M&L for taking out old earthing Infra with test point and GI pipe compete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of old defective earthing by providing new chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 900mmx 600mm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 3.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including Copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers or brazing etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including Magnesium sulphate (150Kg) including refilling of earth pit with cultivated soil and removal of surplus soil upto 50mtrs apart etc. complete. Note: Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value should be less than 1 ohm ,Failing to achieve the value ,the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost.

M & L for replacement of old defective earthing by providing as new earthing comprising of galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule 2020, Part–I (Specifications) and connected to main switch board / main DB’s / earthing test point including all necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, adequate quantity of charcoal dust & common salt all around the earth plate minimum 150 mm in all directions with & including watering pipe 20 mm dia GI medium grade, GI funnel made out of 0.63 mm thick GI sheet, wire gauge, , GI protection pipe light grade 40 mm bore including testing on completion of job complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The earth resistance value should be less than 5 ohm,Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost.

M & L for replacement of old defective earthing by providing new earthing comprising of copper earth plate electrode 600 mm X 600 mm X 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level, connected to copper earth strip of size 20 X 3 mm by means of nut-bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule 2020, Part–I (Specifications) and connected to main switch board / main DB’s / earthing test point including all necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt all around the earth plate in alternate layers minimum 150 mm (compacted thickness) in all directions with and including watering pipe 20 mm dia GI medium grade, GI funnel made out of 0.63 mm thick GI sheet, wire gauge, GI protection pipe light grade 40 mm bore including testing on completion of job complete all as specified and directed. The earth resistance value should be less than 3 ohm,Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost. Note on ser No 2.00 to 4.00 :- 1. Earth lead & protection pipes length upto & including 7.50 meter shall be deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate. 2.Earth filling shall be done by vegitable soil. 3. Soil should be free from stone , boulders, aggregate, gravels etc. 4. On testing after completion of Job,if desired earth resistance value as specified is not obtained, the earthing shall be re- done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

Taking out of existing UG cable of size 10 sqmm to 35 sqmm including taking out bricks to detect fault and jointing with suitable size of LT joint kit and re-laying the same complete all as specified and directed.
