Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth., 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, with all lead and lift within Airport premises disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed. a) All kinds of soil
Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry spoils etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying dry lean cement concrete with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 26.5 mm, aggregate cement ratio not exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specification, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 MPa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant as per mix design, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mix material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) produced in a batching plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. minimum flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using 350 Kg of Ordinary Portland cement of 43 grade, fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge using manual method with steel form work of sturdy M.S. Channel sections, screed, float finish, texture etc. including making necessary provision for expansion joint, curing, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and particular specifications. The item for execution shall also include the following operations:i) Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification.ii) Filling Polysulphide sealant in dummy, construction and expansion joints including providing closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, and painting side of joints with Polysulphide primer, etc. complete (expansion joints to be paid separately under item 8)Note: For the purpose of tendering, the quantity of cement used for one Cum. of finished concrete may be assumed as 350 Kg. If the actual quantity of cement required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. In the case of authorized distributor the rate may be authenticated by the manufacturer.NOTE : Anti-friction layer and expansion joints (P/F Filler Board & P/L Sealant) only shall be paid for separately.
Providing and laying Polythene Sheet (400 Micron thick) conforming to IS 2508 antifriction layer on the sub base course complete as per spefification with specified over lap between adjacent strip and transverse joint (only plan area is measured for payment).
Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre-cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838(part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Polysulphide sealant), complete as per particular specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Mode of measurement shall be length of joint multiplied by depth of filler board including precut portion.)-unit m2
Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 in expansion joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in- Charge & particular specifications. [Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (Length x Width x Depth) of Polysulphide sealant only will be measured.] unit cm3 a) Expansion joints 25mm wide x 10mm deep over 30mm dia expanded polyethylene armour rod.
Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-3 class (Medium duty) R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete. 450 mm dia RCC pipes.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (Zone-III) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).
Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights: Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete
Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate no. of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer‐in‐charge including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. New work (Two or more coats)
Conducting plate load test at subgrade level for checking K-Value including mobilization & de-mobilization of manpower and machinery and submission of reports etc. complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge.
Dismentling and taking away the delapilated temporary structures of size 6.35 m x 5.85 m, Ht - 3.20m & 4.10m x 2.80m, Ht-2.04m and making the site clean etc. as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.
