. The contractor has to assist for unloading of PAC liquid from the road tankers. The PAC unloading area, pumps, pipelines are to be cleaned by the contractor. One unit shall be treated as preparation of alum solution in all 06 nos. tanks with required concentration . 01 No. shall be treated as preparation of solution in all 06 (six) Tanks.

lifting/handling of soda ash: Handling of Sodium Carbonate in G shift Lifting / shifting / Transporting of Sodium Carbonate from ground floor of chemical house by safe handling of hoist/manually and preparation of solution come under the purview of the contractor..Addition of Sodium carbonate in the channels (manually) as per requirement Housekeeping of Soda stockyard & stacking of chemicals Cleaning of spilled chemical from Soda Mixing tank trays & walk ways The weight of one soda bag is 50/75kgs. The quantum of soda ash may vary from 0 to 5MT on daily basis depending upon the quality of raw water and clarified water. The contractor should not raise any objection relating to quantity of soda ash shifted/lifted. The care should be taken in such a way that the bags should be kept intact till unloading in the soda solution tanks. The stitch of the bags should be remove inside the tanks and the bags removed. Each bag weighs 50/75kgs.The tank top is to be cleaned daily to avoid environmental pollution. The storage area of soda is to be kept clean and in orderly manner. One unit shall be treated as preparation of soda solution in all 06 nos. tanks with required concentration. 01 No. shall be treated as preparation of solution in all 06 (six) Tanks.

clng of clfr at w.t.plant during running: Cleaning of the sludge from Clariflocculator. This job is intermittent in nature. This job will be carried out during clfr in operation/service./The contractor has to take adequate safety measures to carry out the job . The job includes removing/cleaning organic growth,mud,sand and other unwanted materials from the launders of the clfrs.The rim of the clfrs are to be cleaned on daily basis to enable the working people to move safely on the rim for operation and maintenance work.

Cleaning of clfr during O/H: Cleaning of clarifier during O/H: Mobilization of adequate man power for cleaning of the sludge from Clarifloculator.This job is intermittent in nature in G shift The sludge/mud/sand is to be cleaned from the inside of the clariflocculatrs after emptying out the water. The job includes cleaning and water washing of the clarifiers. The contractor has to collect the fire hydrant hose from the store room and after cleaning the same to be returned after cleaning and washing. One clariflocculator is to be cleaned within 04days.

Resin top up: Resin top up: The job is to be completed within one day in G shift. No transport vehicle will be provided by NALCOThe resin has to be lifted in the buckets/HDPE bags with all safety measures.PPE should be used while lifting resin to the top of the exchangers.

Resin removal & filling: Resin removal: The job is to be completed within one day in G shuft.. No transport vehicle will be provided by NALCO.

Top up of anthracite/carbon/sand: Top up of anthracite/carbon/sand: The job is to be completed within one day in G shift. No transport vehicle will be provided by NALCO. NALCOThe anthracite/carbon/sand has to be lifted in the buckets/HDPE bags with all safety measures.PPE should be used while lifting anthracite/carbon/sand to the top of the ACFs/PFs.

Removal &filling of carbon/sand/anthrcit: Removal of carbon/anthracite/sand: The job is to be completed within one day in G shift. No transport vehicle will be provided by NALCO

Disposal of waste resin/carbon/sand: Disposal of waste resin/carbon/sand/anthracite: The job is to be completed within one day in G shift. No transport vehicle will be provided by NALCO. Disposal of waste resin/carbon/sand/anthracite to be done as per the instruction of the mgr-in-charge.The transport vehicle for this job has to be arranged by the contractor. One no. shall be treated as waste generated from one exchanger bed which may vary from 01 to 04 MT.

Cleaning of settling basin at IDWRS: Cleaning of IDWRS: The job has to be completed within one week after getting the instruction of engr-in-charge. All the tools and tackles are to be arranged by the contractor. The contractor has to arrange the transport vehicle to shift the waste recovered from the IDWRSystem.The slurry, mud, sludge etc are to be removed from inlet channel to settling basin, settling basin, pump pit, pump house floor, sludge pump pit and connected drains. The waste material collected to be disposed off at the designated location shown by NALCO by own arrangement of the contractor. The areas include settling basin,pump pit,inlet channel,screens,sludge pump pit and other connected areas.
