SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT TO HT CABLE FROM SAMRA SUBSTATION TO SUBSTATION 8A UNDER GE N BINNAGURI

M&L for taking out old unserviceable cable with jointing kit of any size from trenches , GI pipe protection, with and including separating serviceable bricks & set aside and removing un-serviceable bricks from site complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : (i) The Excavation and earth work shall be mesured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch).

Supply, laying, jointing & testing in trenches or passing through pipe, 11000 volts grade (Earthed), XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured HT electric power UG cables, heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area of size 3 core 95 sq mm with and including all fixing & connecting accessories such as Alluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc complete as specified and as directed. (NOTE: Earthwork & Excavation, GI pipe, bricks for protection etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule 'A').

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well rammming in layers not exceeding 25 cms in depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay dry river sand filling for under ground cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing only serviceable PCC cable cover obtained from item No 01 here in before complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and Laying Un-inforced precast concrete cable cover , class HVP type 1 with peak size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm all as specified and directed.

M & L for horizontal boring across the existing road without disturbing the road surface for inserting GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Removal of surplus soil shall be deemed to be include in the unit Rate. (ii) GI pipe will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch 'A'.

M&L 100 mm bore steel tubing light grade ISI marked for protection of cable including necessary joints complete all as specified and as directed.
