OD279351/2022-2023:Commissioning of 32 MLD capacity Treatment Plant by testing ,trial running and commissioning of all civil ,Mechanical ,Electrical and electronic components of the plant, operating and maintaining it for a period of one year fulfilling following conditions. (a) All consumables,chemicals and spares required for the commissioning and during the one year maintenance period shall be the responsibility of the Contractor . This includes chemicals viz Alum (50 MT approximately) , Hydrated Lime ( 25 MT approximately), Liquid Chlorine gas for disinfection of Treated water (36 MT approximately) required for the operation of plant for a period of one year. (b) All the operating and supporting staff deployed in the Treatment Plant shall be qualified and experienced as per KWA norms.Minimum One qualified operator and two helpers should be deployed in each shifts and plant shall run in all three shifts.Salary and wages of people deployed for operation and monitoring of WTP shall be the responsibility of Contractor. (c)The treated water quality shall confirm to IS 10500 and its latest amendments.The production out put of the plant shall be meeting the design requirements. (d)Preventive maintenance of all electro mechanical equipments shall be carried out to ensure no irruption in the running of WTP due to breakdown of electro mechanical components. (e)The functioning of laboratory shall be ensured throughout the day to ensure quality of treated water.All chemical and reagents required for the functioning of laboratory during the maintenance period shall be provided by Contractor . (f) The entire WTP operation and its maintenance shall be done through SCADA system designed and installed for the purpose .Up keeping of SCADA system during the maintenance period also shall be the responsibility of Contractor . (g)Operation and up keeping of CCTV cameras installed at various locations inside water treatment plant for monitoring water treatment plant operation and maintenance shall also be the responsibility of Contractor . (h) Inaddition to the staff deployed for day to day plant operation (1 Operator and 2 Helpers shift) One watchman cum security guard need to be deployed at main gate and one gardener should be deployed on daily basis for day to day upkeeping of landscaping carriedout in the WTP compound. (i) Washing and cleaning of tanks, filterbeds, floculator,Platesettler ,Lamella units ,Lagoon shall be carried out at frequent intervals and all dirt, sediments and other wastages shall be disposed off scientifically.
