TERRACE
Dismantling cement mortar flooring including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles above 25 mm and up to 40 mm
Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.
Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge 25 mm average thickness
Providing and applying crystalline mortar by mixing in the ratio of 4.5 : 1 (4.5 parts crystalline mortar : 1 part water) for the treatment of faulty construction joints, cracks, tie rod holes and spalled & honeycombed surface of RCC underground structures like basement, water tanks, bridge deck etc. to ensure water tightness. The crystallie mortar shall conform to the EN 1504-3 having compressive strength Class R4 (?45 MPa) and adhesive bond strength Class R3 (?1.5 MPa). The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage. For sealing cracks and faulty construction joints, routed out/making U-shape groove size 25x25mm and then primed the area with integral crystalline slurry @0.05kg/running meter and while the surface is tacky filled the groove upto surface with crystalline mortar @1.50kg/running meter. Once crystalline mortar is touch dry then finally applied two coats of integral crystalline slurry @0.05kg/running meter per coat. After the application of the crystalline treatment, continuous water curing by spraying is essential to facilitate proper penetration into the substrate. The crystallization process is activated by the presence of moisture and continues to grow within the concrete pores and capillaries. Therefore, maintaining a consistently damp surface is critical to ensure the formation of insoluble crystals. The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by Engineer in Charge:
Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Removal of all loose, damaged, and unsound concrete around the pedestal areas by mechanical means, followed by surface cleaning with clean water to remove dust, laitance, and other contaminants. The exposed concrete surface shall be treated with an approved two-component epoxy bonding agent to ensure monolithic bonding between old and new concrete. After the bonding coat becomes tacky, a high-strength, shrinkage-compensated, fiber-reinforced structural repair mortar conforming to EN 1504-3 Class R4, shall be applied using formwork or shuttering to the required thickness. Renderoc HSXtra shall be mixed and applied strictly as per the manufacturer’s instructions. In areas with larger voids or deep sections, suitable Microconcrete shall be poured or pumped into the formwork to fill gaps completely, ensuring consolidation and crack-free repair. Curing shall be carried out using water curing or curing compounds as per standard procedures and technical guidelines.
Check all existing PVC pipe surfaces at the mouth and remove any damaged packing around the outlets. Fill the gaps with M-60 grade high-strength, non-shrink cementitious grout of approved make by suitable means ( Free flowing / pump),curing etc. Complete as per directions of Engineer-incharge. Seal around the pipe outlets using a single-component, highly elastomeric sealant in two or more coats @ 0.80 kg/ m with an avg width of 30 cm. Apply the first coat of polyurethane-based coating and fix corner tapes, then apply a second coat of polyurethane-based coating
Slope correction with polymer modified mortar: (Wherever the slope correction is upto 15mm) Checking the existing slope to identify areas of depression and water stagnation. These areas will be corrected and leveled to ensure smooth water flow using self-leveling, cementitious floor reprofiling materials.

These areas will be corrected first by leveling with polymer-modified, fiber-reinforced repair mortar with a minimum compressive strength (EN:12190) of ≥ 45 MPa, followed by the application of self-leveling, cementitious floor reprofiling materials to ensure smooth water flow.
Providing and applying two component, instant setting, 100% solids, spray applied polyurea waterproofing coating having tensile strength greater than 18 MPa (As per ASTM D412), elongation of >300% (as per ASTM D 412), adhesion to concrete of 2MPa (as per ASTM D 4541), puncture resistance of 1000N (as per ASTM 154) and static crack bridging of up to 2mm (as per ASTM C836). The coating shall be applied with a total consumption of 1.7 Kg/sqm to achieve a DFT of 1.5mm satisfying the requirements of LAM as per ASTM C 898 and shall be applied on the entire horizontal surface continuing up to entire height of the parapets and covering the upstands. The system includes base preparation of cleaning, brushing and removal of flacky materials, angle fillet treatment, priming the surface with two component solvent free epoxy primer applied with a total consumption of 200grams/sqm, followed by spray application Polyurea with a plural spraying machine in 2 or more coats. On completion of the work the area needs to be tested by ponding of water as per the instruction of engineer in charge. Mode of measurement will be actual area treated
On completion of waterproofing application, providing and fix 200gsm non woven Polypropylene geo textile membrane with over lap of minimum 50mm as protective medium before screed concrete or flooring works
20 mm cement plaster of mix: 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) Screeding for obtaining required slope
12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix: 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand)
UV-resistant topcoat on top of the waterproofing system: On top of the hybrid polyurea coating, supplying and appyling two component ultra high performance polyaspartic polyurea protective top sealer having excellent adhesion bond strength >2MPa (as per ASTM D 4541) and applied with a total consumption of 200g/sqm using a brush/roller as a seamless coating to form a very tough yet flexible film with superior UV and chemical resistance.
