Cover the frame with plastie mesh, and lay a geotextile layer on top of the frame to protect plant roots from the direct sunlight, capture falling organie matter and prevent weed colonization. Secure the geotextile layer to the frame with cable ties. Use locally native plants such as Canna indica or similar type (minimum 16 nos per 4 sqm Area) which can purify water by absorbing nutrients and toxic gases in water that thrive in water and will not outgrow the floating wetland. The rate should include all materials, labor charge and related costs, including monitoring and maintaining floating wetland for one year. Monitoring ineludes checking plant health, water quality(testing fee will be paid separately) and structural stability of floating wetland.
