ERECTION OF TRUSS : Erecting and placing/fixing grade B structure steel (rolled section and built up section using steel plates & rolled section conforming to IS:2062 with yield strength of 250MPa i.e. Fe250) in steel truss (including top and bottom chord, vertical/diagonal members, stiffeners, gusset/cover plates etc.) plan bracing cross girders/diaphragms, shear connectors etc. supporting RCC deck slab as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works and IRC : 24 specifications.
providing, testing and tightening of high strength friction grip bolts of class/grade 10.9 as per IS 4000 using automatic calibrated torque wrench/pneumatic wrench at all locations of splicing and at all heughts, wherever specified as per drawings and their compatible nuts and washers all complete required to IS:1367, IS:3757 , IS:6610, IS:6623, IS: 6649 and IS: 4000 shall be used. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications.

Providing and fixing hand rail over the crash barrier consisting of MS base plates, embedded fastener and nuts, MS vertical plates and pipes, prepackaged early high strength non shrink grouts etc. as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works.
REINFORCEMENT:

Providing and installing single strip seal expansion joint with a total allowable movement capacity of 70mm per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works and IRC : SP: 69 guidelines & specifications for expension joints.
Providing and fixing drainage spouts as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works.
cleaning and preparing surface and providing and applying the teck coat as per MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works.
Providing and laying 40mm thick bituminous concrete wearing coat with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading , premixed with biitiminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent of mic and filler , transpoting the hot mix to work site , lying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sendor control to the required grade, level and alignment , rolling and smooth wheeled vibratory and tabdem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works.
Providing and laying 25mm mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning surface , including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nomonal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10sqm and at an approx. spacing of 10cm centre to centre to both direction, pressed into surface when the temp. of the surface is not less than 100 degree c , protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface all complete as per MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works.

Providing laying and rolling of open graded premix surfacing of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm aggregates using emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing cource on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant.
Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and crposs fall using Type B seal coats as per the ministry of road transport & Highways. Avg length of approach roads on either side of bridge is taken as 25m.
PROTECTION WORK
Providing and laying of apron with cement concrete blocks of size 0.5*0.5*0.5 m cast-in-situ and made with nominal mix of M-15 grade cement concrete with a minimum cement content of 250kg/cum as per IRC:112 Average size is taken as 10m*5m*1m.
Five Year Maintenance Work
Protection of scuring of Abutment and wing wall with cement plum masonry with 40% plum & 60% 1:3:7 cement concrete including supply of all materials,labour,T&P royality etc required for proper comlpetion of the work as per direction of Engineer in charge. (As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications)
