Civil works
Detailed surveying of the cable route along the alignment fixed by the Board, 2.5mtr width from centre of the path of both side (Total width 5mtr) by using Ground Penetration Radar Method and Pipe detectors to detect all underground utilities at a minimum depth of 4 mtr throughout the length including total station survey for the entire line route and recording the data and propose a safest path for cable laying, 6 set of detailed drawings (2 sets of soft copy additional) of safest cable route including jointing chamber and marking all underground utilities for cable schedule approval and laying works. Making lines and grades preparation of final cable route after the laying and energisation of cable for preserving as permanent record incorporating GPS mapping of entire Cable Route, location of Cable Joints and also important land marks in the Cable Route etc. complete as per directions of departmental officers at site.
Lateral thrust boring (Horizondal Direct Drilling) of holes in all classes of soil suitable for inserting 160 mm dia HDPE Pipes to lines and levels up to a depth of 3 mts without damaging any existing underground utilities fixing 160 mm HDPE pipe in the bore hole made as per the direction of departmental offices at site for drawing of single core 630 mm2 110 kV UG Cable with out any damage as per direction of departmental officers and staff including hire charges for tools and plants, conveying and erecting machinery for the lateral thrust boring and removing the same from the site after completion of the work including loading and unloading and supply of 160mm HDPE pipe
Fabricating and supplying 300mm dia ,6mm thick GI pipe coated with bitumen finish including treading etc of approved quality at work site etc, complete
Uncoiling and laying 110kV U.G cable 630sq.mm (3 number of cables for one circuit) in seperate trafoil formation as per drawing along the already excavated trenches and sand bed formed, looping of cable through the various types of pipes already laid including all charges for handling, uncoiling and paving of cable in trenches using standard cable installation equipments after providing all necessary precautions to be followed as per IS specifications carefully without damaging the existing pipe lines, cables, water lines etc. and rectifying the damages if any occured to the existing installations, providing aluminium identification tags of 150x50mm size and 1mm thick embedded with the mark "KSEB 110kV Cable" at every 5m interval, and stacking the balance cable bits safely etc. complete, but excluding cost of excavation, laying pipes, providing holes etc. and cost of all these items made seperatly(Rate for One Circuit/meter)
Supplying and laying synthetic warning tape of size 300mm wide x 1mm wide thick with printing of DANGER 110kV CABLE KSEB in black letters of size 200mmx5mm and laying in the cable trench during back filling as directed by the departmental officers at site
Providing independent pipe Earthing - excavating earth pit 3.6x0.3x0.3m including over excavation on account of slopping the banks and necessary hire of planks for filling of charcoal, providing 40mm dia 2.9mm thick GI pipe with 12mm dia holes at 15cm c/c on both sides in zig zag manner and fixing 19mm dia GI pipe using GI reducing socket, fixing GI funnels covered with wire mesh of suitable size at top of pipe and connecting the earth pipe to cable using GI flats 50x6mm, packing inside the bore holes with alternate layers of charcoal and salt each of 15cm layers, ceiling the top of pit with CC 1:4:8 concrete packing and providing CI cover having 30x30cm clear opening hinged with 6mm dia MS rods & CI frame, as per latest standards, drawing supplied and directions of officers at site
Carrying out outdoor end termination work including all charges for termination of cables as per standard specifications, assisting the termination work, cutting the cable, supplying all tools & plants and other accessories and all other sundry expenditures etc. complete as per directions of departmental officers at site
Providing route marker/joint marker as standard specifications and drawing at locations specified by the officers at site including all charges for welding 12mm dia MS rods, fixing rods, concerete block using cement concrete 1:3:6 using 20mm broken stone, finishing the surface and embedding letters at top "110KV CABLE" or "110kV CABLE JOINT"
Fabricating, supplying and fixing danger board along the cable route as per drawing including all charges for supplying&fixing 210x298mm sighn board using 18 gauge MS sheet mounted on MS angle 60x60x6mm and 2.75m height (including cost of all fittings and fabrication charges), embedded in cement concrete block 30x30x45cm of CC 1:3:6 using 20mm broken stone and all formwork, coping at top, painting both sides of the board and angle iron with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a priming coat and lettering 2.5 to 4cm height etc. complete as per directions of departmental officers at site
Cable mounting Work on Tower
Supply and fabrication and installation of Galvanised steel required for cable mounting structure, tower mounting structure for LA and end terminations, gantry mounting structure, cable risers etc. wherever required
Mounting LA on the platform constructed on the tower for the purpose including lifting the same and providing the connection
Mounting 110KV 630 mm2 UG Cable on the tower body using special type clamps, bolt and nut etc. and providing connection
Dismantling
Dismantling of tower super structure above ground level including erection of normal and special hill side extension members where ever necessary, including tower accessories like phase, danger and number plates, bird guards, anti climbing devices, etc. complete, leading all the members of tower (tower footing located 6M above ground level) carefully to ground without damage and stacking neatly
Dismantling existing six line ACSR WOLF conductor from the tower and stacking the conductor as per direction
Dismantling existing earth wire from the tower and stacking the conductor as per direction
Civil
Dewatering mechanical-Bailing out water with engine and pumpset including conveyance to site and erection, cost of fuel, lubricating oil and other stores, pay of staff etc.complete

Providing barricading using bamboo poles of 15cm to 24cm girth including all charges for providing 1.25m long poles at 1.2m intervals(15-20cm below ground level) and providing poles horizontally at 3 places and tying firmly, providing danger/caution boards at frequent intervals, painting posts, providing lighting arrangements during night and taking all necessary precautions as per standards etc. complete as per directions of departmental officers at site.
Demolishing brick work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge
Removing mortar from bricks and cleaning bricks including stacking within a lead of 50 m (stacks of cleaned bricks shall be measured) cement mortar
Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually / by mechanical means including dismantling of stubs carefully without any damage , other usable materials and stacking the same at the store of and disposal of unserviceable material within 300 metres lead including initial lead and disposal of rubbish spoil on bank for filling the adjacent area as per the direction of Board officers at site
