M&L for maintenance to check serviceability of micro-processor based intelligent fire control system with panel 10 to 12 loops / zone with control panel, wiring and detectors of any type and locating fault therein and repairing and rectifying the fault by replacing faulty parts / accessories and reconnecting the entire system and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) Job shall be done by qualified technician / Engineer of OEM (ii) Defective parts replaced will be measured and paid separately under respective item (iii) System diagram in AutoCAD, of the entire system duly marked with detectors, hooters, fire extinguishers, etc. in A3 size shall be submitted in quadruplicate to the Engineer-in-charge (iv) Testing shall be done in presence of the Users, Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor. Test certificates shall be duly vetted by all concerned and shall be submitted alongwith RAR (v) One display chart duly framed (of size as directed) showing the complete system diagram of each building in AutoCAD shall be fixed on each floor. Cost of same shall be included in the quoted rate

M&L for installation and testing suitable licensed software for fire alarm control panel suitable for 10 to 12 loops / zones compatable with existing system complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (i) Job shall be done by qualified technician / Engineer of OEM (ii) Software shall be installed at requisite location / panel / terminals as directed (iii) Software shall be having minimum license vaidity of 3years from date of installation. The license code shall be made available to the Engineer-in-charge (iv) Testing shall be done in presence of the Users, Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor. Test certificates shall be duly vetted by all concerned and shall be submitted alongwith RAR (v) The Contractor shall be liable to reload/re-install in the event of software getting corrupted by any cause whatsoever. The Contractor shall ensure proper functioning of the entire system within the software control and shall take remedial measures as required in the event of any inconsistancy (vi) Cost of above shall be included in the quoted rate

Notes for serial item Nos. 17 & 18: (i) The cost of copper / GI earth continuity wire with GI pipe 50mm medium grade upto 7.5m is deemed to be included (ii) The earth chamber to be constructed 0.5m from edge of earth pit with necessary watering arrangement. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in above item (iii) Earthing shall produce desired earth resistance values as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (iv) The earth resistance shall be as desired by the installation. A guarantee for 3years of this criterion on a Rs. 100 stamp paper shall be given by the Contractor. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of this aspect

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning maintenance free tripod chemical earthing system consisting of 3Nos. of solid copper earth rod of 17.2mm dia and 3m long made of high tensile low carbon steel, molecularly bonded with 99.9% electrolyitc grade copper on outer surface having 250microns (minimum thickness) with exothermically jointed copper bus bar of 150x25x3mm for long lasting and connecting each copper rod and the exothemically jointed bus bar, both CPRI tested on at leat 25kA fault current ensuring high current carrying capacity of the system and earth rod should be certified by laboratories confirming to comply with UL 467 international standards grounding and bonding equipment and each rod should be used with minimum 50kg earth enhancing compund that should be ROHS tested and have passed leaching sulpher, corrosion, resisitivity test shall be less than 0.05lhm mtr and international standard for earth enhancement compound by NABL acredited laboratory and each rod should be interconnected with 8mm dia copper clad steel conductor at the distance of 3m to make a shape of traingle with top of the bore finished with 40mm thick PCC in 1:2:4 type B-1, 75mm thick PCC in 1:4:8 type D-2 and back fill/JAM compund shall be covered with advanced polymer pit cover of 30x30mm size including taking out and disposing of old earthing complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for item No. 19: (i) The earthing shall comply to IS 3043, UL 467, BS/EN50164-7 (ii) The earth resistance shall be less than 01Ohm. A guarantee for 3years of this criterion on a Rs. 100 stamp paper shall be given by the Contractor. Notes for all items of BOQ for sewage disposal system: (i) The sewage disposal system shall be capable of treating the sewage so as to meet the outlet effluent quality as per the following parameters: (a) BOD<10mg/litre (b) COD-150mg/litre (c) DO- 2mg/litre or more (d) TSS- <10mg/litre (e) PH- 6.5 to 8.5 (f) Oil & grease- <10mg/litre (g) Coliform- <100MPN/100ml (h) Residual chlorine- >1mg/litre (ii) The tests of maintaining the above parameters shall be done in NABL accredited laboratory and test reports shall be submitted in duplicate

Notes contd.: (iii) All necessary precautions and all safety measures as per Municipality rules / relevant regulatory guidelines shall be taken by the Contractor in employing his mechnical means and workmen. No person shall be employed in direct contact with sewage wells, etc. in foul conditions to prevent any health hazards, etc. only mechanical means shall be used (iv) The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any mishap to any of labourer deployed and to equipment/machinery/plants/material, etc. brought at site for work and any lapses whatsoever during the execution, (v) The work shall be executed under the supervision of highly skilled tradesman / supervisor, (vi) The rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of all the above aspects, and no claims whatsover shall be entertainable at later stages and or during execution
