Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5mtr wide & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth; for foundation, laying/taking out pipes/cables etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out, in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed. Note: In case excavation is being done for existing LT/HT UG cable line, the old bricks/brick bats as in cable protection obtained during excavation shall be credited to contractor.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each in in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Sand cushioning with fine dry sand to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cm thick after laying and stretching of cable) complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & laying old size, common burnt clay, sub class 'B' bricks, designation 75, laid flat & dry for protection of electric cable in trenches, adjacent to each other, perpendicular to central axis of electric cable complete all as specified & directed.

M&L plain cement concrete(PCC) 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L plain cement concrete(PCC) 1:3:6, type C-1, using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in coping to pole/stay/panel etc. including necessary formwork to exposed surface finished even & smooth complete all as specified & directed.

M&L plain cement concrete(PCC) 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in coping to pole/stay/panel etc. including necessary formwork to exposed surface finished even & smooth complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cutting of road / hard standing upto size not exceeding 20cm in width and not exceeding 60cm in depth for laying of cable protection pipe including making good the disturbed road/hard standing by providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 to mach the existing surface level and removing cut material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & filling transformer oil of dielectric strength not less than 60 BDV to comply IS-335 of 1993 in company sealed barrels complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Empty container shall be returned to contractor after use of oil.

Dehydration/centrifuging transformer oil by means Ultra High Vaccum double stage machine to remove impurities from oil such as moisture, dirt, air and other gases at site of installation in running condition of transformer including testing the oil before and after centrifuging from top and bottom of transformer to achieve the BDV value more than 40KV(rms) at 2.5mm air gap including filling in transformers complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Oil Test value record register shall be prepared in presence of Engineer-in-charge/JE and handed over the register to sub division on completion of work. (ii) The contractor is required to submit the di-electric report after dehydration and filtration of each. transformer before claiming payment.

M&L in replacement, under ground LT electric cable, 1100 volt grade, heavy duty, XLPE insulated, armoued electric power cable with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 6 Sqmm, 2 core conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-I) 1988 laid as in trenches / pipes / ducts or fixed along poles / walls etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Description all as per BOQ item No. 12.00 here-in-above but cross sectional area 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core.

Description all as per BOQ item No. 12.00 here-in-above but cross sectional area 70 Sqmm, 3.5 core.

M&L in replacement HT XLPE cable (heavy duty), 11000 volts (earthed), cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core, insulated, screened, sound compacted aluminium conductor, screening with extruded semi conducting layers, insulation screening with copper tape covers laid up with PVC (ST-2), extruded inner sheathed GI strip armoured PVC (ST-2) out sheathed, ISI marked with IS-7098 Part II with amendment upto date, laid as in trenches / pipes / ducts or fixed along poles / walls etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, protection pipes, end termination joints & protection covers etc. if any shall be measured & paid separately.

Supply, fixing, commissioning & testing of relay panel meter suitable for 11 KV RMU (ABB make) as existing at site including taking down old/unserviceable relay from existing RMU panel complete all as specified & directed.

S&F in repair breather assembly with 500 grams silica gel for outdoor type transformers of any capacity upto 315 KVA complete all as specified & directed.

M&L in repair oil temperature gauge /thermometer suitable for outdoor transformers of any make, model, location etc. with shape and size as existing at site complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for disconnecting of HT/LT cables carefully from transformer of capacity 315/250KVA, from pole/plinth mounted, taking down from site of installation carefuly with the help of cranes etc., draining out transformer oil in clean drum, dismantling transformer top cover & dismantling of 04 Nos. LT bushing and 03 Nos. of HT bushing with necessary tools & plants for removal of sediments carbon deposited at bottom of transformer tank on core & winding etc., inlcuding cleaning /washing of oil tank removing the dirt sludge and sticky materials, attending leakages problem if any and replacement of oil seal of any size with required nut, bolt & washer, reassembling, making connections & reinstallation of transformer at site complete all as specified & directed.

Description all as per BOQ item No. 20.00 here-in-above but transformer of capacity 160/200KVA. Note for BOQ item No. 20.00 & 21.00: Notes:- New transformer oil & dehydration of old transformer oil shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L defect rectificatoin of HT cable 95 sqmm 3core 11KV upto lenth of 500mtr, laid in trenches by locating fault with the help of electronic fault locating machine comprising of surge generator pulse, cable route tracer, ECHO fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc. including and additional excavation in soft/loose soil required for exposing the cable fault, removal of deteriorated potion of cable, treating of cable and keeping the same ready for jointing work for cable of any size & rating complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) The fault locating equipments will be brought to site within 24 hours of instruction from Engineer-in-Charge. S&F of cable joints shall be measured & paid seperately. (ii) Any additional fault, if detected in the same span (i.e. 500 mtr) during fault detection will be paid under item No. 33.00 here-in-below.

M&L finding/detection of additional fault in HT cables 95 sqmm 3core 11KV within the length of 500 mtr as described in BOQ item No. 32.00 here-in-above complete all as specified & directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm X 60 cm, 6mm thick thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, connected to GI earth lead strip 32mm x 6mm upto 7.5 mtr long by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connection to earthing test point & earth dolly & GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore 1.5 mtr long for watering including GI pipe medium grade 40mm bore upto 7.5 mtr long for protection of earth lead, wire mesh, funnel, lugs, salt, charcoal dust, excavation & earthwork in soft/losse soil and refilling, pit chamber shall be of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates and pit cover slab 40mm thick Precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/sqm including necessary form work work all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I, including testing on completion at site including dismantling of old existing earthing complete all as specified & directed. Notes for BOQ item No. 62.00 & 63.00:- (i) On testing if the desired earth resistance (less than 05 Ohm) is not obtained, earthing will be re-generated at No extra cost, till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (iii) The chamber shall be constructed atleast 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode.

S&F in repair GI strip of size 25mm x 4mm for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall with saddles and fixing screws etc. or laid underground as in grid connection of earthing complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100mm both ends through welding/brazing.

M&L installation, testing & commissioning in replacement of maintenance free UL approved copper bonded earth rod of 10 feet length (set of three), each 17.2 mm dia, made of high tensile low carbon steel rod, molecularly bonded with 99.9% electrolytic grade copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness - 250 microns) with exothermally jointed copper busbar of 50mm x 6mm x 200mm for connection. The rod and exothermic joint together successfully tested at 25 KA fault current by CPRI with 50 Kg Eco-friendly earth enhancing compound with each earth rod. The earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330mm and height not less than 260mm for each electrode pit. The compound should comply to IEC:62561-7 having passed leaching, corrossion, sulphur & resistivity test as per IEC: 62561-7 by NABL accredited Lab with FRP earth pit cover of top size lockable Lid. It includes GI Protection pipe light grade 40 mm bore with Copper strip of size 20mm x 3mm upto test point complete all as specified & directed. Notes:- (i) Taking out/dismantling of existing earthing (each set) included in quoted rates and materials so retreived shall be credited to contractor. (ii) Copper Strip 20mm x 3mm connecting among tripod of earthing & tripod to test point included in quoted rates. (iii) Cost of Earthwork and neccessary PCC work for earthing pit is included in the above item. (iv) The test result of each set of earthing should be less than 1 Ohm. Payment shall be made only after getting satisfactory result.

BOQ item No. 65.00 contd...../- (v) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engineer-in- charge. (vi) Rate of Earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre in 02 canes (5 Ltr per cane) for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vii) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss, the pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination. (viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab. (ix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall be carried out in any type of soil. (x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of five years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion. A Security deposit against Guarantee of earthing resistance shall be submitted by contractor @ 5% of work done amount. (xi) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing shall be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained. (xii) The quoted rate deemed to be included for all above aspects.
