Dismantling/taking down carefully aluminium/ copper point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixtures and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators , sockets, light fittings etc., removing materials to stores for keeping in safe custody for taking credit and making good the disturbed surfaces of wall, floors, ceiling etc to match with the existing surfaces with matching OBD/White wash/Distemper complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting of ceiling fan using synthetic enamel paint in two coats over one coat of primer of any make/sweep/model etc after cleaning/washing and fill up cavities using filler including writing MES NO Black Colour complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for hanging only ceiling fan any type/ sweep after repair and connecting up including provision of cable from ceiling rose to connector to fan including refixing of blades all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rewinding of ceiling fan of any size with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge incuding varnishing and drying complete reassembling & testing complete of size 1200/ 1400 mm sweep complete all as specified and directed. NOTE for item Nos 61.00 to 67.00 : - (i) Fans to be repaired/ rewinded will be handed over to contractor at MES store yard after cutting the burnt winding in presence of Engr-in-charge and cost of cutting of winding shall be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of shifting the fan from MES store yard to contractors workshop and back shall be included in the item. (iii) Fans will be issued to the contractor in lots of 10 Nos and more for which, contractor shall ensure that minimum lot of 10 number each be returned to the department on every fifth day from the issue of fans after carried out rewinding and other repair, in failing so, the amount @ Rs. 20/- per fan per day shall be deducted from the contractor due till the returning of fan duly tested.

Material and labour for taking down Exhaust fan of any size/ sweep after disconnecting the wire from existing ceiling rose dismentaling of blades and deposited to store for repair all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rewinding of exhaust fan of any size with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge incuding varnishing and drying complete reassembling & testing complete of size 230 to 450 mm sweep complete all as specified and directed. NOTE for item No 62.00, 68.00 to 72.00 : -(i) Fans to be repaired/ rewinded will be handed over to contractor at MES store yard after cutting the burnt winding in presence of Engr-in-charge and cost of cutting of winding shall be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of shifting the fan from MES store yard to contractors workshop and back shall be included in the item. (iii) Fans will be issued to the contractor in lots of 10 Nos and more for which, contractor shall ensure that minimum lot of 10 number each be returned to the department on every fifth day from the issue of fans after carried out rewinding and other repair, in failing so, the amount @ Rs. 20/- per fan per day shall be deducted from the contractor due till the returning of fan duly tested.

Taking down old unserviceable geyser of cap 25 ltrs including all necessary electrical/water connection and keeping in safe custody for reuse inciuding all necessary minor repairs /servicing etc and checking serviceability of parts, necessary cleaning & reassembling the geyser, making necessary adjustment and refixing the repaired geyser in position, connecting to existing electric & water connections and testing at site complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of minor repair including following works deemed to be included in quoted rates. (a) Inspection of geyser after opening bottom cover plate. (b) Examine any water leakage from geyser/storage tank. (c) Carry out operation of all stop cocks, pressure reducing valves, etc. to ensure free movement of the working parts. (d) Replace washers and glands to ensure smooth functioning. (e) Inspect vent pipes and remove blockage obstruction if any. (f) Check and correct earth continuity of electrical items. (g) Check and correct temperature setting of thermostats. (h) Items reqd for replacement will measured under respective item 74 to 84 of BOQ' as "Supply only".

Supply and fixing of copper cable PVC insulated and PVC sheathed flexible size 2.5Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed. (Cable shall be in suitable length as per site requirement).

Supply only heating element of capacity 2 KW of geyser of any approved make ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only apparatus plate assembly with rubber gasket including nuts, bolts, washers for geysers of 35/25 ltrs capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only thermostat ISI marked suitable for the Geysers 25 ltrs capacity, 20 Amps, 240 Volts AC, adjustable type, 210 mm long or nearest size as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only PVC connections pipe with brass hexagonal adapters both side suitable for 15mm dia pipe 60cm long for cold water as per requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only temperature resistent SS braided pipe suitable to sustaine pressure up to 8 bar not less than 60 Cm long suitable for out going / Hot water connections of Geyser with washer etc. complete as an directed.

Supply only Non-return valve 15mm / 20mm dia of brass ISI marked as per requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Indicators of Geysers of any capacity/type (Red & Green) as per requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 3 pin plug top, 16 amp capacity, 240 VAC, heavy duty, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Geyser storage inner tank made out copper sheet suitable for 25 ltrs capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only safety valve plug made out brass metal with fusible lead, inner thread type suitable for geyser of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of sheet metal enclosure SP with two pin and earth plug and socket with one single pole, MCB 20 Amps, 'B' curve, 240 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour only for repair/replacement of unserviceable electrical fitting and fixture and emergent fault rectification in electrical circuit including no light, earth leakage, short circuit, neutral break mains /sub mains/internal circuits of existing system of main building / block ,making continious electric supply including carrying out minor repairs etc as required to make system in order / functional by replacing, copper cable, copper thimbles, glands, earthing wire complete all as specified and directed.as reqd at site by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: - (a) Items reqd for replacemen such as switchs, sockets for power/light/ fan/ bell/geyser points including security lights complete will be measured and paid under respective items No 87 to 103 of BOQ' as "Supply only". (b) Contractor rep/supervisor will report to MES Service Centre alongwith reqd sufficient skilled/unskilled manpower between 930 Hrs to 1030 Hrs on all working days. for carrying out necessary execution. (c) Contractor will attend emergent nature of work i.e. no light, short circuit after working hours/holiday. The rate of the is deemed to be included in above quoted rates.

Taking out old unserviceable earthing and material & labour for earthing with Galvanised Steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanised Iron wire 4 mm as earthing lead (upto terminal point) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and thimbles and protected by light grade 15 mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel , wire mesh, 50 mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1using 20 mm graded stone aggregate , reinforced with 8 mm dia dedormed /TMT bars 3 nos both way 12 mm dia round bar handle and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, including excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning , filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009(Part-I) complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Earth lead wire and its protection pipe upto and including 7.50 mtr only from top of earth electrode are included under this item. (ii) On testing if the earth resistance is not obtained within permissible limit, earthing will be re-done at NO extra cost ,till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (iii) Any joint in earth lead from earth electrode to test point shall not be allowed/permitted.

NOTE:- Amount of credit of Rs. 97,211.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No 19 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
